Presidential did a superb job from start to finish. Our salesperson, Karin, was very responsive and stayed in the game with us even when we paused for a while to consider all of our options. Her initial design was excellent and she made the changes that we suggested and got us back a new drawing usually within 24 hours. The estimates were very easy to read and understand. The installation itself could not have gone better. Our project manager, Nick, was always easy to reach and took a hands-on approach to making sure everything went smoothly. They use Pro Edge Build project management software, so that it was easy to login and see exactly where we were on the project timeline and what to expect next. They broke ground on January 6th and the pool was filled with water, with the filter running on January 31st! We could not be happier with the experience and with the finished product.

They did a good job, we love our pool.

They're fine until you reach the point of no return. As soon as payments start being made, and work starts I'd have to say it was the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The same can be said for the landscaping they use.

I have a 10 year old spa on which the electronic "brain" went out. The part lists for $999 at the manufacturer's site. Presidential Pools and Spas provided the part (directly from the manufacturer) for $699! I was able to quickly get my spa back in working condition and saved $300 in the process.

We did our research when it came to selecting a pool company to design and build the pool of our dreams and in the end we selected Presidential Pools. I cannot say enough great things about the company! We went into their office and worked with a designer, one-on-one to complete a custom pool, hot tub, and surrounding hard scape. He spent a good deal of time with us, listening to our wants/needs and helping us to select the best options. He explained everything in great detail, which was much appreciated. We placed our deposit and the work began. In the end Presidential Pools built us a beautiful custom pool with attached hot tub, that spills into the pool. We also have two stone columns with water features. We had them install an all tile hot tub. We have the in-floor cleaning system, special lighting, and everything is remote controlled...AWESOME! They also placed a large amount of stone work on the columns and also along the back wall - facing our home - in the pool. As far as hard scape they installed beautiful travertine around the pool - as pool decking. We had them use the same travertine to cover our back patio, create large stepping stones and also to complete another patio area. Presidential was a pleasure to work with. We had an issue with our pool fencing (a sub-contractor, which they fired due to our job), but they were quick to fix it and make it right. They met the schedule and stayed on task and kept to our budget. We dealt with several individuals at Presidential and all of them were a delight to work with. I would HIGHLY recommend them to friends and family.

This job went very smooth from start to finish. I have been involved in construction all of my life. Things usually don't go as planned. That is not the case with Presidential Pools. I had 4 estimates on this project. Of the 4 one never came up with an actual figure. Two did give me numbers but every time I asked a question the numbers changed. When I sat down with James MacDougall in the Bell Rd. location I gave him the information I had give all of the other sales people. When we meet the second time he had a lot of great suggestions for options I choose the ones I wanted. We agreed on the price and that is the price I paid. This is my second home and I was not in town for most of the construction. I was very concerned about the effect the project would have on my neighbors. I did not have one complaint from anyone during the construction. All of the workers were very courteous and respectful to all of the surrounding properties. The completed pool is great. James MacDougall said at the start I don't just want you to have a pool in your backyard. I want to transform your backyard into something that can be enjoyed for years to come. The finished product did just that. The value of my is much greater and I could not be happier.

Presidential Pools and especially our sales person, Mike Foster, were awesome! We ordered and received our LA Spas Swim Spa exactly when they said we would and they installed it expertly. It also included the removal of our old spa and we have a difficult back yard but their team had no trouble at all. Additionally, once the water was in and all was working, they came back to show us every single feature. We couldn't have asked for a better experience or a nicer company to work with!

We had 3 quotes for pools, one from Shasta, one from Cailfomia and Presidential. They all were very professional and appealing but Presidential had the best value. They also had very good customer feedback on Angie's List. We went with them and are extremely happy with how it turned out. We got exactly the pool we envisioned in less time than we expected. There was not one hiccup with these guys and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They did exactly what they said they would and exactly when and how they said they would do it. The site supervisor Clay even went beyond the call of duty on a couple of occasions and did helpful things that were unexpected, like waiting at the house for the City inspector. The reason:....we did this entire project without being there. We live in Canada and were only there for the digging of the hole. The next time we came back there was a pool and a clean yard. Clay kept us abreast of the progress with emails and photos during the six weeks or so that it took to build. Definitely would encourage anyone looking to install a pool to get a quote from Presidential.

