Phone representative was pleasant and helpful. They were only one of two providers that can offer same day service on a last minute notice. This much I appreciate. The technician was punctual, helpful and answered all my questions. I only have two things that brought down the overall review. First has to do with quality. Tech slightly scratched my garage wall in taking out the old spring. Also, he was dragging his ladder on my epoxy painted garage floor. Second issue is that they will only allow the Angie's list discount if I paid for a Service Call, despite having the work done. Their reasoning is that they can only give either a free service call or discount, but not both. This was not explained when I set up the appointment, especially since I mentioned that I found them through Angie's list. I've hired other contractors that never charge a service call just because I have shown another discount coupon. The discount was not much more than the Service Call charge, thus negating any discount. I shouldn't have to pay for their trip cost to my property for work that they were paid for.

Door has worked perfectly since the adjustment. Found our the previous repair person had installed the wrong size spring but it is working well enough.

Matt was very prompt and efficient. In fact he was running a little early and asked if he could come early which wasn't a problem. He examined the door and made a couple of minor suggestions beyond what we had called him for (a diagnosis of the door, not a pressure sell). Honest, professional, and trustworthy. Highly recommend if you are looking for reliable and fair give him a call.

The service visit went excellent! I knew something was wrong - but didn't know quite what it was... I obviously got the expert that walked me through the issue and fixed it on the spot - for what I thought was a fair price. Problem solved! I'd hire again! Thank you!

Matt was very punctual and very professional. He was quite knowledgeable and I was very pleased with the results. I have scheduled him to come back out and replace the hinges on my door as well on another call! I am definitely using him again!! Great service!!

Our door broke on a Saturday morning and they were able to come fix it within an hour. Great service, super helpful and friendly. Would definitely use again.

Besides the roller replacement, lube and tune-up, Matt adjusted the clutch on the garage door opener and replaced the limit switch (($10.00) as the opener motor in the past had continued to run for a second or two after the door closed. He safety checked the door to ensure anyone hit by the door as it closed would not be injured, i.e., that the door would immediately roll back up. All in all, a great job!

Everything was completed per the Angie's list coupon ($69.00 Everything was done per the coupon ($69,00). Matt also checked the door closure to ensure it would not hurt anyone if they were hit as he door closed, i.e., that it would immediately roll back up. He also adjusted the door opener clutch and replaced the front stop contact so the opener motor would not continue to run for a second or two after the door actually closed as it has done several times in the past. The cost for the contact replacement was $10.00. All in all, a job well done!

Matt arrived on time and unlike other service providers I've contracted with on Angie's List, was o.k. with coming out to my rather remote location on a Saturday. He recommended a few repairs I needed which I agreed to. I ended up with a new door (almost). I have a builder grade door with one spring and Matt suggested that I replace one spring with two. I intend to have him out again to do exactly that. Matt has a can do attitude and is very easy to talk to.

Magnum Garage Doors, LLC was very professional. They sent a technician out the same day and I was very happy the technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I would definitely use them again if I had any issues with my garage door.

Matt arrived early, after calling to make sure that was okay. I was able to make an appointment and have him out here all in the same morning. The other provider I tried to contact still hasn't returned my message, and the work is already done! He was quick to get everything running smoothly and explained things thoroughly after the work was completed. If I ever have issues with my door again, this is the guy I'm calling.

My appointment was scheduled quickly. Matt let me know when he was on the way, arrived on time, explained what needed to be done. Completed the work quickly, with high quality. Helped me get set up with the app and showed me how to use it. The price was fair and included multiple discounts. I recommend Matt, and would hire him again.

Magnum was the only vendor out of 6 that called us back. They apologized for not being able to fix it that Sunday but would come first thing on Monday. We managed to get the door open - my wife holds several AZ weight lifting awards. The technician said the springs were undersized for the door. I asked him to replace with the right size and to replace all the rollers with high quality rollers. He had several types on his truck. The job was done in record time. The doors work great. The springs are hefty and are perfectly balanced. Great job. I would use again.

I was considering purchasing the garage door tune-up, as it was very reasonably priced and I thought it might fix my glitch. I called, first, to discuss what was happening with the door. Matt asked me several questions and had me try a few things. He was able to diagnose the problem with my door opener (circuit board issue) and taught me a work-around for the problem, all over the phone. He said that he likes to save people money. I believe him. It was excellent customer service. So, far, there has been no charge for his assistance. My current opener is too old to make a repair worthwhile. The 18 year old garage door opener is functional, again, thanks to Matt. However, if I choose to replace the unit, he will complete the work for $335 (including 1 remote).

Matt arrived ahead of schedule and quickly got to work replacing the broken spring and replacing the other one that had not failed yet. In addition he inspected the rest of the system and identified and addressed an issue that was present from the time the door was replaced (about 7 years ago). He was very thorough and lubed and adjusted the opener settings as well. Note this was a record hot day in PHX.

Matthew is very knowledgable and is a true mechanic. He also demonstrates a true knowledge of technology. I am getting older and I forget stuff, like is my garage door shut. He programmed our phones with the Liftmaster to allow us to open or close our doors from anywhere. He called to let me know when he would be here. He arrived before our scheduled appointment. He is solution minded and enjoys his craft. You will be happy you hired him.
