Climate Care Pro

We just recently purchased a house with a two year old AC unit. We ended up having two HVAC companies and a home inspector check out our AC unit/air handler and tell us that the AC unit/air handler had the worst install job that they have ever seen. The main things were that the condensate line was installed in front of the air filter so you can’t change the air filter, insulation wasn’t installed in various places, and the AC unit was 1 ton too small for the house. I called Climate Care Pro since their sticker was on the air handler. I asked the guy from Climate Care Pro if he installed the unit and he said yes. I asked him about the quality of the work and if he had an invoice. He said that he didn't install these things because the guy that hired him wanted as cheap of a job as possible. He went on to say that he didn't have an invoice because it was a cash job. He never once asked me if there was something he could do to correct the installation issues. I understand that the customer requested that a cheap job be done but I've spoken to a couple of other AC companies since speaking with Climate Care Pro and they all have said that these are things that have to be installed. Because the condensate line was placed in front of where the air filter would go, there is no way to change the air filter. Preventing the air filter from being changed would be like building a car but not creating a way for the oil filter to be changed. Who in the world would do this?! Shame on Climate Care Pro! Even though their customer requested as cheap of a job as possible these people should have pride in their work! Not to mention doing cash jobs is unethical and against the law. Please note that I did not do business with Climate Care Pro. I did try to report them to BBB but since I didn’t hire them to do work I was not able to get any help from BBB. Climate Care Pro did see my comment to BBB and responded by saying that they did install the AC unit for the previous owner and that I was just mad and trying to get money from Climate Care Pro since I wasn’t able to get money from the previous owner. They did not deny doing a cash job, they did not offer to provide the invoice, and they did not offer to correct the issues with the AC installation.

Basic AC check-up and maintenance call. We signed up for an Annual Maintenance agreement (Gold Club) and they performed semi-annual service and maintenance. We kept for about 18 months. Very friendly and knowledgeable technicians and staff. However, it seemed that they were always trying to sell us on a major overhaul, a newer system, or some other major repair work, but also indicted that the system was operating within expected range for its age (7 years). We probably do need to replace some components, but we didn't like the hard sell approach for all of these very expensive and quot;repairs.and quot; Ultimately, we canceled our yearly agreement and sought another firm for service, due to the selling tactics.

A couple days ago my a/c stopped working so I called climate care pro so check it out. They came with in the hour and told me the motor went out and I had to replace it. The service guy was very nice and knowledgeable. He gave me a good price for the parts we needed and didn't even charge me for the service charge or labor which would have been an extra $150.00. He was pretty quick getting the parts and installing them. I would highly recommend this company to my friends and family.

Crew arrived by 5:30 am as promised, quickly removed our 20 year old HVA/C units and by noon had the new system up and running. Temp inside house dropped from 95 to a comfortable 80 within a couple of hours. The two man team was the owner Bartosh Wojtaszyk (Bart) and his helper, Greg and they were quick, clean and professional. The price they originally quoted was what we paid although there was somewhat more work involved in repositioning an inside drainage pipe. There was a $500 off coupon available on their website for installation as well as a 10% senior discount on the original service call we applied to the final bill. They install Westinghouse, Carrier, Trane, York but don't seem to "push" any particular brand, rather help us determine the most efficient and cost effective system for our home. Bart advised me how to obtain the electric co.rebate as well as the Federal Tax Credit for our new, more energy efficient system.
