They did a great job. They matched the texture perfectly. They even fixed some other areas since they were there and had the time. I would recommend them to anyone needing drywall repair.

Jonathan and helper arrived at 9:00am (estimate was before Noon) and finished the job in about 90 minutes. Very professional demeanor and work completion.

I kept trying to contact him for 3 days and he did not respond. On this last day of the $69.00 package deal, he calls me, says that price of $69.00 is just for tape and some plaster, did not include the plasterboard to repair with. Is this usual on this Angies list? we have to buy our own products to have things done? Are all the specials just for labor? And then they charge you later for repair products, like drywall. This left a really bad feeling on this service. I am very careful now on trying to use your services at all. None of this was explained even in your booklets. I don't like surprises of spending a lot of extra money after having a job done, with the set price as advertised, and then shelling out a lot more money in the end.

Jonathan did a great job repairing the holes in the drywall and I would hire him again.

Pearl Painting scheduled this drywall job several weeks in advance, Their original arrival time was between 8 and 11 am. I received an email message the night before rescheduling the job for late morning/early afternoon. No one ever showed up or called. There were no updates or a common courtesy call for a customer who is waiting. After I contacted Angie's List late in the afternoon about the refund process, I received an email message right before 5 pm asking if I could reschedule for four days from now. Needless to say, I could not assume that the rescheduled appointment would be any different and I was not about to waste another day being ignored by a contractor. I will request that refund and part ways with Angie's List. This is the exact thing I expected to avoid by going through them and if that cannot be provided I see no sense in continuing.

Had some difficulty arranging a time for repair, and then they showed up about 2 hours late. Did a good job on repairs, but left without even saying they were through. For the price it was worth it, but probably won't use him again.

Wow! Where to start... Purchased deal in February and emailed to schedule. In email I stated what I needed done. Had a roof leak and needed drywall and texturing done on my vaulted ceiling. I was not able to reach it or I would have done it myself. Was told they were scheduling into April and told them no problem. Set appointment for April 19th I believe. No one ever called to verify the appointment and what I needed done. The next morning they showed up and didn’t have necessary stuff to complete the job. If they would have called to verify appointment or even referred back to email they would have known the situation. At this point I was already annoyed. I had no idea if they were going to show for appt. and had given me a window time frame. Secondly, he wanted to do more work ( I understand that) and I stated that as of this time I just needed the ceiling fixed. I think that p***** him off. Anyways, he told me to email his wife to reschedule. After going back and forth to schedule the appt for June 11, they charged me $100.00 for scaffolding. Really? Then when showed up on June 11 was very abrupt. (Even my babysitter commented on this) He taped and patched and did texturing. Didn’t ask if I wanted him to finish the areas which was annoying considering that scaffolding was needed. I didn’t ask him either because to be honest it wasn’t worth it. I know I had a small job, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have future opportunities. I actually have quite a bit of drywall work to be done and had it been done correctly and in a business like manner I would have it done. As it is, I can’t reach to sand the drywall and paint it and I can see the tape line on my ceiling. Now I will have to find someone else to come fix/finish this project!

It turned out fine. There were no additional fees.

Jonathan was right on tome, surveyed the kitchen and considered what I requested be done. Unfortunately it was a lot more involved than I thought when I purchased the "deal" for drywall repair. My pitiful kitchen needed so much more work than I could afford. But Jonathan was so honest, he immediately told me to just get e refund and THEN>>> proceeded to do about several minor repairs AT NO CHARGE!!! It was at least 20 minutes, but he refused to be paid for it. Even after driving all the way to Queen Creek from Fountain Hills! He offered advice as to how I could address the rest and save money. If Pearl Painting were not out of my budget, I would definitely hire them. And so should you. Thanks again Jonathan & Michael.

I had purchased the Deal, and I thought he would get it done within 2-3 weeks, but they were only accepting appointments in July, and I needed it done sooner than that.

Please note, the first available slot this provider had was two months after the Big Deal was purchased. Per the provider Angie's List will not allow him to post his availability online, which is normally 30-60 days. Therefore I have a big problem with Angie's List, but absolutely no problem with the Pearl Painting. The folks did a great job working with me to get scheduled, and the work was outstanding.

The painters was excellent. The problem I have is not with the workers, but with the company. They failed to set my expectations as a customer. I only needed 3 bedrooms painted. Minus the ceiling and trim. The guys did not have enough time to paint a second coat and paint my 3 bedroom. I could not afford another $200 plus dollars for them to stay and finish. The coupon will only cover 1 bedroom. Now I'm stuck with almost a full 5gallon of paint, 2 incomplete bedrooms and 1 bedroom that hasn't been touched.

They did a little bit of both. I was satisfied with the work. They were here for the whole 3 hours. I would not hire them again though because I have another provider that I trust.

Pearl Painting was unable to get me scheduled before July, I had the deal refunded.

Arrived on time with two workers. Did the job quickly. There were no problems with quality of work. Lead guy was a bit abrupt/gruff, but that was no big deal. I would recommend this services.

drywaller was incredibly fast and expertly skilled. The only problem I had was getting a mutual agreed on appointment date in a timely fashion. This was an angieslist special offer deal.

It was difficult to schedule due to my work demands - several reschedules, which they accepted. Arrived on time and ready to work. The job was completed - no mess. The results exceeded my expectations.

They came to my home and saw more than 3 hours of work and wanted to do it all or nothing.

Initially frustrated that it took 6 weeks to get them to come out. But when they finally arrived, they did an excellent job, matching the finish on our walls. Can't tell damage had been there!

Did'nt match texture on sheet rock

They were terrible. We had the painting redone. Rather than using a primer they insisted on using several coats of the paint. Took too long also so it limited the number of rooms that they did

Went great. We had a ceiling crack repaired but you can see where the work is done. Perhaps paint will help. Overall very professional.

After scheduling and not showing up, I phoned the number given. A man answered - he was in the hospital. He asked if I had emailed his wife who handled all the scheduling. I said no. I finally had an email from his wife and we setup another time. The workers came to the house and were very pleasant. I took them in to show what I needed done. The first item, they told me could not be done. The reason was sound. I took them into the bathroom to show two areas I would like the drywall replaced. One was 18 inches by 24 inches and other about twice that size. They told me they could not possibly do that, between the two of them, within the hour and a half time limit. Or, I could pay more. I showed out of the house. Not impressed with Pearl Painting or their workers attitudes!

My experience was fine. They were able to accommodate me in their schedule quickly. They were very responsive and nice to work with. They were all on time for the appointment. It took the full day with four people here doing the work. The results of the painting were good, over all.
