B Line Movers

I honestly hate posting bad reviews (the majority of my reviews are overwhelmingly positive) but this experience was so terrible I felt compelled to share. The owner completely underquoted me. Gave me false information. Damaged our property. And was unbelievably rude and went on the attack when I pointed these things out. He and his team also have zero accountability. He was a referral from my Real Estate Agent so I didn't even look at his negative reviews on Yelp. My mistake. We hired B-Line movers to move us from Chandler to Queen Creek. This is what Bobby quoted me: "This will be done in 2 TRIPS with FOUR MOVERS and one 26 foot truck for a discounted rate of $235/hr, plus a $150 service fee, with a two hour minimum.". I don't recall him saying it would be $2,500 but even if he did that was the quote when everything was in our house. Before they came to pack us up we had moved 90% of the kitchen, 90% of our closets and made a dozen trips with packed cars to move stuff over. How the price ended up still being $2,500 when we moved 30% of our house over ourselves is beyond me. Either he low balled me or gave me a bad quote. But in Bobby's world you're not supposed to stick up for yourself and call him out. Apparently he thinks its malicious to post a truthful bad review. Our move actually ended up taking three trips (not two like he quoted) so of course I was charged for the extra time. And, we only got 3 movers (not four as quoted) so of course its going to take longer. And then the last two hours we only had two movers. Despite the frustrations of how the move was going we were incredibly nice to the movers. I absolutely did introduce myself to all of them and shook each one of the guys hands. Gave them water throughout the day. Even bought them $40 worth of In and Out burgers for lunch. It wasn't until after the move when I was discussing my frustrations with Bobby on speaker phone and the movers jumped in and started to harass me along with Bobby so they lost their $200 tips. Bobby has every excuse in the book when you question him any issue. When I questioned him he told me I was the rudest person he'd ever dealt with and that I was a piece of work. He actually said that when he thought he was just talking to his mover on the phone. He didn't realize he was on speaker phone until his mover said, "Bobby you're still on speaker phone." When I told him how displeased we were he said "well you were unhappy with your last movers so obviously the problem is you not me." They broke the base of one of our dressers (which was only 6 months old) so now it completely wobbles and needs to be replaced. When I questioned them they said well its not solid wood so ..... (really?). They damaged our "Sleep Number Bed". Crumpled it up in the move so when they moved it or grabbed the sides to put it back on the bed they tore the foam that frames the bed. The torn foam is literally right on the edges where someone placed their hands on it to pick it up. Of course they denied that. Contrary to his belief that they didn't unzip it, they actually did. You have to do that to set the tubing back up. The only reason I realized the foam was ripped was because they put the bed together wrong and it was not airing up properly. I had to open the mattress zipper up to fix where they had plugged in the mattress wrong. That's when I saw the ripped foam. And I can assure you it wasn't like that before they moved it. But again zero accountability. They threw things together with no packing paper so other things got damaged. And then even apologized on the box in marker. You can't make this stuff up. (see pics). You know I can get past things getting damaged but the attitude that the owner has is pure contempt for anyone who complains about anything. I'm sure he will come on here and deny all of this but there's really no reason for me to spend the time writing a bad review if it didn't happen. Do yourself a favor and find someone to move your stuff that isn't going to low ball you and is actually accountable for damage or at the very least not rude. I definitely WOULD NOT recommend B-Line Movers in any capacity given the way we were treated. UPDATE: As you can see from the owners response to my review, he's proved all my points. Condescending; check. Rude; check. Lack of accountability; check. And given the comment about the self help books; vindictive. What owners like him don't realize is people read the bad reviews to see how owners react. He did all the things you're not supposed to do in responding to a negative review. Going on the attack, being condescending, not being accountable, and lying about the facts. As a customer if I saw a business owner immediately go to insulting a customer I would not even think about doing business with someone like that. Its very short sighted on his part and shows his true self. Hope these comments have saved some people from dealing with this business and rude owner.

We had the best experience with B line movers this week ! Bobby answered all of my neurotic calls and questions before the move. Then Jason and Robbie executed the move flawlessly !! The guys worked quickly and efficiently, were extremely polite .. and we were very comfortable having them in our home ( old home AND new Home ). Without B Line Movers, this move would have been much more difficult - they took all of our stress away. Thank you !!!!l

Arrived on time and did the job professionally and efficiently. Just what we needed. No problems.

Bobby went the extra mile to help us out when we had to reschedule, due to problems with the moving truck we rented. The movers, John and David were punctual, polite and professional. They took great care to ensure our walls and stair railings weren't damaged. And despite the extreme weight of our furniture, took measures to ensure that no damage occurred. All of the friends we had at our residence the day of the move commented on what a great job the movers were doing. I highly recommend this company to anyone moving.

Amazing job!!! The gentlemen who helped us move last weekend were prompt, courteous, and very efficient. I would absolutely use them again. Highly recommend!
