I was very impressed by how clean his truck and trainer were. His work reflected that cleanliness. He did very quick, professional work and I am very happy with that. I also asked him to do estimate on other work for me.

It went great! They contacted me to set an appointment. They came when they said they would. They sent two guys who made the two repairs we requested within the purchased time frame. No complaints. The guys were professional and courteous, the repairs look great, and they left the work areas clean and free of debris. Perfect experience.

The provider was on time and professional. Work areas were covered. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. Provider offered to vacuum areas where there was drywall dust. I told provider I would take care of vacuuming.

Prompt, courteous, friendly professional - went right to work and completed work in good time, did a great job.

Given Pearl Painting is scheduling two months out now, the best these folks could do is put me on a cancellation list in case something comes open spur of the moment. My work schedule does not allow me to take off at a moment's notice. This is unacceptable.

The company responded promptly, but they said their earliest availability was not until April 16th. I feel that they should advertise that it could take a long time for them to complete the job. I am working on a timeline and almost 2 months is nowhere near acceptable. I have ordered other services from Angie's list in the past and had very reasonable turn around time.

Excellent. They were on-time, worked in a very neat manner, were pleasant and did a great job.

I am now hesitating to ever order anything else from Angies list again. This is the second time I've received a 2 month lead time from a vendor right after signing up for a deal. If services can't be offered in a timely manner then they shouldn't be offered at all. I understand vendors get busy - but they need to be ready for the tidal wave of business if they decide to advertise on Angieslist. This is foolishness and a complete waste of my time. Even being forced to make extra phone calls and complete an online form to get my money back because vendors don't plan correctly and offer 2 month lead times... who needs the additional hassle? And now I'm right back where I started needing work done and looking for the help.....except I've already invested a lot of time, effort and energy and gotten nowhere. Does not bode well for you Angie.

It can't be easy to paint a whole house and replace all the base boards while the family still lives there, but Jon and his crew did it gracefully every day. He and the guys showed up every morning at 7. They would start with moving the furniture aside and covering it with clean tarps. They always had a good feel for how far they would get that day, so they wouldn't wrap too much furniture up. We never came home to a house that was still wrapped in sheets. Speaking of coming home. Half an hour before day's end they would clean up their tools and vacuum the floors so the house never got "out of control" dirty. To make a long story short: awesome experience. I would refer Pearl Painting to anyone.

Mark and his assistant were couteous, on time, and very efficient. I would definitely hire them again. Excellent work. They knew what they were doing and went right to work. A week later the same offer came up on Angie's list for $50 less. So check out the prices. Thank you Pearl Painting!

Bought a 'Big Deal' for 2 painters for a day. The painters were really nice, easy going, efficient and did good work. Luckily I had just painted a good portion of the inside of my house myself so I knew the drill. You're pretty much on your own to buy the paint and figure out how much you need. Nice discount at Dunn Edwards.

The service was excellent. The guys worked well as a pair. It was Mark and Alistar. I basically had them doing what I call damage control. It was part of the ceiling that had been painted a darker color and the color looked like mustard. They took 4 hours but they did a very good job. The only thing that I did was to buy the paint. They used the roller first, and then I asked them to feather it out, which they did. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if I had to. The price was very fair for the amount of work that they did. They were very polite and very thorough. They came out and covered all the furniture and laid heavy canvas down. They were very careful.

Positive - called me back right away and scheduled us. Negatives - smelled like cigarette smoke; sloppy on the baseboard painting; poor attention to detail. Got a small amount of paint on our tile and brand new leather sofa; which did not come off our sofa. Main owner left our house without any explanation for several hours and left someone else here who does not "paint" for a living - just someone helping him out for the day. Gave us the reason for the sloppy baseboard paint was that our house was not built correctly! Have lived here for 16 years and previous painters gotten it right. The detail is just not there and I would not recommend nor will we be using them again.

Fantastic. Professionals. Awesome work. Great suggestions and very friendly and cordial. Great experience start to finish for us. If I had more painting needed I would hire these dudes for the right price in a second.

He gave me an estimate for $5000 and when I mentioned that I had a coupon (which he had forgotten) he acted like the estimation was with the coupon.

Long delays in scheduling - called and emailed several times often with no response or explanation Didn't show up on scheduled day despite sending an email requesting confirmation and getting a response back - stated that the person assigned to the job indicated that the address provided was "in the desert" and that when they called the number provided the person on the other line knew nothing about any painting services being scheduled. All of this leads to a strong indication of a scam and would avoid this company at all cost.

Wow! What a professional team of painters. I was pretty worried about having my house painted by someone I don't know. I am a single female and I often feel that I am not treated well when I have work done to my car or to my house. I usually feel that I am price-gouged too. This was not at all the case with Pearl Painting. What a relief! I felt that I was treated properly and with respect. I felt comfortable having the crew working inside and outside the house. They were also very careful with my patio furnishing items and all of my personal property. Their work was of the highest quality. I did not see any flaws in their work whatsoever. When they left, I did not see a stray drop of paint anywhere. I was pleasantly surprised. Jonathan is very experienced. He was on-site to make sure that everything was perfect. He is easy to work with and he is very professional and polite. I could not ask for better service or a better result. I would not hesitate to recommend Pearl Painting.

