GIOVANNI'S UPHOLSTERY

I am very pleased with Giovanni's Upholstery! Every step was professional, pleasant and enjoyable. The end result was gorgeous! I was greeted with a cheery good morning by each employee that came into the showroom. I felt very welcome and appreciated, something you don't get a lot of these days. There is a feeling of comradery and well being...I was energized by the positivity in their shop! I wasn't rushed at all and they were extremely thorough with the paperwork and what I wanted. All in all, I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. This is the way everyone should run their businesses. Kudos! I will be a customer for life! Well done and thanks so much!

Excellent. Giovanni was a true professional. I started out wanting to have our sofa Upholstered. My husband and I ended up needing to cancel the project. They did an excellent job of refilling our cushions to sofa. Giovanni was very kind through all of our changes. Most people would have grown impatient. Giovanni seemed to take it in stride. The new cushions made our Lee Sofa brand new! This is a very reputable family business. Excellent in every way.

We knew the chairs were well made, but needed recovering. Checked Angieslist for locally owned business with a good reputation. Giovanni's Upholstery had excellent ratings; I want to add my high rating to the others for this fine, family owned and run business deserves. The atmosphere in the shop is relaxed but professional; they have a good selection of fabrics and excellent sage advice - from pictures of the chairs they were able to accurately estimate the amount of fabric needed. We were helped by Giovanni's son who guided us through the process, came the next day to pick up the chairs and in a scant two weeks delivered them back to us. If there is such a thing as retail therapy, then Giovanni and his son are a Doctors of Fantastic Customer Service and Charm. The quality of the work was perfect; they even stained the wooden bun feet on two of the chairs. They accept checks (to escape the nasty fees that card companies charge). Frankly, if you have a favorite or valuable piece that needs recovering, I don't believe there could be a better place in the Valley.

The whole experience couldn't have gone any better. The work was completed early and when it arrived it was like getting a Christmas gift in May. The slipcover was beautiful & the couch had totally been transformed.

Giovanni was a pleasure to work with. I had a settee reupholstered after the cats had their way with it. First he gave me an estimate from a text picture I sent him. Then he came to my home with a large selection of fabrics. He was very upfront about the cost of each fabric. After selection he promised me a cost, time of completion, and he took the settee for repair. He met his deadline and cost with no surprises. The work was top notch. I recommend his services.

He kept his appointment, came on time as promised, helped us with choosing a fabric and called immediately his supplier to clarify the info regarding the fabric. Job took 3 weeks as he said. We examined closely his job and we were very satisfied.We would highly recommend him to our friends.

They did a beautiful job matching the plaid fabric and they cleaned the wood part of the chair expertly! I could not be more pleased !

My grandmothers’ antique chairs were in need of repair of the wood as well as the upholstery which was torn and the stuffing falling out. The wood legs had been chewed on by my daughter’s puppy! Giovanni came to my home to look over the chairs, and had lots of fabric samples from which to choose. He give me a very fair estimate. After refinishing, they look beautiful! The wood had been smoothed and polished, the padding was replaced, and the new fabric is beautiful. The precision of matching the pattern of the fabric to each chair was perfect. The quality of the work was excellent. I even asked for an extra piece of fabric to cover a pillow to match. Giovanni asked if I had the pillow form I planned to use, which I did, and he offered to make the pillow cover. He did a much better job than I would have done, and only charged me an additional $10.00 Wow! I highly recommend Giovanni. He is very polite, professional, and a true craftsman.

I called him and told him what I wanted to do. He gave me a guesstimate over the phone. He then came to my house the next day and gave me a fixed price. We discussed what updating needed to be done and how I wanted them to look. He took the chairs and promised them back in 4 weeks. He delivered the 2 chairs in 3 weeks. They are beautiful. When he delivered them I was blown away......speechless. I would recommend him to everyone.

It was great! My couch looks brand new. He finished his work in a very quick manner and he is a nice man! He is also reasonably priced and very professional!
