Joe C. Had worked with us on some major projects before. He had completed them professionally and to the highest standards - see prior review. As I indicated in that review he did not respond well to one call for assistance. Several years latter we ran into each other in town. He remembered me and offered to make up for the error. I was impressed with is willingness to repair our relationship and that he remembered me and the difficulty we had so many years latter. This speaks to his professionalism and the personal care he puts into his work. On this occasion I asked him to fix out kitchen sink which was leaking everywhere. He responded very quickly and did the excellent job I expect from him. I will call him again.

Flawless job. Joe has been my plumber for six years. He and his staff have handled everything from flushing the water heater to replacement of kitchen sink and bath sink faucets and spouts, reverse osmosis dispenser, washing machine faucet valve repair, replacement of hose bib and vacuum breaker, etc. He has worked with parts that I've provided rather than requiring that he furnish them, and his pricing is always straightforward and fair.

Everything went perfect, except that they do not do drywall repair.

It was okay. Their price was a little high.

Whenever I need a plumber, I will call Joe Ciota. His honesty and willingness to help are sincerely appreciated.

Problem resolved. Everything is working great. Have already recommended Joe to several of my friends.

On two occasions Joe has come to my rescue on short notice. Although he is as busy as any plumber, Joe has empathy for people with emergencies and manages to work them into his busy day. In 2011 he replaced a water heater for me, and in May of 2012 he repaired a tub faucet valve, both on short notice. Joe's work is excellent, his prices are competitive, and he answers his phone! He will continue to be my plumber.

We had to have our air conditioning company remove an air handler before the project was started and replace it after the project was finished. Joe was phenomenal throughout. He was on time and did he said he was going to do. He is a very pleasant and knowledgable man. He surrounds himself with other really good professionals and has given us some good referrals for other projects.

Joe's performance is uneven. He is personable and clear and fair with pricing. I knew exectly what the job would cost and he provided detail concerning how the job would be handeled. He also showed up on a saturday (without charge) when our main water line into the house broke and was dumping water onto our front lawn. He was my hero that day. The two showers he instaled, however, have had problems. In both cases when the shower is on, half of the water still comes out of the tub spigot, waisting water and reducing the amount of water comming out of the shower head. I asked him several times to fix it, but he kept saying that he was "waiting for a part". Finally I called him (it was early in the morning, but he said he started every day very early) to follow up on our problems with the showers and he asked me "not to call him again". So I will not. The two showers were "special items" but in both cases he ordered them and installed them, if he did not know how to install them properly, I wished he would have asked us to choose differently so that we could have gotten them installed properly.

Got the bid from Joe. He said that he would do the work but that I lived a little outside his range of Fountain Hills. Nevertheless, the bid was in keeping with others and he gave me some good advice when dealing with other companies. He was very responsive, seemed to know his business and was professional (and helpful!). I would use Joe if I lived closer to Fountain Hills or north Scottsdale. He struck me as being honest.

He answered his cell phone, on his way back to town. I told him about my emergency, and he was here within minutes. It worked really well, he solved the problems. I obviously needed a new water heater because the old one was over 15 years old. He got me a new one, installed it, stayed with me until everything was done, and cleaned up the mess. The new water heater works beautifully. I have no complaints what so ever. He carted away the old one, cleaned up everything really well. The water heater is in a utility closet that opens up to the outside and he just did a beautiful clean up. The next morning, his assistant came back and installed a pipe that makes it impossible for the water heater to leak inside the utility closet. It was a very good price that he gave me.

We called Joe Ciotta Plumbing when our disposal stopped working. We called him because of the positive ratings from Angie's List and he is in Fountain Hills were we live. Unfortunately we called right after the freezing weather we had and Ciotta Plumbing was very busy. We had to wait almost a week for the appointment. But that was due to the number of burst pipes they were attending to in the area and our disposal was not an emergency. Mr Ciotta was right on time for the appointment. He was very nice and professional and showed us how to reset the disposal in the future. He did not charge us the full basic house call fee since the work only took him about five minutes. Mr Ciotta will definitely be the plumber we will call in the future.

We had a slab leak in a property we had purchased. Joe did a re-plumb on 4 different hot water faucets. They had to reroute the water lines and in the process had to go through one wall. We were told upfront what needed to be done and how he would go about it. We were also aware that the drywall would need to be fixed once they were done so they could access the hall vanity plumbing.They gave us the best of 3 estimates and did exactly what they said they would do. They arrived on time Joe and his helper they but in a 8 hour day took a lunch did the job as promised then explained that the pressure valve on the front of the house was reading high asked if we wanted him to replace it stating they were still under the time and estimate given so the cost would only be the price of the valve. They replaced the valve in a very timely manner cleaned up gave us the bill which was well under what the original estimate was. This was a plus and made us even happier with his service. There are a lot of companies who would give you and estimate and then add a few dollars here and there or stretch the time to make it more but I don't think I have ever hired one that actually told you this was a estimate and that the bill would not exceed the estimate and then actually ended up being more than $400.00 under the original estimate. Joe did everything he could to keep the drywall repair to a small 8"x8" square that had to be repaired and did all of the other faucets so you could not see where they had to go through the walls. Joe was professional and knowledgeable at his job did not waste time and did excellent work. JOE CIOTTA Plumbing is a company I would use again.

GREAT! JOE RESPONDED QUICKLY TO MY PHONE MESSAGE AND WE WERE ABLE TO SCHEDULE A TIME TO GET THE WORK DONE EVEN WHILE I WAS OUT OF TOWN. THE LEAK IS FIXED. I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE JOE AGAIN.

WE BROKE A PIPE ONE MORNING AND CALLED JOE. HE IS VERY BUSY SO WE HAD TO WAIT A DAY OR TWO FOR HIM TO COME. HE DID COME THE DAY AND TIME HE STATED. HE WAS VERY NICE AND DID A GREAT JOB. HIS PRICE IS ABOUT THE GOING RATE FOR PLUMBERS.
