Painter came about 20 min late...his directions were convoluted when I saw what he was following. I rescheduled appointment one time via contact with email via your site. They responded promptly and were accomating to my schcedule. Yes, I would hire again!

Description of Work: It appeared that the company received an overwhelming response from the "big deal". They scheduled my painting almost 2 months out and on the day of the appointment the painter cancelled due to car trouble. Again, I'll have to wait to reschedule.

Description of Work: After five attempts to reach them by phone and leaving two messages, I never received a call back to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately, the deal they offered on Angie's list expired without a call back. Don't bother calling them, they simply won't answer the phone or return your phone call.

Description of Work: We had Pearl painters here today. Two very nice gentlemen did a fantastic job painting 3 rooms and a hallway. They were prompt, efficient, courteous and did a meticulous clean up. I definitely recommend Pearl painting for any of your painting needs. We will not hesitate to use them again. Linda and Bill

Description of Work: I scheduled an appointment to have multiple ceilings painted for April 15, 2013 at 8:00 AM. I received a phone call from Mr Duncan to cancel the appointment five minutes before the crew was supposed to arrive. He stated the crew had been in an "accident" on the way to the appointment. This seemed dubious to me, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. During the phone call (7:55 AM), the appointment was rescheduled for April 22, 2013. I called him back several hours later(10:10 AM) and left a phone message stating that I had a conflict on the 22nd and needed to reschedule for another date. I received no response for over 24 hours, so I emailed him and offered three dates at 12:38 PM on April 16th. He responded later that day at 5:15 PM stating he could do the job today, Saturday the 20th of April. I happened to check my emails after 9:00 PM last night, and saw an email from Mr Duncan sent at 7:06 PM, stating that the painters he had scheduled to paint my home were not "apt" at painting ceilings and asking if he could reschedule for the following Thursday or Friday. I saw no record of Mr Duncan attempting to call me or text me to make sure I had received his email message. I was left to conclude that Mr Duncan hired painting workers that are inept at painting ceilings and knowingly scheduled them for a job where painting ceilings was the declared scope of the job. I further concluded that he was willing to put me in the position of saying, " go ahead and send your inept crew" but than not be able to complain about the quality of their work since he had informed me that they were not "apt", or reschedule for the third time. He communicated this information too late and in a manner that did not assure I would receive the message before the appointment. Mr Duncan's communication was not timely related to rescheduling today's appointment and his excuse seemed bogus, as I find it strains credulity to believe that a painting contractor would hire any painter that was not competent to paint vertical and horizontal surfaces, and than schedule them for a job that requires horizontal surfaces to be painted.

Description of Work: Pearl Painting is amazing! The guys are professional, efficient, and do top quality work!!! I bought the "crew for a day" package and they got more done in one day then I could have in a month. I have had a lot of drywall work done to a house i just purchased and it looked like a bad patchwork quilt. I have smooth walls throughout the main part if the house and they took the time to smooth out rough areas my GC didn't. They took great care of my belongings, protected floors and left it clean. Everyone was very polite and helpful. I can't wait to have them come back to do the rest of my house. I would highly recommend Pearl Painting.

Description of Work: After I finally finished 'bugging' Jonathon and understood that I need to call his office manager, Rosanne, everything went well. She was able to schedule my painting very quickly. Additionally, she put my mind at ease regarding moving some of the larger furniture. Dave was my painter. He arrived on time, was professional while being friendly, went to work immediately, took a quick break for lunch, then was back to work. He taped the base boards where the paint from the wall might transfer. He still used paint tarps, although I plan on changing the flooring. Dave also conferred with me as he was nearly done with the wall painting regarding if any of my base boards could be completed. We agreed that the most visible parts were most important. For the price and the quality, I'd do it again. Be aware that you've contracted for 8 hours, not an entire project. If so, perhaps conferring with Rosanne would be the best plan.

Description of Work: A short sale condo I'd been trying to purchase finally closed after several months and I really hadn't thought ahead about needing to paint as you don't really know for sure if you're going to get the property or not until it closes. Suddenly, I found myself looking at the place are realizing that it really did need painting and I was in a hurry to move and it was the first of December. Apparently, painters are pretty busy at the this time of year with the multiple holiday's - who knew people worried about painting rather than getting a tree up and decorating? Can you really see the walls anyway with all the garg up there? Well, I contacted a few painters on Angie's List and they were all pretty busy, but said call when the place closed. Fortunately, I'd been able to check out pictures of their work at their websites during the week. Well, I closed late on Friday and called Jonathon that Saturday morning fairly early. He was already down in my part of the valley and able to meet me that morning. We met up and took a look at the project (an entire interior and garage repaint plus garage floor cleanup and expoxy) and I hired him on the spot because his quality of work and attention to detail sounded first class and he was able to work me in a week later. That gave me just a week to figure out which colors to paint the place - not an easy task! Jonathon didn't try to talk me into sticking with one or two colors to make the project cheaper for him either. I liked the fact that he rolls the walls and I had to cover up seafoam paint in every room. It was a marathon week figuring out colors and throwing a second coat of something on everytimes I had a chance to run by the place. And, since my stuff's been in storage for 4 years and I had to really work off of memory and what I know I like. Jonathon was great at helping me pick colors and be a little adventurous with them too. His crew showed up on time and were very professional! They left the work site clean and orderly and did not leave trash anywhere. They were polite and curtious and the work is superior to any paint job I have ever seen!!! The lines at the ceiling are perfect as well as where the wall change colors! They cleaned up the paint that was on the electrical outlets and ventilation registers too. It was a great experience!
