To date (19 March 2013), I have not seen an adjusted bill for the removal of the carpet nor any partial refund of my deposit. Per my emails and phone contacts since 4 Feb 13, I am told that the refund has been issued and then given excuses on company problems. Per the last initiated contact with Paul by phone (19 Feb 13), Paul said he had been out sick and having problems with his quick programs and merchant. He would look into and as a last resort issue a check to be mailed within the week. It is now 19 March and I have not received and adjustment to my credit card nor a check. Per my last email (13 Mar 13) and attempted phone contact (18 & 19 March), I have not had any response from Paul or any member of Adobe Coating. I still do not have an adjusted bill for just the removal of the carpeting/tacking or a adjusment refund of my $855.00 deposit

The accepted proposal was for the installation of a Simulate Concrete Coating over 262 Sq Ft of living space in the front/pool table room. The Proposal included the following services: 1. Treatment & Preperation of Surface: A. Removal of Exiting Coating (As Req) - Carpet, Tack Strips, Glue, Etc. B. Joint & Crack Repair - Treat Aprrox.________ If, Of Cracks in Surface with Material Compatible with New Coating C. Description of New Coating - Simulated Concrete - Other 262 Sq Ft. The Cost of the Proposal was $1614.57 + $95.10 = $1709.67. 50% Down Bal due upon completion. I paid $855.00 (per phone contact for 50% downpayment) on 31 Oct 2012. Adope personnel began the project on 3 Dec 12. They entered the home and removed the carpeting, tacking, and associated carpet products. This process occured over a 2 to 2.5 hour time frame. On 5 Dec 12, I received an email from Paul Marcovecchio (Adobe Coating) stating running into a problem with the concrete slab. Paul's suggested fix was the removal and replacement of the current slab estimating another $2200.00 to $2500.00 to the project. After investigating the situation; exploring options; other extenuating circumstances: I advised Paul via email and phone on 10 Jan 2013 that I was going another route. Per the phone conversation, Paul was to submit a bill for the removal of the carpet. He stated that I would receive a adjustment/refund on my $855.00 deposit.

I tried to schedule with him multiple times to come out and reapply a sealant on my concrete walkway and patio. I kept getting put off by him so I chose to just pay to have someone else to do it.
Description of Work: This company applied a coating on my walkway and patio 6 years ago and there was a contract for them to notify me within 4 years to reseal it. I was never notified so I called them.
