Description of Work: It is how they handle problems that I think determines quality. There was a problem, but it was handled with excellent results. I had some windows replaced. It was required to break the windows to get them out. The crew did not do a great job of checking for, or cleaning up glass shards and I didn't check before the crew left. When I discovered the problem, I called the company. They sent someone on the following day that went above and beyond to clean up any glass both inside and outside. I was very pleased with their response to my problem and the overall service.

Description of Work: They installed a front door, had to come back when the screws holding the door hinges started coming out. They reinstalled the door, but left the frame molding with all the nail holes showing. Not sure I'd use them again.

Description of Work: We replaced all the 23 windows in our house. This was a major project. We requested that the windows have a nail finish which means the old windows were removed from the stucco and were replaced with the new windows. American Vision was very good in working with us to fix some minor cracking of the stucco after the installation. We are very pleased with our windows and the work done by the American Vision team.

Description of Work: American Vision Windows did an amazing job installing 5 new windows, a new swing door and a new slider. Very professional from start to finish, quick response after every inquiry, everything clearly documented, loved the videos from the owners, professional staff and high quality work. This was a tough and expensive decision but I made the right move using American Vision Windows. The young man (I forget his name) that did the official measurements was meticulous and professional. The three installers (Greg, Miguel and Shawn) were efficient, professional and very hard workers. The only thing I didn't like was when I had Kevin out to give me an "estimate", if I didn't sign on the dotted line right then it would cost me a great deal of money if I did decide to go with them later. That basically corned me into making a decision without getting other estimates, I guess it worked. Other than that, the company was very impressive!

Description of Work: They put in double pained glass in two windows. They were twice the price of all the other windows I had replaces. However their presentation made me believe that they would be worth it. Unfotualely not. The corners of the frame should have been mitered they are not. They are cut horizontally looking unprofessional. The back door to the house was open the whole time they worked and it allowed dozens of flies in as well as air conditioned the outside. Description of Work: Amazing products!! Huge difference!! Installation team was top notch!! Impressed from their arrival to the completion of the whole house in 113 degrees!!!!!!! I have to say I was disappointed that except for a oh by the way here you go card handed to me thanking us for our business by the critical measure we have not heard from our sales guy since..I was impressed with him during his 4 hour (uncommunicated it would take that long) visit with us..we were told a few things that would happen that didn't...overall windows A++++ Installation A+++++++++++++++++++...

Description of Work: The product is very good. Best at the price. However, they planned to be done in one day and it took two. On the second day they sent only one man. He worked very hard and long but was overworked and was more sloppy (poorer workmanship, e.g. Edges did not match and used a lot of wood putty to correct mistakes and left smudges several places). Lastly, stayed in contact re:process until the very end when it was less than ideal. Was told I would have several day notice for installation. Instead they called late in the afternoon and said they would show up at 7:00 AM the next morning. If that was not acceptable,I would have to wait 4-6 weeks.

+ 0 moreAmerican Vision Windows operates out of CA and AZ. When I lived in CA, I needed new windows and doors. I did a lot of research and decided to go with American Vision based on their reputation. In CA as in AZ, the sales rep came out and gave me full understanding of their product and what windows and doors would best fit my needs. There was no hard sales. in AZ, the installation was efficient and professional. The windows were measured and about 2 weeks later the installers came to do the job. On time. All promises to deliver the product were kept. After inspecting the work, I saw a few cosmetic issues and they were fixed promptly and without question. What I like best about this company is their responsiveness to customers. They really do care about providing the best quality product and ensuring top notch quality customer service.
Description of Work: I purchased double paned windows for my home and one sliding door. There were a total of 14 windows: six large windows in the AZ room and 7 windows in the home and a picture window.

+ -1 moreThey were unable to meet what they were supposed to do and so technically they're questionable. But, on business ethics/performance, they were very good. They actually installed the door, but it was the wrong door. Then, the size door that we needed and the finish that we wanted they were unable to provide. Therefore, after a few months of going around and around about different issues, we finally had another door company put in a door and they gave us a full refund. They made a few mistakes along the way, but they stood behind their product and tried to correct them. They didn't jump ship. I'd recommend people be specific with them. They're primarily a window company, and I can't comment on their windows because we didn't do a window, but, my perspective is that perhaps they didn't really get specific enough to begin with so you have to be exact. If both parties are sure they can provide what you need then I'd have no problems about going with them because they are ethical.

+ -1 moreOrdered a double front door, full glass. Had many problems with company - their techs didn't really seem to know what they were doing. Door was supposed to be full glass, chocolate Mahogany with oil rubbed hinges. When door did arrive, the stain job on the door was horrible - hinges were not as ordered and most importantly the door was chocolate oak finish. Turns out they can't provide the door we wanted in the size we needed.

Description of Work: We had American Vision come out to give us an estimate on 16 replacement windows. We had two other bids - Home Depot and Republic West. Decided to go with Republic West.American Vision came out on time. The young gentleman was somewhat professional, but seem to lack some knowledge on the job and requirements. After getting all estimates, and checking BBB, ROC, and Angie's list, we felt more confident with Rep. West.Nothing bad about our experience with the salesman from Amer. Vision.
