Monarch Roofing was one of 10 companies that we called, and one of the few who could be bothered to call back. They were punctual with appointments, fair with their pricing and efficient with their installation. We had no problems with either the work quality, choice of materials or the pricing. It was a seamless job done well (not so for the other roofing company we had the misfortune to deal with, Lyon Roofing - see my review here as well for them). We even had to have them come back to fix an error from Lyon Roofing, and while coordinating with Monarch was an extra step and took extra time, Mr Hawkins was good about returning calls in a timely way.

All work performed as per contract or better.
Crew was polite and professional.
There were two delays: one because the supplier ran out of the ordered tile and had to have more manufactured; and two, because the lead roofer broke his foot playing soccer.
Time from contract to final inspection 55 days. From agreed start to cleanup, about 24 days. A rainstorm occurred in the middle of this, but their crew was prepared and protected the house. Not a drop.
The contract provided for NO money down, all due AFTER a walk-around inspection by the contractor and us. He showed up for this about a week after completion of all the work.
We cannot determine the waterproofing ability of the new roof, because it hasn't rained since completion.
We are more than satisfied with the project, the honesty, communication and professionalism, and the quality of workmanship. A very pleasant experience, in spite of the delays. Highly recommended.
