Good Installation but Terrible Customer Service, Bait switch price increasing Car not starting because they ran the battery dead during installation on my newer honda accord with new car battery Being lied to by Kendall the front desk assistant Being threatened by Eric the Owner of the company when I had a complaint I started off with a great experience with Dustin the General Manager over the phone. I was referred by the company doing the windshield replacement when they do the tint. He did a excellent job describing each tint package and ask me question to find the right package within my budget. I confirmed with him the package and that everything was included except for tax. I was satisfied and call back the next day. Dustin was not available and spoke to Kendall to confirm everything so on installation day there were no surprises. On Installation day I come in at 8:15am and speak with Kendall. She immediately walks me over to the tint packages and ask me what I want. I'm confused because I though everything was finalized over the phone. She says the windshield tint can be a different tint then the rest of the car. I asked how much of a upgrade in price this will be. She comes back to me and communicates that they are already tinting the replacement windshield and I'm stuck with my first selection over the phone. Which is okay but why the upsell on something that wasn't an option in the first place. She then begins to sell me on the windshield tint and explain that already included and they are tinting it as we speak and I will have to pay 225.00 more because it's not included on the original quote. I was very concern and told her I verified all charges with Dustin and also her over the phone. She continues to pressure me to pay the upcharge and I continue to tell her that this surprise upcharging is not okay. She steps a way for less than a minute and then tells me they can include it with charging me more. I get a call from Kendall at 1:15 that the car is all completed. I come in at 2:50 and they are still working on it but they are doing the completion in the front parking lot. I wait in my car for another 20 minutes until there done. I would rather wait and have it done correctly. Why I had a car almost 2 hours prior saying its completed is unknown. I'm glad I didn't come sooner I would have been waiting. The Tech as he is walking away from me tells me quickly what to do and not to do. I come in to check out with Kendall and she does a great job getting me out the door quickly after paying. I proceed to start my car and it doesn't start the battery was drained. Kendall comes out with a attitude as I'm inconveniencing her. She has the starter in a box and tells me because I'm a man and she's a woman she should do it. I can't see if its a cigarette lighter jump start or battery connecter because it's still in the box. I ask her what kind? She then says if I'm not man enough she can get one of her guys out to do it! The car starter worked I asked for the the owner phone #. She tells me that she can't give it out and he will call me. Then walks into the store as I follow in to ask again she tells me to leave the store. A few minutes later I'm on the phone with my wife stunned by the level of customer service. Erk the owner that was supposably not there comes out to me and acts like nothing happens. He then tells me that He watch the security camera of me and because I was bothered and respectively assertive with what I was promised that I was being rude and Kendall had her reasons to treat me the way she did. I asked a question about the bubbles in the tint and when they go away (kendall communicated that this will happen. He told me that the bubbling doesn't go away and if you don't like it I can rip it out and give you your money back. He then says we don't do perfect tinting (which perfect is impossible) I just didn't need a threatening response included with the answer to my question. I left there satisfied with the good tint job but, unsettled with the way I was treated and how they didn't value my business with poor customer service.

This is the second car that I have taken to A Better Tint in Gilbert. Our first car's tint lasted for the duration of the vehicles life, with no issues. This was no doubt due to the high quality 3M products that Better Tint installs and the quality of installation process. Our most recent vehicles had some minor issues with the initial installation, but Better Tint resolved those quickly with no hesitation. I will continue to get all of my window tinting performed by this great business! Living in Arizona, it is a necessity to have your vehicles tinted. A Better Tint is professional and focused on doing a quality job! Thanks!

They were fast and I was out of there quickly. Nice quality 3M window tinting. I have used them before and was very satisfied.

It went perfect. You couldn't even tell the windows were tinted because there were no air bubbles. It looks like the windows are sprayed that color instead of any film being on there.

I arrived on time and the job was finished almost an hour before promised. I haven't found anything to criticize and the tint does everything as promised. The car is much cooler although I would have preferred a darker tint. I opted to go for the heat resisting tint rather the darker tint. Can't have both.

Scheduling was quick and easy. The staff was very professional, answered my questions and explain to my options. The pricing was competitive with other providers in the area. The work was done properly the first time with no problems. My car looks excellent and I'm very happy with the result. I would definitely use them again.

Todd was running a few minutes behind. He called to let me know. He wore protective booties, carried all of his trash in his own trash bag that he packed out, cleaned up after himself, gave instructions on cleaning and maintenance, and left things just as he found them. The product was installed at noon in August. The heat reduction was immediately noticeable. The NV15 makes the bedroom noticeably darker, which was one of our goals since there is a streetlight right outside the window. The Prestige 50 also makes it cooler, but the reduction in visible light is negligible. This seems like it will pay off quickly. They even gave a 15% discount for Angie's List customers.

