I try to be as upfront and honest in our initial conversation to avoid any uncomfortable situations in the future. Too many people tell you one thing over the phone and do another once they are in front of you. I do everything possible to avoid that. With that said, I don't feel your rating of my company is entirely fair or accurate. You purchased our big deal on Dec.15th of 2014. I responded the same day with the following message: Good Morning [member name removed] Thank You for the opportunity to work with you on your plantation shutter project. We love working with our clients from the Tucson area. With that said, can you please provide your contact number, along with an idea of how many window openings you are looking to cover? This will help us better assess your project. As far as availability, we can do either Jan 6th or 7th between 11:30-12:00 arrival. Please feel free to contact me personally with any additional questions. In fact, I provided 2 dates for an appointment based off your available times. When you did contact me, I did indicate that we are located in the Metro Phoenix area (this information is on Angie's List as well as my website). The reason why I informed you of this was because we have a travel fee to areas such as Tucson, Payson, Prescott, etc. Unfortunately, we can't drive 2 hours each way for 1 or 2 windows without this fee. We would spend more money in fuel and labor driving then the cost of the entire 2 window job. That is why I asked you in my message for an approximate number of windows you would like to cover. This way, you would be provided with a total cost including the fee. With this information, you could decide if you wanted to move forward. Again, I was being as open and honest as possible. Once you called and provided me rough measurements, I gave you a price right away. You told me you would think about it. I didn't hear back regarding the appointment date(s) I attempted to schedule. We have had great success and many satisfied customers with the Big Deal. With this promotion, if you decide not to proceed with it, The Big Deal is fully refundable to you through Angie's List. I apologize if I lead you to believe I wasn't interested. That was never my intention. My immediate, same day communication from your initial message, 2 optional appointment days based off your initial preferred days, and myself providing pricing right away over the phone from your measurements makes me feel I did all I could to make an agreement happen.
