Checklist Inspections

The inspector did not catch that the tile file had numerous hollow tiles. A floor cleaning company less than 2 months later noticed that there were numerous hollow tiles when cleaning the floor. Approximately 1 1/2 years later I had tiles start popping up so I had to have the tile replaced in the entire house. This was an expensive and messy endeavor. If the inspector had done his job, I would have either walked away from the house or asked for a reduction in the purchase price. I would never use this company for a home inspection!

Buying a historic home takes time and patience. Having a knowledgeable person going thru the home with a fine-toothed combed really set our mind at ease. John spent 4 hours at the home looking over every inch and provided the written report fast! He spend an additional 1.5 hours going over the concerns at the property. You can get a cheaper inspector, but if you have a "special house", it's worth every penny! You get what you pay for with Checklist Inspections!

Inspection was very thorough and detailed. Findings were easy to understand and pictures were used to visualize the findings. The inspector walked us through everything he did and answered all of our questions. Report was very complete and easy to read. Great job!

The inspection went extremely well. The exit interview explained all the defects identified and where I had a question they explained it to my satisfaction and actually showed me why and where it was a defect. JJ was very thorough in his inspection and took the time to explain in detail and provided a written report with pictures to insure my complete understanding of the defect. Without a doubt JJ was very professional and knowledgable about construction and building codes to insure that nothing was missed.
