Well, it's been over a year since this company was here, but I remember the service well enough to report that Shaggy's is the reason I bought a Bissell. I don't know how he managed it, but the guy managed to squeeze more than twice the original quote out of me. Maybe because I'm a homeschooling mom of six and he realized distraction = upsell? No matter, he lost a repeat customer. He soaked the carpets to the extent that they curled up in the middle and took three days to dry. Try keeping six kids off a carpet for three days. Then he had the nerve to ask me how I looked so good after six kids...did I work out? Completely inappropriate and borderline creepy behavior.

It went well. The gentleman was very thorough, and he did a good job for a fair price.

It was a terrible experience. They had no idea what they were doing, and it was like they had never cleaned carpet. What's more is that the carpet wasn't even clean when they finished, and it took the carpet three days to dry.

They were upfront and honest about what services were necessary at any given time, and they always did a good job with the cleanings. I would definitely recommend them to others.

The gentleman was very personable, but he continuously tried to upsell me until I relented. Furthermore, his treatment made it very difficult to vacuum the carpet at later occasions, and other carpet cleaners had difficulties, too. When I brought this to his attention, he didn't seem to care. Because of this, I will not use him for future cleanings.

I had originally scheduled an appointment with Zerorez to clean three rooms and two walk-in closets. Zerorez came out and then told my wife it was going to be an extra $45. She called me and put them on the phone and I asked them to pack up and leave. I had marginal service from them in the past so this was the last chance. I was now pressed for time due to our moving into the home the next day. I called Dave with Shaggy's and he stated he had a full day scheduled, but could take care of it before his job in Tempe. I live in Buckeye so squeezing in an appointment as he drove past on his way to Tempe was an efficeint move and took care of my need at the time I required. Upon arrival he recommended an upgrade to the restoration cleaning (which we knew we needed before he arrived) and we agreed. He used the rotary cleaner to scrub and clean the carpet and it worked GREAT!! There was a noticable difference. Also he was very professional and when he was finished he went through and explained everything he had done. While he described the process I told him about an allergy my youngest child has and he said he was going to get his equipment back out of his van and do a clean water rinse and extract more water just to ensure she would not have an issue with allergies. This took an extra 45 minutes of his time!! Thanks Dave. End result: Carpet is signifigantly cleaner and SOFT. He also scrubbed the other rooms and closets using the same process for no extra charge. We will call him next time we need these services done.

My carpet has never been so clean!

They were pretty good. They did a free upgrade and they did a great job. They were clean cut, professional, courteous, and on time.

I was mildly disappointed with the service overall, as compared with other carpet cleaners I have used. While David explained the service options well, he seemed to be in a big hurry and more focused on getting on to the next job, rather than doing my job to the best of his ability. Too much "Red Bull" on a Monday morning seemed possible. He had showed me all of the pet stains with a black light in order to up-sell the need to pre-treat the stains. Yet when he was finished and the carpets had dried a few hours later, some of the same urine (small dog) stains remained clearly visible. It seems he either missed them with the pre-treat spray, or missed them entirely with the aluminum "wand" which applied solution and then sucked it up. My best guess is that he was in too much of a hurry, but maybe he provides a different level of service to customers from Groupon. I cannot be sure. Another turn-off was that David seemed to be teaching the new guy the ropes on how things were to be done, but his tone and teaching style lacked patience and tact. Whatever coaching needed to be done with this trainee needed to be handled in a constructive, respectful and professional manner. Condescending comments toward a fellow employee should never be made within hearing distance of the customer. As an update, the gentleman did come back and correct his mistakes to my satisfaction.

It was difficult to remove the spots. Cleaner offered to return if needed -which he did very happily.

David was very responsive in getting our appointment scheduled and he arrived on time to do the work. He was in our home for three hours, cleaning the above-mentioned carpets and area rugs using his non-toxic, pet-friendly cleaning solution. One of the reasons we chose him was because his chemicals are so pet-friendly. They're fast-drying too! By the end of the day, the carpets were almost completely dry! The carpets look great and the area rugs look brand new (they're 8 years old). All the little "mystery spots" in the carpet that seemed to crop up over time are gone, plus he got rid of the red stain from the carpet where my husband spilled NyQuil.
