Nice way to fix small problems.

He was great. He went way overboard. He was here for about six hours.

It turned out very well. It was just one person that came, but he was good. He came right when he said he was. I was very pleased. I would use them again in the future.

Painter arrived on time was clean and personable. He got right to work and had the materials that were needed--all I supplied was the paint. He helped me move some of the furniture due to the weight and area he was working in. He worked non-stop. The work looked excellent. Areas that he had difficulty with included above the door frames, which were difficult to paint due to less than a 1/4 inch area for the paintbrush to fit. He told me the problem and we made the decision not to paint the area in that it wouldn't be obvious. I was really pleased with the quality and work provided.

It was good. Their pricing was reasonable.

The office manager of this company apparently has an aversion to telephones. She NEVER responded by telephone. Scheduling....done by email. Questions answered..., by email. I communicated with the office manager that we chose two painters for 20 hours. TWICE Her response was, "It's doubtful that we would be able to finish the entire outside and inside of a home in 40 hours." I acknowledged that we really didn't expect the entire house inside and out to be finished in 40 hours, but that we would prioritize, and they could do 'as much as they could do'. We had the owner, Jonathan, come to our home to give a separate estimate for filling exterior stucco cracks prior to the painting. During that visit he informed us that the Angie's List Big Deal was incorrect, and they would not honor or the 2 painters for 20 hours each. We could have two painters for two days, for a total of 32 hours,...something about a sprayer, and that there was no way they could do inside and outside painting. When we requested he honor the deal as we understood it, and pointed out that his office manager had never objected to our request for the deal as we understood it to be, he was emphatic that they would only do 2 painters for 32 hours or 1 painter for 40 hours. We have cancelled the painting and are getting a refund from Angie's List. Truly displeased with this experience.

Pearl Painting painted two rooms-living room, office, plus a dining L - about 500 SF with lots of trim and ceilings. We bought the deal in early May; they were booked until June 25. On June 24, we received an e-mail asking to reschedule until July 2. We had already moved heavy furniture and bookcases; we asked them to come earlier since the house was so disrupted. Pearl sent 2 painters on June 27 at 7:45am, informing us that they would give us 4 hours. The gentlemen were very professional, wasted no time. But all they did was paint - no prep work at all. It was a good thing that we had done the majority of taping and spackling beforehand. They did use tarps, but there was quite a bit of spatter on the tile floor which cleaned up easily (by us). The paint job was good - the cutting in at ceiling and trim was awesome, but it really needed a second coat. We have spent several days touching up the thin spots and a big miss around a ceiling fan that wasn't taped. The paint used was Behr Premium Plus self-priming (purchased by us), and the color change was from one neutral to another. All in all, the rooms look fresh & clean - a big improvement for the "old girl!" We'll get a quote from Pearl for exterior painting in the future; but not with a "big deal" discount. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

They just did the painting today and it is beautiful. They were thorough and did what they said they would do. It looks great.

I wanted a living room/dining room painted including the cathedral ceiling with the ceiling a lighter shade than the walls. Explained this to the owner, but over the phone he called it a great room which predates houses of this vintage. I thought the ceiling should be considered the third room. However I did convince him to lower the extra charge by $50 to $150. The painters he sent were friendly and considerate and did a great job! Having not gotten any other prices, I have no idea if this was a great price. It was rather difficult communicating with the owner, had use both phone calls and emails, either he is very busy or not well organized or both.

I would definitely recommend Pearl Painting. I had them do another room on top of that when they came out and I had them come out and do another room several months later. I was very pleased with their work. I'll be having them come out and do another room once we finish remodeling back. We've had them back at the house since then.

Professionally done....Quality was good. All communication was done via e-mail with zero phone contact. Very poor customer service follow up. Called Pearl Painting several times after the work was completed and never received a returned my call.

They did a great job painting. Johnathan (the owner) is great to work with and his crew did a really good job. My front door got a great paint job and he fixed my door's insulation. Everything works well and looks excellent.

I dont know where to start. The owner, Jonathon, met me, toured the house and gave me a price and a completion date with the caveat of "we may have to go over by a day or two depending." This contract was for 5 days of painting for $5000 and $1000 for paint paid in advance "Because I can give you an Angies List discount if you pay in advance." 4 days into the job, Jonathon, who does not paint and was no where to be seen during the painting, tells me he needs another $4500 to finish the job, and another $800 for paint and they will be done in another week. Meanwhile, all other work is delayed waiting on the painters that cannot be done by the other contractors, and they have schedules that are now messed up. The consequence of this cost us over $4000 in delays. So now we have paid about twice the contract cost but need the job finished and fast. First day after I pay him (In advance again because he threatened to leave the house as is with doors off, etc. if I didnt), only one painter is working for the day. Im told Jonathon sent them to another job. Next day two painters. I was promised at least 4 painters each day. I find out that instead of using a base coat, even in the rooms with really dark paint, instead of Kilz, they just painted 4 coats of paint, which cost me more in paint, and more days in time. So, another week and still not close to finished. Jonathon, who does not return calls at all, only asks for money, tells me he needs another $6000 to finish the job. At this point the house is so messed up that I cant get another painter that I trust to take over and finish.

