 + -1 moreThe house was painted on the date agreed upon, however, the crew used the same sprayer gun for the trim color as for the base color causing the house to have varying shades of base paint. When the issue was pointed out to the on-sight crew, it was explained that the paint was "still wet" and would dry to match. It didn't and we were stuck with a house painted with three shades of paint. The owner (Chad) was contacted several times, however, never made good on his promise to correct the problem. A complaint was filed with the Better Business Bureau in 2006. The owners never replied to the complaint resulting in a "unsatisfactory" mark on Forte Painting's record.
Description of Work: Our family contracted with Chad S. and Forte painting to paint the exterior of our home based on the recommedations of our HOA.

 + -1 moreChad gave us a discount because 2 family homes were painted. His crew was without a single English speaker. This made communication virtually impossible. They did a good job and it was the lowest bid, but Chad never showed up after the initial bid. It was frustrating trying to ask questions, voice concerns when it has to be done through gestures. I didn't realize we might need to hire a translator to get through the job.
Description of Work: Chad's crew painted the exterior of our home.

 + -1 moreI called Forte's number several times and got a recording asking me to enter their number. Each time I did that it would not go through. The 4th time I called an answering service did answer and I left my information for a call back to get an estimate. I was told that Chad would call me the following day. I never got a call back and did not call again.

 + -1 moreWe don't like it when people don't call us back. If they can't do the job we accept that, but at least return the phone call.
Description of Work: It took them three days to return the call. They said they had other work in our area so they would stop by but we've never heard from them again.

 + -1 moreFORTE'S ESTIMATE WAS ACCURATE. THEIR WORK WAS EXCELLENT AND QUITE THOROUGH. CHAD WAS A GREAT COMMUNICATOR. HE WORKED WITH US WHEN WE HAD TO RESCHEDULE A START DATE. HE COMPLETED THE WORK ON TIME.
Description of Work: CLEANED, REPAIRED, PRIMED AND PAINTED TWO COATS ON THE OUTSIDE OF OUR HOME.
