NE Cor Val Vista & Guadalupe

I called the Val Vista store to inquire about the purchasing and installation of a pool pump. I spoke with KEN. As I was asking about the specific model I was interested in, he cut me off and asked my last name. Then did the same for my first name. When I asked him why he would need that, he said " I cannot give you a price without a name, do you want the quote or not?" . (Verbatim) I responded by saying, "you sound rude Ken, could you at least try to be nicer?. He then responded with simply, " I still need your name, do you want the price or not?" I responded by saying that I was unimpressed by his lack of customer service, and planned to complain to his manager about the incident. I have purchased a great deal of supplies from Leslies over the past several years, but this experience will gladly make me go elsewhere from now on. Shame that Leslies would hire such an unprofessional and rude employee. I would hope that they could do much better.