Painted exterior fascia boards, shutters, other trim. They arrived on time, went right to work after discussion with me about what needed to be done, worked a solid day, and cleaned up completely afterward. This was a great experience, and I'd use them again.

They arrived on time, I reviewed the job requirements and expectations and started to work. Of course, the ceiling was first, then the walls. When you hire a team for a specific number of hours, as long as they work diligently for that time you have gotten your money's worth. Folks that think two painters for 8 hours ought to be able to do anything they ask do not know much about painting. The night before, I removed all outlet covers, blinds and furniture except for the TV console. I dusted and vacuumed to make sure there was no Arizona grit to get on my walls. Much of the drywall repair work was already done, but there were several areas that needed their expertise - they delivered. Since I work from home, it was easy for me to pop-in occasionally to see the progress. I am a class-A individual that notices very little things and expect individuals that call themselves professional to have the skills and attitude necessary to qualify. My team did! One point about the company that raised-my-eyebrow was them sending me an email after 6 p.m. the night before asking for my telephone number. I called them early the next day and their response was, "...they on the way. We don't need your phone number now." Definitely not professional.

Great job and service. Had four walls in a stairway that needed to be painted and each wall was a different color. He did a great job and I plan on hiring them again to paint a bedroom.

He said that this work was more than the coupon would cover. He was supposed to call me back, but never did. I've talked to them multiple time to schedule, but it doesn't seem like it ever happens. They have continued to advertise other deals, and I feel like they should take care of the customers they do have, rather than trying to generate more customers.

I wanted spray painting because my home is stucco. The contractor would not honor the offer because he said the offer should have stated painting with hand tools only. Wanted to upcharge $500 for spray painting. Wasn't very friendly.

Mark and Kenny arrived right on time. They were friendly and professional. They did excellent prep work on a cracked area in the ceiling as well as making sure everything was protected with plastic and tarps. The quality of the work was great. No one would ever be able to tell where the work ended because everything was blended in expertly. The deal I had purchased was two painters for one day. Mark and Kenny accomplished everything I hoped for and then some. I certainly am comfortable recommending them based on their level of their experience and the great job they did for me. Before they left they moved everything back in place and everything was left clean. I couldn't have been happier and hope to use their service again in the near future.

Bought the "2 painters for 8 hours each" coupon. They painted a family room/kitchen combo, a living room, a small bathroom, and hallways. I had asked them to paint trim and doors as well. They arrived 20 minutes late, but worked the full 8 hours, so no big deal. The big problem was with lack of communication about the job parameters and the fact that they rolled paint from the walls onto every baseboard, then didn't paint the baseboards. On their arrival, I told them what I would like painted, and the "lead" painter said he'd see how the day went, they'd get as much done as possible. He never said I was expecting too much. I was present in the house most of the day, and asked at least 4 times if things were going okay. When I left, I offered my cell phone, which other painter declined. I was never more than mile away, and came back after a few errands. They never said one word about running out of time or asked if I would prefer them to skip a wall or 2nd coat, or order to go back and do the baseboards. So toward the end of the day, I asked them how they would get the baseboards painted, and was told they would not, and he said he assumed I would paint them. He told me trim is a full 8 hour job. He had no response when I asked him why he hadn't mentioned this at the beginning of the day. Then he blamed me for not being at home, but had no response when I reminded him that I sat here most the day, and checked in with him repeatedly, and had offered my cell number when I did leave. When I told him I was not at all happy with the situation, and said I expected that they as the professionals, would have told me sooner, and then asked him what I was to do about the baseboards, he suggested I hire a painter for a day. Funny, I just did that, and now the baseboards look like I painted for the day. They also did not do a thorough job in the bathroom, there are streaked areas, areas where the brush never touched, and of course messy baseboards. while I was still looking the job over, they loaded and were pulling out of my driveway, like other reviewers, without even saying a word. I left a message for Jonathan, owner. He called me back Tuesday morning, and before I had 5 words out of my mouth to explain the situation he cut me off, was harsh, and said I'd gotten more than my money's worth because it was a "coupon job", and said if I had bought a "bid job" this wouldn't have happened. He was rude and condescending throughout the conversation, and even said "I am not going to dick around about this." wow. If he responds, he'll blame me, say I cut him off, etc. Well, yeah..to get a word in, I did interrupt him and I did try 3 different ways of explaining my displeasure over the job. I asked him at the front end of the conversation to send someone over to paint the baseboards for free. He flatly and rudely refused, repeatedly. When he complained about the "coupon job" and how he loses money on it, I asked him why he offers coupons. He said "to get good reviews". I said it isn't going to work this time. THEN he said "If you will give me a good review, I will send someone over to do the baseboards. My wife will call you to schedule." Two things he should know: he wouldn't have received any other review than the truth of what transpired, and his wife never has called, so that adds insult to injury. Never will use this guy, would encourage you to never use this guy, and am tired of contractors offering coupons and then complaining to me about them (2nd time).
