About us

Founding owners, husband and wife team Bill and Kathleen, started out as ordinary customers, looking to upgrade their own home with replacement windows and replacement patio doors. Seeking an energy-saving window and door solution, they found a series of poor contractors and a need for an improved service that customers can rely on. Bill and Kathleen felt that they could do it better and they have been revolutionizing the home improvement industry one customer at a time for over 15 years. American Vision Window is now the number one window replacement company in California and Arizona, and service areas include Ventura County, Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Diego County, Greater San Jose Area, and Arizona.

Description of Work: We purchased three vinyl windows to replace inferior 1974 aluminum windows for our home. American Vision was easy to work with and cooperative when we decided to comp[ete our window replacement project in two phases. Their staff was friendly and very experienced. The installers did a great job and cleaned up after the installation inside and out. So far, (3 weeks) we are very happy with our windows. We plan on completing our window project with American Vision

Description of Work: I asked for an estimate for some new windows. I met with Rod Troyer and he was very professional with his presentation. He was articulate, knowledgable and took the time to explain things. Unfortunately, we decided against the windows after a lengthy debate and decided to postpone replacing the windows at this time. But I would recommend Rod to anyone who is interested in window replacements.

Description of Work: They came out to the house, gave us all the information we needed to make a decision on buying a front door. They gave us a dates for taking measurements and were very prompt each time. I was somewhat surprised at how long it took for the door to be built but it followed the timeline the company had given us. The only issue I had with the install which I didn't catch until later was an extra hole drilled that wasn't filled in. It's a bit of an eyesore but it's viewable on the inside, not the outside of the door. Other than that, the installation was door professionally and promptly. I would certainly recommend this company as well as use them again myself if the need arises.

Description of Work: They installed all new windows in my home. So far, I really like the new windows. Seems like they keep my front sun facing windows cooler and now my office and bedroom don't get so warm in the afternoon sun. Like the way they look on the house and feel the price was fair. Have some issues with the professionalism of the installers, but the company is dealing with them. Also had some damage to my laminate flooring that is to dealt with and repaired.
