The owner of Mike's Drywall Services, Inc. is Michael S. Kochen. He began his career in the home remodeling business in 1978 alongside his father, at the young age of 13. Through the next five years of working with his dad, he discovered that the most important aspects of running a business are to be prompt, reliable, honest and efficient in all the work that you do. This has become the mantra for all employees who work with Michael. We understand that you can't be fully satisfied with the work we've done if you aren't even sure what that work entailed. We thoroughly detail the projects we complete for you, such as roof repairs or other repairs around the home, so that you can be certain of the fact that you've received a fair price and that we adequately fixed the issue. When it comes to the drywall repair for your property, we can also provide you with comprehensive acoustic/popcorn removal services. This service is perfect for anyone in the middle of an extensive remodeling project. If the walls within your property have received any damage, such as gouges, holes or other issues, we provide plaster repairs that will make your wall look brand new. We will also provide you with fixes for any settlement cracks you've discovered in your property. These cracks can reduce the durability of your settlement. Great job, Mike!!
Description of Work: I needed to move two interior walls, add electrical and plumbing service to the room and repair many drywall cracks and holes throughout the house. Mikes crew was very professional and completed the work in about 5 weeks. I was absent most of that time, however, when a question came up, Mike would call me and tell me the problem and we would work through it together. His crew also painted when all walls were done. Outstanding job.

Everything turned out great.
Description of Work: After suffering water damage from a leak, we had Mike's Drywall Service come out to do the repair work after the demo crew left. Five rooms had the drywall removed from the floor up to about three feet. Mike's crew did a great job of replacing the missing drywall; you can't even see any seams in the wall! We also had Mike's crew remove some arches between rooms that we no longer wanted. Mike worked out the details with our engineer to get the job done right. The arches were removed providing a more open look and feel. Mike's crew added a walk-in pantry to what used to be an open area. Some plumbing, electrical and HVAC work had to be done by people Mike suggested and worked with in the past. Mike's crew painted the entire interior and did an awesome job. I usually do my own painting, and am pretty good at it, but his crew did far better than I could have done. Everything turned out great! All of the work was done while I was 1,900 miles away. So Mike and I had a lot of communications back and forth to get things done. It took about 6-8 weeks to get everything done.

Well. Highly recommend.
Description of Work: I needed to quickly rehab my mom's townhouse during a short trip to Phoenix after I moved her to Ohio. Mike's crew spent 2.5 days doing the necessary repairs to the wall and ceiling, and painted the entire place. They were on time, polite and professional. He even added a third painter the first two days to stay on my timeline, and worked around the carpet installation.

The results are excellent for this latest repair. In the past Mike has done extensive drywall repair for me. The job included complete removal of wallpaper, surface restoration where needed and refinish of all joints in three rooms. There were a few hole repairs to be done throughout the house as well. The knockdown finish in the three rooms and for the hole repairs was a perfect match to the rest of the house. Mike repainted all the popcorn ceilings in the house at the same time with excellent results. After several years they still look new. Mike repaired a large section of drywall a few years ago when the plumber opened it up to find a pipe leak. Again, the repair was well done and the knockdown finish matched perfectly. The price for the repair was fair and reasonable. I will call Mike's Drywall Service for any future repairs.

Contacted to do drywall repair... it rained during the time of the work and the roof leaked which ruined the drywall job. Most helpful with also fixing the roof and repairing the drywall. Very professional and thorough & provided a detailed invoice. I never give anyone straight As but this company deserves it.

This is the 3rd time I've used Mike's services in the past 12 years. He stopped by to give me an estimate, then returned with 2 workers who repaired the damage on Day 1 and re-painted the walls on day 2. They were very careful to prevent damage to surroundings and finished product was "good as new". They specialize in this type of work.
Description of Work: Repair and painting of drywalls, resulting from leaking roof. There were 3 major areas - an archway and two wall/ceiling joints, plus several smaller crack repairs due to settling of structure.
