Description of Work: I had dry wall repair done, not painting. I was not impressed at all. The we're terrible with responding to phone or email messages. They were booked about a month out. When they showed up i told them to use the code to get into the garage. He called and said the house was locked. I asked him repeatedly if he was sure. Then I had to leave work drive 35 mins to the house when I got there they were standing outside smoking. I realized that they were trying to get into the side door, not the garage door. I was very frustrated!! Plus the work was not great. Honestly I would never hire them or refer them to anyone!!

Description of Work: The provider seems like a decent enough guy and did provide some helpful information about the areas that needed repair. I just felt we did not click due to different styles of communication, which is very important to me. So I opted to not have the work done. He cordially referred me back to Angie's List to obtain a refund.

Description of Work: Called to schedule services and they weren't able to get me on the schedule by the time I needed the service complete so I had to go another route to get the work done.

Description of Work: I had a small drywall to be repaired and that went fine although they were a day late. I had another larger job for my office and I got an estimate and the work was started. They were again late and had to change the date. The work on the first day was good as the crew was excellent. Jonathon was there and did some drywall repair which was good. The second day was about as unprofessional as I have experienced. The job was to repair the slight crack in the dome and repaint it. I also had a repair and paint outside on the ceiling where the cars park. Both of these jobs were done so poorly that they were completely unacceptable. Jonathon argued with me about what the finish should be on the dome and insisted it had a faux finish which it did not. He applied some kind of paint with an oily finish and the repair almost glowed in the dark. He argued that he was right and wouldn't listen. His painter told him the job was bad and he told him in front of my employee to shut up and just finish the job because he had another job to go to. I called him after I saw the work and it had dried and told him he needed to come back and complete the work. He was condescending and rude and said it was my fault and that if I didn't give him more money that he was not going to finish the job. I told him that was not our agreement and he said that is the way it was and he wasn't going to fix it. I think the afternoons are not a good time to deal with this man as I believe he had had a liquid lunch. I waited a few days and then I hired another crew to complete the job and they did a fantastic job.They also worked for much less than the bid I got from Pearl. I will say his crew and especially Mark and Ken were excellent painters. Unfortunately they were not assigned to the dome and the outside work. I would say the crew is great but the owner is very difficult to work with and I would under no circumstances hire him again. He blames everyone else for problems and does not take responsibility for issues that go wrong. If you read the reviews you will see they are either good or bad with little in the middle. He is good for small jobs and sheetrock repair but expensive and not dependable for larger, more complicated jobs. Appointment times or dates don't mean much to him either. He is certainly not what I expected from Angie's List.

Description of Work: My patio had some dry wall damage which happened due yo a roof leak. The team from Pearl Painting fixed this without a problem. My only surprise was that they did not seem to have all of the tools/supplies that they needed - they asked for a hammer, a shovel or rake for cleanup, and large garbage bags. Other than this, the job went well.

Description of Work: They fixed several holes in my drywall from home theater installation wiring and a large hole in my son's room. They came in, performed the work well and quickly and then left. They were very efficient with their work and completed more than they thought was going to be possible given the number of holes that had to be patched. I was very impressed and would recommend them for all drywall repairs.

Description of Work: They installed crown molding in my living room and kitchen. I was very pleased with the work and the final results. I would recommend Pearl Painting's crown molding service without question.

Description of Work: They first came to see what work needed to be done, then scheduled an appointment to come back to do the work. Although they had a backlog and couldn't get out for quite a while after I purchased the Angie's List Deal, the wait was worth it. The the price for the service was great and the professional quality of the work performed was excellent.

Description of Work: I would not recommend them without a special deal. We paid $69 for 3 hours of drywall patching, but they were there less than an hour. They didn't show up at all on the day they said they were coming and we had to call. They did come the next day and did what we asked, but if felt rushed and no one really spoke to us unless we spoke to them.

Had to reschedule my time again once date was confirmed. |Once there they did great. Said they could have done another room so wish I would have known how long they expected to take so I could have had more paint.

Description of Work: I purchased a $399 Big Deal for 2 Painters for a Day.They couldn't come up a time to come and they said they would send me my money. They were really rude about it.

Description of Work: I paid $69 for 3 hours of service. When they got here, I explained the first major project I needed them to do. Forty-five minutes later, when they were done completing that project, they hauled all their equipment back out to the van without asking what else I might need done. When I showed them the other wall repairs in the same room, the response was, "Well I wish you would have told me that before." And to top it off, they didn't even fix all the holes in the wall in that one room! It was like they closed their eyes to the rest of the room. He was SO RUDE, that at that point I just wanted him to leave! So I accepted the hour's worth of uncompleted work, for $69, just to get rid of him. Also, the man in charge (owner?) was not only rude to his employee, but actually ABUSIVE. I couldn't believe the way he was talking to him (yelling at him) and that the guy put up with it! It made my stomach churn and just couldn't listen to him anymore. It was a HORRIBLE experience! PLEASE TAKE THEM OFF YOUR LIST!!!!!!!!! I hate to have someone else experience the same thing! It actually makes me wary to use Angie's List again.

Description of Work: Had to call/email repeatedly before I was contacted to schedule an appt. The two painters did a good job but did not come prepared for the sanding of the stair railing. Therefore the majoirity of the 8 hours was taken up with hand sanding instead of painting. If they had used a hand sander the painting of the stair railing could of been finished.

Description of Work: Jonathan is excellent and knows his business. The only negative was the cleanup. There were overspray of knockdown in all the places he worked. His coworker who was responsible for the cleanup did not do his job fully. The work that Jonathan did was excellent. I would use them again.
