First month they came in I told them that it was just a clean-up and mow the lawn. They told me they were going to charge $125 an hour. They said they would do a general clean-up. They charged me $240 to mow the lawn and $17.40 to remove the debris, 56.25 to repair parts for the irrigation. That totals 313.75 which is a great deal more than what I'm spending for landscaping. They showed up on the 11th of last month for just short of $400. This is a bogus bill. I was home that day, they didn't mow the lawn. The lawn had been marked off because they're doing a massive dig-up of the street. The lawn has been painted over by the various companies for construction purposes, and there are flags posted around the perimeter. They said they were here for two hours, they weren't here for 25 minutes. I was in the house waiting for them to do the mowing. They were gone and the bill was $394. I have it all documented.

They did initial clean up and I have continued to use them for maintenance. They do a nice job.

I have been using Ferraro Landscaping for about 4 months now since we bought our house. They have really spruced up our landscaping , adding cactus, removing trees killed by frost, and replacing an old irrigation system. We have them come twice a year for maintenance fall and spring. I have 5 zones. I always take a few bids for these kinds of jobs. I already had some plans. I wanted somebody who would do the designing work, planting, take care of the irrigation systems and come back later for maintenance. Ferraro could do all of that and they were local. They did a good job. I found them in the local yellow pages. Landscapers are dime a dozen in Arizona. I have used a lot of landscapers before and I know a lot of different landscaping places. A lot of them are very expensive or very cheap. The cheaper ones may not be around for a long time and they may not do a very good job. Ferraro has been around for a long time, provide good service and are going to be around for some time. I told them what I had in mind. They offered suggestions on the types of plants that could be planted at various places and different ideas for each period. They did the job in a weeks’ time. They had a crew of 10 people. They had to dig up a lot to replace the irrigation system. So it was good that they completed the work quickly and the mess was cleared. They did a good job. I did a lighting job too. It looks very nice. They added to what was here and enhanced the general looks. Now they are back doing the maintenance. I clearly marked out the budget for the project.
