Amped Electric LLC

I got three quotes to install heat tape on my roof and in my gutters. One of them was Amped Electric, who came highly rated by Angie's List, and was also recommended by another electrician that doesn't do heat tape. Amped Electric's quote came in a little lower than one company and a LOT lower than another company. I believe that this is because Luke thought very hard about my exactly needs--how could we wire this thing with the best balance of it being safe, convenient to use, and cost-effective? Besides that, he spent a lot of time talking to me and explaining all the important things to know about heat tape and my installation. Although all the quotes were professional, I felt the most comfortable having Luke do the job, even price aside. The only hiccup was the day of installation. Luke himself was traveling and there was a bit of miscommunication with his team as far as the plan. His team had a slightly idea from what Luke had told me, and I was uncomfortable changing anything without talking to him. After getting some preliminaries done, Luke's team finally got ahold of him, and we were able to proceed. The installation was successful and the heat tape works great. I would definitely recommend Amped Electric.

Luke at Amped electric has been our "go to" electrician since we bought our house nine years ago. He is prompt and incredibly efficient and reliable. He's expensive, but what good electrician isn't? We wouldn't use anyone else.

I've used this electrician repeatedly over the years, and the company owner is my go-to guy for all things electrical. He's friendly, competent, and prices his work fairly. Unlike some local contractors, he doesn't disdain small jobs, because he knows that small jobs often lead to larger ones. I'm contemplating a major service upgrade, and when I'm ready to begin, Amped Electric will be the first--and likely only--electrician I'll call.
