+ -1 morePrior to moving into a new home, the previous owners contracted Craig to fix a leaky sink/garbage disposal. They provided me with his invoice in case there were any issues. We tested the sink, and it still leaked. I contacted Craig to come back and fix the leak. He was very defensive, but agreed to come back on a specific date. He never showed up! And never returned multiple calls. Shoddy work AND poor work ethic. Steer clear of this guy!

I was able to replace the flapper and fill valve in the one bathroom, but when I went to change out the supply line, I was not able to get the bolt tightened. He completed that and then replaced the supply line and fill valve in the master bath.
Description of Work: Needed supply line bolt tightened and supply line/fill valve replaced in another toilet.

Description of Work: Our 5-year old gas water heater starting leaking. It has a 6-year warranty. We contacted two other plumbing companies prior to Seabrooks. The first company wanted $70 just to look at our water heater. We scheduled an appt with the second company. The second company looked at our water heater and quickly tried to up-sell us on the fact that we need a drainage pan, water leak alarm system, and an extended warranty (because they said a replacement water heater would not have a full warranty but only one that extends to Dec 2011, which turned out to not be true as per the manufacturer). We got tired of hearing about all the extra things we need, so we called around and found Seabrooks. Seabrooks met us the next day, determined that the model water heater we have no longer is made, but there is a newer improved model which will cost us about $100 in addition to the $225 installation fee. We accepted their estimate and they got the new gas water heater in the same day and it works fine. They didn't try to sell us all kinds of extra nonsense and they were professional.

+ -1 moreWe have a plumbing service contract with another company. They came out and did an estimate. Just the four pairs of valves and lines were estimated at over $640! I didn't believe that. We had used Craig Seabrooks before and had been happy with the work, so I called him. His estimate (over the phone) was about $250, so we scheduled the work. Craig arrived at the appointed time and went right to work. He took care of the valves and lines in less than two hours, and the bill was just over $200. The work looks great. It has been three weeks since the work was done, and we've had no problems whatsoever.
Description of Work: Craig replaced four pairs of angle stops (valves) and four old plastic supply lines (replaced with braided metal hoses). He also fixed one leaking faucet. Some of the old valves had leaked, and we had heard that the plastic supply lines were also a leakage hazard.

+ -1 moreI do have positive memories with the use of this company. They were very nice people. The person that I spoke with over the phone was very nice and gave me a very accurate quote. The worker that showed up was clean and nice as well. I don't remember the exact price for this service.
Description of Work: I had them unclog my kitchen sink. It was not draining at all. They used a snake to unclog it.

+ -1 moreThey reviewed the work and said they needed to order some parts. They told me that they would order the parts and call back to schedule an install. I heard nothing for a week. I then called and left a message checking on the status of the parts and the install and never got a call back. Had to call someone else.
Description of Work: They arrived promptly to look over a toilet problem and a leaky pipe running to my sump pump in my basement.
