ceramic tile
+ -1 moreI was given an estimate for them to do 2 small tile jobs in our home. Price was fair and I felt he was professional. Hired him to start the next week. Unfortunately they did not show up on the start date and failed to call until 2 days later. He was very apologetic but I hired someone else to do the job.

+ 0 moreWe lived in the home that Chris was working on. He promised to be done in 3 weeks and he was done in 3 weeks (1800 sq ft of tile) !! he taught us how to block off all the rooms with plastic so NO dust would come in. The home is 3500 sq ft. there was NO dust in the rooms we blocked off!! You could hardly see through the rooms that he was working in when using jack hammers to remove the old tile. But the dust stayed out of our other rooms! I highly recommend Chris and the individuals he works with.
Description of Work: This was a natural tumbled Travertine Tile Installation of 1800 sq ft. Chris and his crew removed existing tile and carpeting. There are several cracks in the cement floor on the 1st floor. He used a special black 4' wide roll of (not sure what its called) to cover the cracks so the tile will Not crack as these cracks expand and contract. On the 2nd floor he suggested using a thicker base because the floor was so wide, did not want it to sag in the future and crack the tile. He did a spcifically technical border along the walkways with 4 x 4 tiles that had a pattern. It was not always a straight line, the curves were perfect the way he lined up the pattern on the tile when cutting it.! He also did two (2) Fireplaces that are 12” above the floor. Also did several insets in the walls as well. All I can say is they are Perfect! It is now 3-4 years later and the tile job is perfect. Never had a problem. We are calling him now to get an estimate for another home we own.

+ -1 moreOVERALL JOB TOOK LONGER, BUT THEY RAN OUT OF TILE SO NOT THEIR FAULT. CLEAN UP WAS FANTASTIC.
Description of Work: REMOVED TILE AND REPLACED WITH NEW.
