Description of Work: Best Builder in Flagstaff...and as a bonus he's coordinating our landscaping after the most positive home addition experience I could have dreamed of.

+ 0 moreWe checked many builders through the builders board of registrars, and paid for credit checks. Jim Graves records were clean without complaints unlike other builders in town. (Another builder came out clean but was charging more for less, and kept forgetting about previously agreed upon square footage for the price, didn't care about design and flow, and charged us two thousand dollars for junk sketches). However Jim Graves was top notch on quality, very reasonably priced, and cared about all aspects of design and construction. Jim Graves was 100% on budget with no surprises. He has a degree from Purdue in construction management, and has the highest ethical standards. He uses skilled craftsman for construction phases. One of his homes. a 5000ft luxary, was also featured in Mountain Living Magazine shortly before our construction commenced. The job site was completed on time, and the quality of construction was sighted in recent home appraisal. My experienced opinion is hire him, and tell your friends and family about him. A+++++++

+ -1 moreFilled with integrity...he submitted an estimate, and then did something so rare in building and construction...he stayed precisely on budget! Jim Graves uses highly skilled subcontractors, that do high quality work. The addition is beautiful, and well made. His honesty, integrity, quality craftsmanship at a fair price sets him high above anyone else in town. We researched many builders in town running credit checks, and checking with the Registrar of Contractors before choosing Jim Graves. Some builders failed these checks, some passed but charged too much money, and had short term memory when it came to previously agreed upon square footage and the price. But not Jim Graves.... and quot;zeroand quot; problems, and years to look forward to in enjoyment of our new home. Highly Recommend...Completely Satisfied!
Description of Work: Home addition: We added 1048 sq ft of living space by adding a laundry room, bedroom, bathroom, converted existing garage into a living room and bumped it out 12 feet. Plus added a new larger insulated attached garage including a new high efficiency furnace. (Purchasing of flooring, lighting fixtures, doors, bathroom vanity, toilet and bathtub were purchased by owner, and not part of estimate.)
