Description of Work: They gave me an estimate on replacing several hose bibs, but said it was not necessary and ended up just removing two backflow preventers which were defective (cheaper), which I can replace myself.

Description of Work: Paid $915 coupon covering cost of a water heater replacement typically costing $1015. When they arrived they identified that my installation required a special direct vent water heater costing approximately $1000 more than the standard unit included in the coupon. They obtained the special unit and installed the water heater professionally and completed the work in one day. Was satisfied with the work done by Lawson, although a little disappointed at the higher price (heater cost ~ $1600). In the future I will try to maintain water heater by servicing the sacrificial anode to maximize its life.

Description of Work: I needed to move a soft water unit outside asap and Lawson's Family Plumbing was able to send someone out within a few hours. Steve was careful and considerate of my home and my soft water unit. I liked that the serviceman wore a uniform with an ID tag. I rated the price as B just because it was a little more than I had expected, but based on their prompt attention and good service, I would say I paid a fair price. I would definitely call this plumbing company again for service.

Description of Work: Lawson Family plumbing is amazing. I asked 4 different plumbers the same question and all came up with different answers. Lawson however gave me the first and best answer. They offered to give me a call and get clarification on the issue so that they could talk through my options. Everyone else just wanted to send a tech and get me paying. | |I worked with Toni and Aubrey in their scheduling department who were very quick to respond to my inquiries. I then spoke with Mike on the phone about my issue and he was able to give me some direction and possible fixes including an estimated quote (hard to do site unseen!) When I called to schedule Mike was unfortunately booked until the following week, but they found another technician Randall who came out same day and early to boot(he called first to confirm this was okay)! He looked over my issues very thoroughly and diagnosed the problem right away. He showed me every thing he replaced and also compared it to what they should look like. It was really easy to see that he was not trying to scam me in any way. He updated me every-step on what he was doing and held a light-hearted conversation during the whole time. At one point during the fix we had to wait for the water heater to drain and he took the opportunity to fix some of the copper piping that had been done shoddily by someone else. |He managed to do all of this while meeting the quoted price! | |While our issue is still occurring (smelly hot water) Randall gave me an action plan that is well worth trying. He replaced the anode which was completely deteriorated and could be the issue. Only other solution is to replace the entire unit. However the initial cost will not go wasted as I was told the first service will be credited to a new installation if we have to go that route (within 30days). Description of Work: I had a huge problem with my toilets and my outside sprinkler system. It took all day to rebuild my toilets and fix the problem with the sprinkler system, but it was taken care of very professionally. The cost was lower than anywhere else and the results are wonderful! I have new plumbing that isn't cheaply manufactured and will last for a very long time. I am going on over a year now and no complainants!

Description of Work: replaced hot water heater per the angie's list deal. Offered additional service of a drip pan and new value that was needed. These extras added to the cost and together the good deal wasn't so good.

Description of Work: The pilot light was out on my water heater. He checked for any leaks,saw none, then relit it. He told me to keep an eye on it, check for any water leaking and gave me the price of installing a new one if needed.
