Simply The Best Heating and Cooling

Wouldn't really stand by the products they sell. Exceptionally poor customer service. After they "repaired" it, the unit barely worked right. Nothing annoys me more than when an AC company says that an AC unit won't cool below 80 during the summer. Thank goodness we found a decent company that is responsive and stands by their work. Guess what? It cools just fine now after they repaired the shoddy installation! Simply the best? Nope. Simply the worst!

Sloppy work and cut corners on my installation. Many thousands of dollars down the drain getting it fixed. What a disaster. Switched to another company and got it done right. I wish I had never called them in the first place.

Ryan was once again excellent. He performed the expected thorough inspection then went over and above, helping us with thermostat programming and corresponding APP download and set up.

Company replaced 2 run caps on 6/2/2016 because AC had stopped cooling. I paid them 15.00 a month to be on their preferred customer list, which at the beginning I was told, would put me at the top of any list for repair work. However, when I called on 6/1/2016, they said they couldn't get to me until the next day because they were too busy and in Gilbert which was too far away. I reminded them of the 24 hour service, but it didn't make any difference. So, they did make it out the next evening. Replace the 2 run caps. Then on 7/31/2016, AC went out again. I called and AGAIN, they could come out because they were too busy and in Gilbert (I live in Glendale and had purchased this unit from them). I was in a situation that I explained to them and had to get it fixed that day, but they told me no, they weren't driving to Glendale for an hour and then back for another hour to fix my AC. I asked them why they didn't have a tech in Glendale or West side. They said they do, but he only works Monday thru Friday, not on weekends. He also told me to call another company if I wanted to.....I did do that, cancelled my monthly payments, and discovered what a sloppy job they had been doing all along because the new company showed me pictures of how they fixed my AC and the mess they had created. I wish I had known that a long time ago, because Simply the Best never tried to get to the root of the problem. I purchased this unit from them and have had 11 run caps replaced, and suggested Hard Start installed and a suggested surge protector. All in an attempt to stop the problems with the Run Caps. New company has installed a Run Cap with 3 year warranty, made in USA and is NOT a cheap made in China part. New company redid the mess Simply the Best created and my AC is running great. I do not recommend Simply The Best. When I purchased this AC from Simply the Best, they should have replaced it after so many Run Caps were blowing instead of just replacing them....now it's not under manufactors warranty. A new AC and 11 run caps in 5 years is not acceptable.

2 years ago Simply the Best installed a new unit on my home which is under warranty and I stayed in the monthly maintenance plan with them so I could prevent problems. On Thursday 6/2/2016 I noticed our system was not holding the temperature in the afternoon so I called for a service. The technician responded and said we needed three pounds of Freon. My contract covers 1lb so I paid for the other 2. Saturday afternoon the system is now worse than it was. The temp in my home is 10 degrees hotter than the setting and the system keeps shutting off. So I call for service again and get "Jesse". "Jesse" first speaks to my wife and explains they can't fix anything on warranty on the weekends since their policy just changes... After my wife explains this I call "Jesse" back...As I'm trying to explain to Jesse what is going on he keeps cutting me off to tell me what they CAN'T do for me. No offer of portable units, no offer to try to get a temp fix in place just a bunch of yelling between two angry men now.... (yep I was irritated and sitting in a hot house but who wouldn't be mad now)... Jesse goes on to tell me that they can't do warranty work on weekends because they can't get parts. I explained that is why I called on Thursday so this would not happen, why was it not fixed then? Again I'm told that they can't work on the weekend. Why do I pay for the warranty and service contract, remember this unit is only 2 years old, I should not be typing this. Jesse informed me he was going to ask the Owner what options are available and get back to me. That was at 4:57 PM, I tried to call him back at 5:40 PM and no answer, I called the main number again at 5:40 to try and get answers and was told that "Jesse" was no longer on call and that they would forward my information to the on-call tech. At 5:55 PM I again tried Jesse to no avail. I called the main line again and was told by the answering service that they had the information and would forward it again. 6:20. No call back yet... 11 PM .... still nothing... I guess they are mad I yelled back at "Jesse" for yelling at me, and my wife. Sorry, Simply the Best... This could have all been different if "Jesse" would have just wanted to do his job.

It was great. We are cool and comfortable. They are very responsive to our questions.

I purchased a "Tune-Up and Power Clean" from this company on Living Social. As I have a contract and extended warranty on my 3-year-old Trane 19i system with another company and the system had just been serviced in the last month I told the tech that all I wanted was the power clean (which my regular company charges extra for - and this deal was $60 cheaper than what my regular company charges). I did find out why - where my regular company removes the 'lid' and spray-cleans from the inside, this company only sprays a chemical on the outside and rinses it off - a cheaper method that doesn't appear as thorough as a reverse-flush type cleaning. The tech did an acceptable job - what got me is in talking to the tech about what his company might be able to do better than my current contracted company he stated several "mis-truths" (to put it most kindly). I will not consider this company for any future work, and what I got was barely worth the $25 I paid - much less the "$139.95" I supposedly saved per their receipt. Not cool.

very well, they were prompt, completed it on the day we aggreed upon. Couldn't be happier.

WE HAD NEVER USED THIS COMPANY BEFORE, BUT FOUND THAT WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH THEIR SERVICES. THEY WERE COURTEOUS. WE WERE GLAD THEY COULD COME OUT ON SUCH SHORT NOTICE.