Ish Cervantes who heads up Pool Renovations Pro, the renovating division of Presidential Pools, is very good at customer service and at keeping the job moving along. You have to go over the plans with the workers when the crew boss is not there to make sure they understand what you want. When Ish or the crew boss is there, everything goes smoothly. The job turned out very well, we are very satisfied, and would recommend them.

Provider has been used in past for other scope of work requirements and I was satisified with workmenship and price. This time refered sub for bid based on scope of work. Price was a factor and sub provider was not selected.

I recently purchased a pool through Presidential Pools, and could not be happier with the end results. You have no idea what a difficult decision this was for me, I started the process in October last year and met with 9 different pool companies, and ended up getting quotes from 5. I did more research and learned more about what's needed to build a pool, than I ever thought I would want to. What it came down to was customer service, service, tenure and reputation of the company and of course price always comes into play but was not the most important. In fact, I actually selected another company on the first pass, and even signed an agreement, but once that agreement was signed and I had a question, the salesperson who I was working with, and who was so responsive earlier, suddenly dropped out of sight. Since I was within my 3 day right to rescind period, that was a sign to me that I made the wrong choice. It was then when I called Jim Sherlock, who was my contact for my second choice, and started working with him. I especially appreciated their dedicated service team, that Jim shared with me. Jim was not only responsive, but always very up front and honest. I appreciated his input when we were picking tiles and colors - which was helpful from someone who had not built one before. Even throughout the pool building process, he was there to answer questions and when an issue came up, regarding something we had discussed on the contract. He never dropped out of sight once we had signed off on the contact. He always found the answers or addressed the concern. I've really enjoyed working with him and will refer him personally in the future. When I noticed the start of the pool deck wasn't lined up with the pavers on our patio that we laid, I reached out to Pat Kearney who was the manager over the deck division, promptly assessed the situation and provided me 3 options to fix the problem. All three options were acceptable and it was down to which one I preferred. Some that would have been at a greater cost to Presidential and added more time to fix. Because of the miss, he also did a few little extras for me to help make up for this, his little extras and the options he came up with, is what really put this company in a different light. Mistakes can happen, but how a company responds to it, really defines the quality of the company and their willingness to ensure customer satisfaction. Pat was extremely responsive, and I honestly could not be happier and in fact love the end results even more than what was planned. I can't express enough, how much I appreciated the solution - Pat was wonderful to work with. All in all, they have a great staff, Gene the project manager, insured all the items needed to pass inspection were addressed and Nick was especially helpful as he walked through the general overview of the equipment and pool, along with the necessary chemicals. He was so thorough and patient, as I was also trying to address a conference call and had someone else at the house doing windows AND I was trying to record him so I'd remember all that he was telling me. Great guy, I loved his professional experience input, on some items, as I asked him many questions. What's even better is they completed my pool on time as planned! Having been with a company for 28 years, with a focus on customer service, I appreciate those who provide excellent customer service - and they definitely have a great team of people. I have people that report to me across the US, and I for one, know my success is dependent on how well they're performing and taking care of our customers, so I can really appreciate a fantastic team of people like the staff at Presidential Pools. People know that I don't take any decision lightly and would never recommend someone that I don't completely believe in, I truly believe they are the pool company of choice!

Everything was great. They did excellent work, and they gave me exactly what I wanted in a pool.

The end result turned out well. However, services and features which we believed to be included in their original estimate were not which raised the final price for completing the work. We were not happy with this. They would also say that they would return the next day to finish a job, but it would sometimes take them 3 or 4 days to do show up. We also replaced the sprinkler system they installed since it had leaks in it.

