Pearl Painting

My appointment was at 10 am.. Pearl Painting was very punctual, the job was small but very important as to not continue the damage to the wall. He was fast, professional and very friendly with our dog. He even offered to paint the patch, which was not part of the coupon. I asked him about a bathroom wall that had salt damage from the pool with people hanging swimsuits and he gave me a super reasonable cost for the next project..... I would recommend Pearl Painting again for any paint and repair jobs...

After almost 6 weeks to reach a mutually agreeable date, two men arrived right on time. Upon their arrival, I showed the lead guy what was needed and he reassured me that it would be no problem to complete both the interior and exterior repairs. There was a second guy whose sole job seemed to be to vacuum up after the lead guy. Since this was 1 guy for 3 hours, 2 guys for 1.5 hours or 3 guys for 1 hour, this seemed to be a waste of time. After 1.5 hours (the entire time I had paid for), the doggie door was gone, the interior wall had been patched and textured and there was a gaping hole in my exterior wall stucco. I asked why he had not completed the job and he said my stucco arrangement was "peculiar" and that he could not work on it. My home is one of thousands exactly the same built by Knoell around 1985 so that is patently untrue. I then asked if someone else from their firm could come out and do the work on the stucco to which he replied that they are not licensed to work on stucco!!! Both men then left before allowing me to inspect their work. The texturing on the interior patch doesn't match that of the adjacent wall so that the patch is extremely obvious. So now I need to hire another guy to redo the interior texturing and yet another guy to finish the work on my outside wall. Do not hire these guys: they bring extraneous laborers, do shoddy, incomplete work and don't provide accurate information about their abilities and licensing.

i had an additional outlet installed in my bathroom a couple years ago, but the previous contractor did a lousy job trying to match the heavy knockdown texture on my walls. Jonathan re did it and a couple other walls and it looks great. Jonathan is very professional and I highly recommend him. I will definitely use him again.

Everything was fine with Pearl Painting. I had no problem with them and the end job was fine. They got it done in a plenty of time. They were very personable. I think the owner was the one that came out in the end and did the job. He's very pleasant to work with. The pricing was good, I thought the job would cost a whole lot more than that. For responsiveness, I don't think I waited that long, of course I expect to wait for a few days. They were there when they said they would be.

They called and indicated that they were running late. Thearrived at therevised timeestimate and began to repair the drywall immediately. The repair was done quickly and looks great.

The painters arrived on time, worked very hard and did a very professional job I have solid oak woodwork and door frames that they were careful not to get any paint on them I would certainly use again!~

Pearl Painting arrived on time, immediately repaired the problem, cleaned-up any rubble/garbage resulting from the repair. Very professional.

Mark did a good job of covering the old blue paint. The special deal was for 8 hours of labor. The job took longer than that to complete, I had him come back to complete the job. They were very easy to work with. I thought the Angie's list deal of $250 for 8 hours of labor was a very good deal for the work I had done.

We are very happy with the work performed by Pearl Painting. We had a number of old electrical fixtures removed and replaced. Pearl came and repaired all of the holes left from the old stuff, and did a great job. You can't even see where the repairs are. They showed up on time, were very clean, and did a great job. We had purchased the Angie's List deal, and they finished all of the work within the 3 hours in the deal. So no extra costs, no out of pocket and no upsell. Yeah!! We have another repair to do in our laundry room later in the year, and will absolutely be calling Pearl Painting to get it done. A+ Service.

It took almost 6 to 8 weeks from the time I purchased the service until I could be scheduled. Two workers arrived on time. I showed one representative the work to be done. They quickly got to work. The one worker who was to repair the crack in my ceiling asked for advice from the other worker. Where upon the other worker, Approx. 6ft 2in. and 220 lbs., stepped on my bed to inspect the crack! After I asked him not to step on the bed, they both moved the bed. The work was adequate for drywall patching. The special I paid for was for 3 hours and they were there a little over an hour. They never asked if there was anything else. They said good-bye and left as quick as possible.

Jonathan did an excellent job repairing the plaster around the window. He and his partner laid a tarp down to protect the carpet and taped paper around the window and on the side of my china cabinet to prevent damage. They caulked the window on the outside and repaired all the water-damaged plaster on the inside. When the job was finished, all of the old plaster was cleaned up and the job looks great.

We have used Pearl Painting twice now and we are very pleased with his workmanship. He makes sure the job is done right instead of other companies that cut corners. We plan to use him in the future for several painting needs we have as we know what to expect. As well his pricing is very fair.

