Description of Work: Jason the owner took 3 weeks to get back to me, and when he did we set up a time and a day for hum to complete the service of hanging new drywall in my laundry room. When he got there I find out that he just came out there to give me an estimate which his estimate was unreasonable. When I asked if there was any work that he could do that day he said no because he didn't have any material.He then proceeded to tell me that I could use my coupon for smaller drywall protects even if the coupon expired. I called him later on to use the coupon for a small project and he never returned my call. That was 5 months ago.

Description of Work: Don't use this company. The price sounds great, but the work is not acceptable. I had hairline cracks in lots of the drywall where over time the tape had started to split. What I ended up with is built up areas over the cracks instead of smooth walls. I had to go back and re-sand most areas and reapply texturing.

Description of Work: came over refused to honor deal, kept putting me off for over six months. when hew came out to put up three pieces of drywall in a bathroom, he said this was not part of the deal and told me it would now cost $2,500.00 So I told him he could do the patches in my house instead. He made several appointments and then cancelled stating he was too good to do patchwork and refused to honor the deal. He was Arrogant, nasty and I would NEVER hire him or even recommend him to my worst enemy!!!!!!!

Description of Work: Jonathan missed the first appointment due to illness. Okay that happens. He arrived on 10/31/14 with another workman and looked at our job. Since my 80+ year old Father made this same repair in just a few hours I was surprised to learn that these two men said it would take a good deal more than the two hours in the "big deal" for which I already paid. (The repair needed to be done again because we had not fixed the original cause as we had thought). Jonathan said he would call to make an appointment to do the job in "November". We have yet to hear from him. Now we are offered, from Angie's List, to transfer the money already paid to another vendor. Only one was offered and his prices are beyond the value of the job. So we are out the money.

Description of Work: Jonathon with Pearl Painting was really difficult to reach. He came to the property but didn't do the work because he said it was more than two hours worth. I had told him there was more and that I would pay for the extra work. After several attempts to reach him, he finally gave me a price for the extra work and said he'd get it done 10/17/14, while I was on vacation. I put a check for the extra work and the Angies List Big Deal voucher in an envelope on the counter before I left. I returned from vacation to discover that he had not done the work, nor had he contacted me to say he wouldn't be there. I tried to reach him several times but no response. At some point in this process when I asked him about a refund (since we were getting absolutely nowhere with him), he told me that I'd have to go through Angies List to get a refund because he gets less than half of what I paid. He was terribly unreliable, not a good communicator, and seemed overwhelmed with the number of people who wanted his services. I remember thinking, "If he did an Angies List Big Deal to market his business, he would've been better off NOT doing it because he is merely demonstrating his terrible customer service."

Small job but something that needed professional attention. | |We had a very hard time scheduling work, due to logistics, once we had purchased work. We had to reschedule three times and they were not responsive to our requests for information about when the work would be done. | |Once done we are very happy with the work they did. |

Description of Work: Kind of hard to get scheduled but the work was excellent.

Description of Work: Very good job on the plastering . Clean-up , average . Overspray on windows and tile . The helper working above kitchen sink slipped/fell into |sink and broke under mount sink away from countertop and broke one sink |strainer . I went to Ace and got and installed a new strainer and that is when I noticed the sink was detached . The worst part of this job was to leave and not tell me my sink was broken and was leaking .

Description of Work: I scheduled an appointment and they never showed up. I called twice that day and left 2 messages with no return phone call from them explaining their absence.

Description of Work: I bought an Angie's List Big Deal to have one room painted. I had my bathroom painted by them about a year ago and bought this deal because I already knew the high quality work I would get. This is my "go to" painter now. In addition to doing high quality painting, they are neat, friendly, thorough, and helped with getting the room back in order. I also have twice asked about other possible future projects and they are very knowledgeable and honest, not high pressure to take on the job.

Description of Work: Overall, the repairs were okay. I had a painter come in afterward, and he redid some of the texturing. The work was done on time, quickly, and though he did a good enough job that I asked for an estimate of additional work.
