Mike's Drywall Service

Michael was prompt to answer, and easy to schedule (the next morning!). One of his folks, Joey, came out, on time, did a fantastic job, and obviously knew what he was doing. I was surprised what was in involved, so I'm glad I called an expert. Joey was very nice and refit the existing drywall that was cut out. He then also sprayed stucco on the finish that matched the interior of the garage wall real nice. He even cleaned up the drywall dust and debris that was on the floor from the previous contractor that made the cut out. I think only CSI could tell anything ever happened there it was such a nice job. Real nice work, real nice folks, showed up on time, worked smart and diligently, and for exactly the price quoted. Thanks!!

He bid a price that was 5 times more than I found from other contractors.

I needed someone to come the next day, which I wasn't sure would happen. Mike mad room for me and had his guys there at 7:00 am the next morning. His quote was his rate per hour, per guy opposed to an estimate based on pictures. They have great reviews and I trusted they would do a good job, not knowing how long it would take, but trusting they wouldn't sit around wasting time. They showed up on time, got right to work and completed everything by the end of the day. Quality of work was excellent!

Mike was outstanding and professional! I recently purchased my dream home in fountain hills and its not a brand new home. It has acquired a few bruises & bangs over the years. Mike had some very valid tips that ended up saving me a lot of money in the long run. He made my home look amazing! It looks like the house was just built. It was a last minute request and Mike was able to fit us into the schedule quickly. The job was very well done.

Needed immediate drywall repair as this was a rental unit and end of month was here. Called Mike, provided details of what I needed done, and he gave an estimate ($) range over phone. His crew responded at 7a.m. next morning, surveyed the damage, updated Mike, and went to work. Due to material drying time, repairs and sealing carried over to next morning. Mike's crew was prompt, courteous, and professional, leaving the worksite clean and ready for the property management crews to finish with their paint selection.

Job was completed in a timely manner. Workers were on time, professional and friendly. Very happy with the finished work. Would definitely hire in the future as well as recommend to others.

They first came through to survey to the work and made suggestions as to what needed to be done and quote the job. I found their quote to be honest and fair compared to others. Mike and his team pointed out work needed that other bidders did not mention. found their painters to be very personable and discussed various options before starting work that they felt would improve the overall job and my satisfaction. They finished on schedule and were very neat and clean as they worked on the job.

All work was excellent, and Mike stopped by to check the work. I have used him twice before with similar results. My sister-in-law used him too, and she was very happy with his work. Would definitely recommend to others.

Mike coordinated with me ahead of time on extent of damage and best timing for repair as it needed to be coordinated with the new window install. Joey, his tech, was exactly on time in the early morning. Knew extent of damage, plastic down, tools out and completed in no time. Seamless operation and timed perfectly for the window company. Could not ask for more, except to help with some other work needed done on the house. Thank you Team Mike.

Did a great job in the time frame they indicated

The contractor was exceptionally courteous, professional, detailed, on time and performed the repair exactly as stated. No surprises, workers were very nice and respectful of my belongings, and house as well! Eventhough I felt things just a little bit on the higher side of cost; they, are worth it as the work is complete exactly as promised, they are a licensed ROC contractor (a must)! I would use them again in a heartbeat. I'd pay the slightly higher costs associated with a thoroughly done job that is free of stress through the entire project. From bid to completion; it was one smooth process..!

Mike and his crew were fantastic. Their work was fantastic, Mike is amazing and very responsive. I have been a contractor in years past, and must say Mike is by far one of the best contractors I have ever used.

It went very well. We had a very tight dead line and Mikes guys worked as many hours as it took to get us in on time. They worked around all the other activity being done as well which was a lot of electric and IT work being done. We had priority rooms and Mike kept me right on target with his guys. Mike hung, taped and textured all the walls for us and it ended up looking fantastic!

I had just recently moved to Fountain Hills. My water heater leaked during the night, damaging walls in the garage, bedroom and pantry. After the water removal service finished, I needed to find someone to fix the damage. I got estimates from a couple of contractors, but was disappointed that they were booked out weeks in advance. I don't like that they sub-contract, and charge more because of that. Also, I had water damage in the past, and the repair was not done well. So since this was mostly a drywall job, I decided to find someone who specializes in drywall repair. I was happy to find Mike's Drywall. He answered my call right away, and said he could do the job in a couple of days! Also, rather than sending different people to take care of the drywall and painting, the same guy took care of everything. He worked slowly, but carefully and did an excellent job in redoing the drywall and repainting. Looks better than before! Mike (the owner) supervises everything. I pointed out that you could see where the new paint stopped along one wall in the garage (that's all the insurance would pay for) Mike offered to have someone come by and finish the wall. That's what service is about. So glad I went with him rather than a do-it-all contractor.

Mike returned my call within the hour, did the estimate the very next day, and was ready to start that day. The other company we were referred to could not do the job for two week. His crew was efficient, professional, and did quality work. My biggest compliment is their attention to detail with ensuring they laid plastic everywhere to protect furniture from paint and dry walling. I highly recommend Mikes Drywall Service.

This was over a retirement community chapel. They removed the items from under the skylight and covered all areas with both hanging wall plastic and floor covering. Walls were stripped and re-taped, textured, primed and painted to match. Job when finished was to my satisfaction as requested.

Mike and his crew did an excellent job. For some reason my insulation guy couldn't find anyone, I called Mike, he came by and immediately agreed to do this difficult job. He and his crew were extremely punctual, friendly and always went the extra mile to make sure that I was satisfied and that the job was done right. I would hire Mike's Drywall again and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fantastic drywall company.

Everything about the experience was good. Had water damage due to repeated roof leakage. Mike and his guys replaced and repaired affected drywall including high ceiling. Highly recommended!

Mike and his crew arrived each morning at the scheduled time, and were very professional in their routine. They took the extra time to hang plastic for dust control. and were very considerate of noise and any possible inconvenience they may have caused me. They had to match the texture from my existing drywall, and it matched perfectly. Mike oversaw his crew, and carefully inspected every detail. His painter was a really nice young guy who really cared about how I felt about the completed job. Self pride that you don't always get these days. I left my house open with my valuables each day and felt confident that my things were safe. my trust was not unfounded as it turns out. One of the days I was gone from the house, the young painter found an unmarked envelope containing a good sum of money that had been long forgotten, and never hesitated to return it to me. I've flipped several houses, working with different contractors, and I know good from bad. This was my own personal home and I am very happy that I used the best.

I've used Mike's Drywall three times in the last 7-8 years. He was first recommended to me by an electrician I used to install a patio fan, resulting in two large holes in the family room wall where he needed to "snake" the wiring. He said Mike specialized in "small to moderate" jobs. The work was completed quickly, in a quality fashion, and at a good price. Several years later, I used Mike to repair water-damaged ceilings, walls and closet shelving from a leaking roof. The work was fairly extensive, but was completed in a timely fashion at a competitive price and has stood the test of time. The job took 2 days; one for repair, one for finishing and painting; and the workers cleaned up all the debris. Last year, I put on a new roof and called Mike back to repair some additional water damage that had occurred in the interval. Again, the job was completed timely and professionally. He also identified and repaired several settling cracks he identified in the walls. I would not hesitate to use Mike again or recommend him to others.