Customer service was great and they were able to schedule me for a weekend appt. They explained the process well and the final product looks great!

I scheduled my appointment and arrived on time. I had done some research so I knew what type of tint I wanted. The person at the counter was very helpful and gave me good counsel about the darkness of the tint. He said the work would take about 2 hrs. I returned about an hour and forty-five minutes later and the work was already complete. I followed the instructions and allowed the tint to dry thoroughly before using the windows. The results were great! I have much less glare in my car.

Amazing job! The window tint was put on professionally - no bubbles, scratches or lumps. It looks great and we've been noticing it keeps the car cooler even when left in the summer sun and heat. Overall, great job at a fair price.

Removed lemo tint from front two window and re applied lighter tint. Great service and friendly staff. I will definitely do business with them again.

Made an appointment and waited in their separate lounge and watched t.v. which was cool. Wasn't even there for an hour before they finished! Looked great! No bubbles at all! Wanted a tint to match the closest to the rest of my tint on my car and it was on point to a T. The guy was explaining to me the different tints and what they offer and I chose the one that eliminates a decent percentage of heat. Thinking that perhaps my windows would be pitch black to achieve this. Wrong! It's a decent lighter black, like, a charcoal. I noticed a huge difference! My car isn't nearly as hot inside at all anymore. I drive a black car with black leather seats so you could imagine how hot it would get in Az heat. I would have to blast my A/C to the highest setting. Note I just turn it on to the lowest setting and I just fine. I'm extreamly impressed and they were courteous and helpful beginning to end. Recommending to these guys to everybody!

They were very professional and courteous and answered all of our questions up front, prior to the work. Then they performed the service in the timeframe that they stated. The job came out looking excellent and is far superior to what the car had on it previously. We are excited to see if it helps reduce the interior heat some, as was stated up front. The Summer will tell, but the wife already believes that it has helped. The top tier tinting product reduces night time glare and daytime sun, while not being excessively dark in color shade. Overall we are very pleased with the job and glad that we chose "A Better Tint" to do it.

Their service was superb. I was in and out in under two hours. The quality appears to be excellent. They were also courteous and answered any questions that I had. I would not hesitate to use them again for auto window tinting.

I had found them through an ad. I can qualify as far as the comfort in my home, and it is cooler, and I don't have to have the AC on as much. They were professional, their price was good, and I had to go back and forth with them a little because there was a credit involved, but it was resolved, and I was extremely happy with the resolution of the discrepancy. They were very responsive and understanding. They were on time, and the quality of work was great. The fact that they resolved the customer complaint immediately, and I was very happy. They are coming back to do another job.

I stopped by in the morning, and they were able to fit me in that afternoon. Did a great job tinting the windows with a great product. The final job looks great. We are very pleased with the service and with the way everything worked.

I had my rear window tinted. I drove my car directly from their parking lot to my garage, where the car sat for a week. I do all my own detailing, and know every mar, scratch, etc in all of my cars. One week after getting work done (the car had not moved the entire week), I pull the car out and wash it. I notice a small dent on top of the back fender right next to the hatch, right where the work had been done. I immediately drove down to their shop and Carley took a picture and said Dustin, the manager will contact me. Dustin denied any wrongdoing and explained that no one in his shop could have done that, and it's been already a week. I guess I should have to thoroughly inspect my car whenever I get anything done to it. Why shouldn't I have trust in the shop working on my vehicle? It is probably less than a $100 to have a paintless dent removal done to the car, but Dustin would not cover or even offer to pay a portion of the cost. I have 3 other cars that I plan on getting tinted..... for less than $100, this business will lose several hundred just to me alone. Accidents do and can happen.... but my car had not been any other place. I would not recommend bringing your car to A Better Tint at all. I will let all my friends, neighbors, family and co workers know about my experience. Especially being a car guy, I do have a lot of people ask for advice, and I will tell them exactly how I feel.

The technician was on time & seemed to know what he was doing. Once again (as in all services for the last 2 months) I was not provided with a detailed invoice of the work. I have sent numerous emails asking for a detailed receipt. Each response is either incomplete or incorrect. I believe I was over charged. In addition, I have still not received a written warranty.(5/29/14) Update 6/6/14: They did not honor the 15% disc with the ad I had. Update 7/2/14 They responded to Angie's List denying having done a job for me. No warranty was ever provided [they said it would be mailed from the manufacturer] And they still have not provided an invoice that justifies the charges [the cost & size of window treatment keep changing]
