I had an irrigation leak that needed to be repaired in the front yard of a house I recently purchased and I wanted to learn how to use the timer better so I purchased the Comprehensive Sprinkler Evaluation Deal. Lance was great! He was very patient when I wanted to reschedule (more than once!) because it was raining or the ground was too soaked to easily see if there were any other leaks that might show up. Lance checked everything out and helped me understand how the system works. He fixed the leak, showed me how the timer works and the best settings to use. Reasonable price and Lance was great! He was thorough, fast, efficient and very pleasant to work with.

Came when he said. Did what he said he would do. Finished on time. Cleaned up. Meets our expectations

Water flooded the area. Lance had to turn off the water to the house and dig all around the broken valve in order to replace it. Fortunately he only needed to dig down about 2 inches but it was a lot of labor. He replaced the valve and turned the water back on to make sure there weren't any leaks. He then replaced the dirt and granite so that it was hard to tell that any work had been done.

Lance came on time and provided excellent service and advice. He explained everything he was doing and why. He gave me sound advice for future problems that could occur. I highly recommend him if you have problems with your sprinkler system.

Lance arrived at the specified time on the date we agreed on. He started work right away on the valves while waiting for the other workers. When the other workers arrived, they went right to work digging the trenches for the new swing pipe to all plants and trees (front and back yards). The new pipe was placed in the trenches and new emitters were installed. This sounds really easy but it did take quite a bit of time. When all was installed, they tested the system to make sure there were no leaks. I made a few suggestions in the back yard since I have a dog who likes to chew on the emitters. They made a couple of changes. I was satisfied with the work performed. The workers cleaned up after themselves and left everything as they found it. If anything is amiss, they assured me they would return to fix any problems.

Lance was very professional and prompt in providing the estimate for rebuilding my system. He and his workers arrived exactly on time and did an excellent job, including the clean-up afterwards. Would definitely recommend!

Called IRS and left a message. Received a response within the hour. Lance arrived at the time scheduled. Completed required service quickly. I can tell he is very knowledgable. Very happy with the service. Will use IRS in the future.

I called Lance after a T joint in my irrigation system failed and flooded my yard. His response was prompt and he was able to schedule my service for the next day. Our controller had been working intermittently for about 6 months so I figured it would be a good time to have him check it out as well. Lance showed up at the time he said he would. He looked over the system and determined what the issues where and what the fix would be. He was very thorough in describing exactly what the cost would be, and what the warranty would cover. After I approved the work he got busy and fixed the problems. After the T joint and controller were repaired Lance checked our system and his repairs. The repairs were completed as advertised. In the course of looking the system over a few additional leaks were discovered. He showed me the leaks and gave me an estimate for the additional repairs. He completed these repairs as well. After all was completed Lance took the time to help me identify which valves controlled what zones and how to properly program my controller (it's a new house, so I had yet to figure it out). I would highly recommend IRS if you are looking for an honest company that does good work. I will certainly use IRS again in the future.

Vince arrived exactly on time, went right to work, and did the job with no extra nonsense. when my wife asked him about several leaks in the system, he located the leak and fixed it immediately, with no nonsense.

Lance was very punctual and set up the service call within minutes of me getting off of the phone with my home warranty company. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient with my questions. Worked very accurately in this summer heat. Overall very good experience. When we are able to do work in our yards (other than repairs) we'll use him!

Lance kept in touch with us to arrange the work we wanted. On his initial visit, he let us know some of the previous work that needed to be corrected by the people that did (or didn't do) that job. Once that was done, he and his crew did a great job. Lance made sure everything was done properly by his crew. The crew was friendly and efficient. We will definitely use them again.

Lance and his crew did a wonderful job. They rebuild the valves, added a new zone so that I have a separate line for shrubs and for trees, added pressure regulators so that the emitters at the end of the 200' run put out as much water as those at the beginning, and added 3 clean out valves. The crew dug very deep trenches and cleaned things up so well that one would never know that a new system had been installed. I live in Phoenix, and they did this excellent work in 105-6 degree temperatures. To top things off, Lance took photographs of all the trenches, before the granite was raked back over them. I was amazed at his attention to detail. I think he is the best irrigation specialist in Arizona!

Lance has earned his rightful spot on my list of "Peeps." This is my list of keepers~~best dentist, best mechanic, best hairstylist, best lawn care maintenance...he is now my best irrigation dude, and I feel so lucky that my lawn care guy (Chris Abbott, the Plugman) referred him to me. Lance is prompt, conscientious, friendly and fair, and he is an expert at what he does. I highly recommend him.

Lance is one of the most efficient workers you will ever meet - even in the heat. The man is a machine. Don't expect to chat away with him; he is all business and the clock is ticking. He doesn't waste your time or money - just gets to the root of the problem, troubleshoots, forewarns you of the potential pitfalls, and costs and then does the repair. For those of you out there with a ten year old system, consider using Lance and his team to give you a new one. While I am sure that he'd love to keep repairing new leaks as they pop up, there comes a time when you just have to be smart about investing in a brand new system and looking at the ROI. Irrigation Repair Systems is the way to go - and they also install new lighting.

It only took Lance 15 min. to find the problem and fix it. The landscaper who installed the backyard drip irrigation never connected the wire inside the control box. He reduced the estimated price because it was a simple thing to diagnose and fix.

For the most part my appointment was positive. Lance was able to install a new irrigation timer, he had the correct timer with him and was able to install on the spot. I give A for that service. I'm rating the price a B, due to other companies on Angie's list offering the same service as this Deal. This price is in the middle. I've seen other companies offering the same deal for much less & some slightly higher. Where I'm not as happy was with the inspection of my irrigation system. I had emailed Lance prior to purchasing the $89 Angie's Deal. I explained that I had recently bought my house, and there had been many breaks in the system, and wanted someone thoroughly inspect the system, check for additional leaks. Having no clue the condition of the system, I really wanted it inspected thoroughly. One sprinkler head was not spraying correctly. Lance told me it was because the grass was too high, to mow the grass and that would fix the situation. So That weekend I mowed my grass to the lowest setting on my mower, and turned on the system, the sprinkler head still was not spraying correctly. I ended up calling a person that had done minor repairs for me in the past, the sprinkler head was not popping up properly, he replaced the broken sprinkler head. Which is working now. I wanted to find out if there is a way to determine if there were more minor breaks in the system in the granite area, as I think there are. After the system has run through the entire cycle, areas in the DG look to be slightly damp, where there are no sprinkler heads near the area, Maybe this can't be done, short of digging out the lines. My system only has three zones, one zone has both plants and trees in both front & back yard on the same zone, so I wasn't sure the best way to set up the drip system for all the different plants. I also was wanting a professional irrigation company help me to determine the correct drip&/or spray heads for my newly planted trees, and how long I should set the system to water. The Nursery tells you many days & gallons the trees need, I wasn't sure how to set the system long using flag dippers (should there be more flag drip heads), or if I should change to mini-sprayers to get the recommended amount of water for the newly planted palms

Lance was fantastic! He was very professional and courteous on the phone and called each time before he came out. The work he did was great, and our system is now functioning like new.