They were prompt and professional, and they did a good job with the installation as well.

The sales department was very attentive and thorough, and we are happy with the finished product. A few small issues arose after the construction, but we are satisfied with the way in which the company handled them.

We don't have any problems with Presidential Pools and their construction work, but we are having issues with the sub-contractors that they are sending to the house for the mud and soil concerns. Basically, we have to go back and forth with these contractors which can be frustrating.

Presidential Pools had the best price as well as a good selection of materials in its showroom. They did a great job with the installation, too.

We are satisfied with the pool, and we would definitely recommend them for service. However, we weren't as happy with the hardscaping work, and we wouldn't recommend that division of the company.

We worked with Larry Sherlock to design our pool and hardscape. He was a delight. He listened and designed a pool that was beyond our expectations. We worked with 2 other companies who designed a pool that they wanted us to have, not the pool we wanted. So we were very happy from our first meeting with Larry. Larry managed to stay within our budget, while the other companies exceeded our budget by $10,000 and more. One company said he could get our pool at the price we wanted as long as we cut out half of what we wanted. Larry was able to give us everything we wanted at a very fair price. Gene, the pool super, met with us before the excavation was to begin and explained everything we should expect. They were on time, and left the yard clean and orderly. They forgot to leave us some dirt that we had asked for, so Gene arranged for the dirt we needed to be delivered. It was there in the next 2 days. We will use it to do some landscaping. Once it was time for the hardscape to begin, Supervisor Jaimie came out and introduced himself and explained all that would take place. This work has been taking place during the holidays, and they have been very respectful of our family time and have made arrangements with us, in advance, for the work to be done. Each day they work, they leave the yard clean and orderly. Once again, the job they are doing is far exceeding our expectations. I will recommend Presidential to everyone who asks. Even if they don't ask, I will tell them how awesome they are!

After meeting with a salesman in May, I was told that the pool would be completed in about three weeks. Of course, first we had to get permission from the HOA, but surprisingly, it didn't take long and the pool construction began in early June. However, it wasn't finished until sometime near the end of August...3 months, instead of 3 weeks. Part of the problem was that the construction manager went on vacation. Also, we had some wet ground issues from a neighboring home's sprinkler system, but as you can imagine, in the Arizona heat, the water dried quickly. This was a small, very simple pool....3 MONTHS was way too long. I think we were misled by the sales guy...who would never, ever - not even once - return my calls after I signed the papers and paid a deposit on the pool. My main complaints are as follows: 1. In order to pick out the pool tile colors and pay a deposit, the salesman told me that I would have to drive from my home on the far east end of Mesa, to their sales office in west Phoenix - took me 90 minutes just to drive over there and another 90 to drive back. Turns out, I could have done the same thing at one of their stores located just a few BLOCKS from my home, but at the time, I wasn't aware that they even had a store nearby. I didn't learn that they had a store near my home until later on, when they needed a sizable payment from me...then some woman in the office was happy to inform me that they had a store near my home where I could drop off my check. When I realized how close my home was to their store, I asked the woman if I just couldn't have stopped in there to pick out my tile. She said, "Yes, of course." So apparently, the sales guy was afraid his commission might get away from him if I showed up at the store near my home to pick out my tile and pay a deposit. It makes me angry that this guy had NO problem inconveniencing me, as he knew it was going to be along drive for me. 2. After I picked out my tile colors, I could never reach the sales guy again, though I left several messages for him. He never once responded to my phone calls. The reason I was trying to reach him was to let him know that the company's office staff was using the WRONG phone number in trying to communicate with us, so we weren't getting their messages. I also contacted the office staff several times AND spoke directly with the site manager twice, but unbelievably, they STILL kept using the wrong phone number...repeatedly leaving messages on an answering machine in a vacant home. So we had HUGE communication problems and I am still angry that the sales guy would never even return my phone calls after I signed the paperwork. 3. When it came time to fill the pool with water, they stuck a hose in the pool, turned the water on, and left. We had no idea they were filling the pool. Our tenants had no idea they were filling the pool. In fact, our tenants were on vacation and would be gone for a week. We happened to drop by the house and saw that the pool was being filled, so we were able to shut the water off when it got full. What the (%$? If we hadn't stopped by, the pool would have overflowed. Again...ZERO communication. It's been just over a year since the pool was constructed, and the pool itself has been fine and we've had no problems so far. Someone from Presidential Pools met us and showed us how to operate the pump, etc. However, I think it's important to note that our neighbor just had Presidential Pools install a pool in their yard. I was interested in seeing how long it would take. It actually WAS about a 3-week job, so I have no idea why ours took 3 months...However, since the pool's installation about 6 weeks ago, the Presidential Pool guys have been back several times - their trucks have frequently been parked on the curb. I don't exactly know what the problem is, but our neighbor was complaining to us that he had a lot of water leaking out of the ground, until his entire patio area was underwater. Presidential Pools was the least expensive route, but we would not use them again, mostly due to poor communication and an overall sense of a lack of caring about their customers. UPDATE: I'm happy to report that after reading my review, Presidential Pool's president, James, called and we discussed the communication issues I experienced with the company. He acknowledged that communication is something they're working on, and I believe he's sincere about that. I will state again that I have no complaints about the pool...it's been great. No problems whatsover and they were reasonably priced. Obviously, Presidential Pools is working to improve their customer communication, which as far as I can tell, is their only problem. I have to admit that while I thought I was through with Presidential Pools, after speaking with James, I would definitely consider them for our next pool installation.

