Elevation Solar

Elevation Solar installed our 9.7 kW system in 2021 at a cost of $26,050. In 2024, we hired Elevation to remove/reinstall the system around a reroof. They charged $6750 for it. The scheduling was done in mid-September for removal in late Oct and reinstallation on Nov 4. In order to get Elevation to commit to the dates, they required full payment up front. The removal was on schedule. On Nov 4, a guy showed up, but soon rang the doorbell. Despite my saying in my original phone call that the roof was being replaced, the tech hadn't brought all the necessary tools/supplies. He'd have to come back. I called Elevation to ask when they'd return and I was told I'd get a date tomorrow. Every day for a week I was told the same: tomorrow. Finally, a week after the Nov 4, I was given a new date: December 20. I escalated the case to a manager. He was unable to offer anything better. I said I wanted a refund for the second half. He was willing, but asked for a day to try to schedule a better date. He also said that having anyone else reinstall it would void my warranty with Elevation. This is exactly the opposite of what the Elevation customer service rep told me when I called preliminarily when I was researching roofers, to see if I could have another company do it. I was told, "no problem, that would not void your warranty." The next day, the manager called and said he was able to get Dec 6 and 9. I considered, and I did want to keep the warranty, so I agreed. On Dec 6, a crew worked a full day. On Dec 9, a smaller crew arrived and worked until mid-afternoon. Then a tech rang the doorbell to say they were done for the day, that the panels were not installed, and that Elevation would call me to schedule. I just called to find out when I can be rescheduled, and again I'm told it will be 24-48 hours before they can give me a date. I have no recourse because I cannot hire anyone else to do the job without voiding the warranty. I've already paid in full, but I am completely at their whim for scheduling. Iâ ve been losing about $100/week on electricity, between my excess generation credits and all the grid power.

Whole project was well run and efficient. Good communication and best value. Elevation was the lowest bidder but their job had the most content and highest value.

Our inverter box stopped working a month ago. We called to report it. A technician was supposed to come & replace it 1 1/2 months later. We got a call from head guy at Solar Elevation saying our box was accidentally taken & put in another house. Juan was supposed to call us back to let us know if he had located another one. We left a message per text & called the office & spoke to the secretary & we still havenâ t heard from him. Very disappointed after we paid quite a bit for solar panels. We just want an answer!

Elevation Solar made me aware of rebates, which other companies did not. They even processed the rebates lowering my out-of-pocket expense. They were quick to respond and followed through to the end of the insulation project.

The whole process was better than expected. Luc's explanations and information were very helpful and he was very responsive. The insulation install team was also very knowledgeable and performed the work and cleanup in a professional manner. They also did a through Energy Audit and handled that rebate along with the insulation rebate on my behalf with APS. I have also received a call from the Quality Insurance Inspection group who will come out and inspect Elevation's work to make sure that it is up to the standards of the APS Home Performance Program. Just haven't had time to schedule yet. The cost was also a factor in my choice, and I think it was extremely fair. I would definitely recommend Elevation Solar for Insulation upgrades.

Luc was easy to work with as well as the installation crew. Kept me informed with progress of the project.

The sales manager Luc and the attic insulation install team, Javier, Lance and David all went above and beyond our expectations to complete the job. We like the fact that they did a duct and air test on our system and corrected problems found. The team was informative and answered all our questions. We would highly recommend Elevation.

From the phone calls to the installation team, everyone was very professional and informative. I also appreciate they were respectful of our requests during the process, as my wife has cats and needed to make sure no insulation was going to end up in the house nor would they happen to escape during the process when the tested the seals in the house.

They were very communicative, they got us all of the current rebates through srp. Their price was good and they didn’t try to upsell us on any products. Compared to another company they listed many line items as “extra costs” this was all included in the quote with elevation solar. We are very happy with the result.

Showed up on time, did a very nice job, cleaned up the work area and was completely finished in a couple of hours. Would certainly hire Elevation again if the need arises

Luc communicated in an exceptional manner with us.

Installed in August and they did not start working until January, but are only producing less than 50% of what they should be. I went back and looked and my call history and I have placed over 30 calls and still waiting for a tech to come out to figure out what is wrong. They are great until they get it installed. If you ever have anything wrong though they do not give a dang. I still have not heard from them, I gave them a call back, they said they would return but I have yet to hear from them.

I would highly recommend this company they are easy to work for and provide the best value for your money overall. I worked with Luc Lester on the bid, timing, and questions I had. They did a duct seal test first to ensure the system had no leaks and sealed up any leaks found. Overall outstanding!
