NELSON GLASS

The technician was supposed to come measure windows between 11-1. Did not show up or call throughout the day; we called them 3 times and they gave no apology or explanation other than he got delayed at another job. Waited until 3:30 and then we told them never mind. We went with someone else; would not recommend them.

The service went okay. We did have a few glitches along the way. When they were installing the replacement panel for the window it was cracked during installation. They had to come back out and replace it a second time. They were able to take care of the issue the second time. The shower door installation wet very smoothly. The technicians who came out for both jobs were professional and prompt. I never had any difficulties contacting and scheduling the company. They were very responsive.

They did a nice job and I think it was Nelson Glass. It is interesting that actually I called my insurance company and they recommended one fellow. What happened was that he was going to collect the in-between money and contract it out to somebody else and I decided not to take him. They did a nice job too. They measured accurately, brought the thing out and put it in. The insurance paid part of it. They are 'A's. They were good, they were very good. I have no problem with them. Yes, 'A's for every one of the categories. The price was better than some. It was almost as good as one or two of the others. There was a price that was a little bit lower than theirs but we decided to go with them because the other one I didn't like some of the telephone responses.

I brought the doors of a built-in china cabinet to the Nelson Glass office. The office staff was attentive and got me all set up after I chose the sample I wanted them to use. She ordered the glass the same day (Monday). They cut the glass, installed it and sealed it with silicone. After a day to cure, I was called for the pick-up. The doors look beautiful and I appreciate how hard they worked to get the job done the same week.

Great great. I called in one day and was given a quote. The representative explained the options available and gave advice on which way to go. I was told somebody would be out at noon the next day. The crew arrived exactly when scheduled and had all the materials needed. Work done quickly, neatly and price was as quoted. Nice folks to do business with.