It was great! They showed up as requested and completed the job efficiently. Took care with covering the floor and sweeping up afterwards. There was a significant crack in the ceiling and extra steps were taken to make sure that the repair holds up. I would definitely use Pearl Painting in the future. Very professional and attentive to detail.

I can't remember all the details, because it's been so many months. I didn't review them right away, because of a tragedy in my family. As stated above, I hired 2 painters for the day. I would not do this kind of deal again. When the day is over, you're left with whatever they didn't finish. I will only hire based on the cost to finish the entire job in the future.

Jonathan and his team have worked for us in the past. This time, as previously, he showed up on time and his 4 man crew, led by Anthony, worked and worked and worked. The previous job required lots of cutting in a master bedroom closet because my wife wanted white shelves with brown walls, which seemed impossible to me, but Jonathan & his team handled it with ease. They also painted a dressing table in the master closet that had been a dated blonde wood finish. They primed it and painted it white and it looks great. This job was an enormous amount of work and I have to say that we have been so pleased that Jonathan is painting 2 bedrooms, and another living room wall this coming week. Jonathan answers his cell phone personally or returns a message promptly. He is very experienced. He is really "old school," and I mean that in the most positive sense. No work is done without drop cloths being in place. Jonathan and Anthony, besides working themselves, are constantly supervising and training the painters. When I heard Jonathan talking to a newer painter, Jonathan didn't just tell the other painter to do something. Jonathan explained to the painter why, and how it affects the final product. Jonathan wants to have all of his painters be as proficient and conscientious as Jonathan is. Jonathan is a professional in every sense of the word. I have read other reviews of Pearl Painting. Some have commented that you can smell cigarette smoke on Jonathan. Well, Jonathan is a smoker. However, I have to tell you that he has been in our home multiple times for many hours. Neither my wife or I smoke and, as health care providers, we are very sensitive to smoke. I have never seem him smoke. There has NEVER been a smoke smell in our home. If someone decides not to use Jonathan because they can small a cigarette, that person is really missing the boat. I thought his price was very fair. He is not the cheapest and he is not the most expensive but, in my opinion, he is simply the best painter I have ever dealt with. Jonathan has great integrity. On a previous job, he had to leave for an hour and said, "I owe you an hour." The next quote he gave me, which was months later, Jonathan remembered, and added an extra man-hour at no charge. I don't know how much more you can ask of someone than to be available by phone, on-time, use quality people that you welcome into your home, reasonably priced, and do a spectacular job.

Jonathan came into my home and picked apart whatever work the previous owners did on my house (which is why I am hiring someone?). Then he continued to talk about himself, himself, his son, oh and himself some more throughout the entire estimate period. To top it off on his way out the door he said that my 6 month old son had weak arms because he wasn't crawling yet... who says that? If you are looking for a project and want to listen to a painter talk about how well he has done in life go ahead and hire him. BTW he charges $2.22 per square foot for his services. Just a tip for the future Jonathan, I am hiring a painter, please talk about your skills and how awesome you can make something by showing excitement and creativity for the project at hand.

Work was completed to satisfaction.

On time, left the work area clean, and did multiple drywall patches for us.

He said it would cost an extra $500 in additional to the $69 already paid so I didn't have them do the work.

After some miscommunication in the beginning, this project was completed. I determined upon review that the miscommunication was because I did not receive one of their emails although I was able to confirm it was sent. I think the problem occurred because of my computer malfunctioning. The work was completed on time. The quality of the work was excellent.

Not well. It took forever to get them out to do the work. I guess they had a great response to the Groupon but couldn't keep up with the work. I had 3 rooms I wanted done. They seemed to rush the job and the customer service wasn't great - I felt like they really didn't want to be here. I'm still scraping little bits of paint splatter off the tile.

Provider was very short with me on phone; seemed like I was bothering him. He seemed like he did not want to take a smaller job unless I got a claim from my insurance company for hail damage. I stated that my insurance company stated my wood paneling damage was not caused by hail and he pressured/strongly urged me to fight the claim with my insurance company. When I stated that I just wanted a quote to see if I can pay for the repairs without the claim, he stated he would drive by the property and get back to me. Guess what; he never got back to me. Moving on...

I purchased a $69.00 drywall work coupon through Angie's list. The two man crew came out the day that we agreed upon and did the work that was requested. They were professional, punctual and did a great job fixing the drywall hole in my garage. They honored the Angie's list coupon and said that I'm all set after the work was completed. Because of their punctuality and professionalism, I gave them an extra $30.00 tip for a job well done.

Great job. On time, courteous, proficient, and very clean.