, Arrived promptly, painted 3 rooms in record time. Painter was professional and nicely dressed. Did an excellent job of painting living room, dining room, small office space and hallway. I would recommend Pearl Painting to everyone.

We were very impressed from the moment the painter arrived exactly on time. During the day, the proprietor himself came by to inspect/supervise the quality of the job. All work was completed in one day as promised, which had never happened before with other services.

I repeatedly called Pearl Painting--at least 5 or 6 times (I don't call lovers that frequently). The painter returned my calls only twice, and in both cases brushed me off. I finally gave up and called Arizona Painting, also on Angie's List,; They sent an estimator that morning, and the work will begin on 3 July. I cannot recommend Pearl Painting to anyone in any circumstances.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I bought the paint that was required. The work was all right. He had to do two coats and he had to paint some trim that he didn't expect, so it took some time. He didn't tape things off so edges are not clear cut everywhere and there were splatters of paint. Overall I think he did a good job for one guy. He didn't bring a sprayer because I didn't tell him that one of the ceilings he was painting was popcorn. He said that unless it was requested, they don't bring a sprayer. They specifically asked me if they needed to bring a tall ladder and I said no because my ceilings were only 9 feet tall. They didn't ask about if I was painting a ceiling or if it was popcorn. He just brought a roller so he wasn't able to paint the ceiling so that kind of bothered me. How was I to know to tell them that they needed to bring a sprayer. They were the painters so they should have asked me. Other than that, the work was fine and he worked the whole time other than taking a lunch break. I didn't have any complaints about him. He did show up late. He was professional in how he dealt with me. I would probably try somebody else the next time.

Pearl Painting painted the interior of our home and were able to accommodate a short timeframe. I purchased two coupons based on the owner's walk through and the job was done in two days. The workers showed up on time day one with one being late because of bad directions (he ended up in Surprise and we all had a good laugh). The paint was provided by me and I bought a premium paint/primer color which covered well which was acceptable to Pearl. They did a pretty good job and did a good job with clean up. I recommend them and if you do buy their time like I did, do buy a good quality paint.

The only fault was having to reschedule even though job was originally scheduled several weeks in advance. HOWEVER, the reschedule worked out well for us and a third painter was added in compensation for having to change the date. Men reported on time, job was done well, completing more than I had expected due to Mark and Joe being very efficient and the added 3rd painter, and clean-up was complete.

I couldn't be more pleased! His work was excellent and he applied two coats to both foyer and bathroom. If you want a professional job, hire Pearl Painting - you won't be disappointed!

It was a pretty bad experience. It was a scam. The Big Deal says to paint 3 rooms for $349. He came out and said the rooms were too big and tried to charge me $2000. He painted 2 walls and left and never came back. It definitely wasn't worth it.

On the 25th and 26th of April Jonathan and his painters were here very promptly and started job. We were very pleased with the paint job and the clean up.. We paid the balance of money owing and Thanked Jonathan for the service. Hopefully we will have them in the future to paint the interior of our home. We would recommend Pearl paining very highly. It was a pleasure dealing with Jonathan the owner who has been at his job for a long time and you can tell that in his meticuloous work.

They did a really excellent job. I wasn't happy with the amount of noise that they created in my neighborhood but the job they did was very good work. I also had them do the painting of the back around the swimming pool. I spent quite a bit of money with them, their price is high but they're very good. It's either they probably charge almost double what other people do. They did the interior in a very reasonable amount because of the amount of damage and things they had to do to fix it, with the extra here, they charge a lot. I told them that there was a problem after they left and they said that they would come back in 2 or 3 weeks, I've never heard or seen from them yet. The noise they created really irritated me. Actually, you're tied to them once you used them, they have sort of like a 10-year warranty in their job and they have to come back every year to touch up everything for you.

The crew was on time and covered all furniture and draperies, and moved decorative items. They placed everything back when they were finished and cleaned up after themselves. They were courteous and professional. They patched some cracks and did a great job painting. I would have them return for more painting projects.