This was a large and well thought out project. We had a pretty good idea of what we were looking for and Sean Keogh at Presidential Outdoor Environments listened to all of our thoughts and ideas, using them as a base to build a plan from. Sean has great creativity and was easily able to bring the project to life with a drawing during our initial meeting. We were impressed with what we saw and the financial seemed very fair, so we decided to proceed with Presidential on the project. The original project changed many times at our request and Sean and Pat happily worked with us throughout the process. As the work progressed, we liked what we saw and added on several additional projects to the original paver patio and pool decking plan including adding a nearly 5000 sq. ft. paver driveway project and some additional paver areas. Sean, Pat and their crews followed through on their commitments and have also happily taken care of the few minor warranty items that have arisen in the year since the project was completed. Based on our excellent experience, I highly recommend Presidential Outdoor Environments.

After getting quotes from at least 6 pool builders we selected Presidential to build our pool. Presidential was one of the last companies we met with, as I had a misconception that they were likely too expensive. When we did meet with them, we were very pleasantly surprised that their prices were very competitive and pleased that they were interested in our earning our business. The salesman we worked with was Mike Tierney; he was great to work with and very open to the many ideas we threw at him. Mike is very knowledgeable and provided excellent advice regarding the many decisions we needed to make regarding options such as lighting, pump, filter, etc... We had a pool built previously by another major pool builder several years ago, so we had some experience in the process and felt like we knew what to expect. Our experience with Presidential far exceeded our previous pool building experience and we really felt like they did a great job overall. The pool was built last summer (finished in August 2011), but I wanted to wait to write my report in order to be able to review Presidential on their follow up and warranty service, etc... We have had only a couple minor warranty items come up and they addressed them quickly. The building process went as planned and according to schedule. The project manager was Nick Luedtke. Nick kept us up to date during the entire process, was responsive and easy to work with. Based on our experience, I would recommend Presidential without hesitation; in fact, based on our experience we also went with Presidential Outdoor Environments to handle the landscaping portion of our project. We had a great experience with that side of the Presidential business as well and I will leave a separate review on that project.

Overall, we are very pleased with Presidential's work and the results. They provided the most detailed estimate of all the companies we compared. They provided alternative designs to help finalize our vision. Their work was excellent and their people were very professional, responsive, and great to work with. They completed the pool, hardscape, and landscaping on budget and on time. We would definitely recommend them.
