My two garages are 16 years old and has run through 2 garage door openers in each garage, several spring replacements and fixes for cables that came off the pulleys in the past. Chris (the owner) far exceeded my expectations for removing my old garage doors and replacing them with new, insulated doors. A two car garage and a separate one car garage. He explained to me how to compare the potential providers by detailing the door itself, the type of insulation, the hardware differences and for the installation- making sure the provider doesn't use my older parts vs. replacing 100% of all hardware (e.g. using the existing rails for the new doors vs. installing new rails. He agreed to start in three days and delivered on that promise. Something I really appreciate are things like repairing things that are not part of the garage door assembly like spackling holes drilled by previous company for remote keypad when it was replaced and touching up the paint and fixing an area outside the door area where my garage sidewall touched the floor and had swollen out. He also made sure, in advance, as to the remotes we have for our cars to make sure he programmed the buttons we preferred for each of the two doors. It's difficult these days to signify a 5 star company in performance but A1 Garage Door Service is the best and I'm recommending them to my son's for his two homes in the Valley, friends and neighbors.

Joe was prompt, curtious, and explained what the issues were with our garage door. Finished repair, cleaned up the area. We would call A1 again for additional service.

The tech called when he was on his way and he was timely.

They were quick to come out to do a repair and ended up selling me a whole new door. Then they missed their original appointment and due to miscommunications had me waiting at home on the morning of the original appointment. Once installed the door looks and performs great.

Did a Great Job.

Sloan had reprogrammed the logic board about 10 days earlier, and I happily paid the trip charge and hourly rate even though he was here for less than 10 minutes. The problem started recurring 7 days later. When I called A-1 regarding the recurring problem, Sloan was sent back out to install a new logic board. I paid for the board only, but no trip or labor charge for the return visit. Company's that stand behind their work are ones I prefer to work with.

Friendly and really accommodating

They came out on 3/15 and I gave them a $500 deposit and have not heard from them since 3/15.

The technician was prompt and professional. He installed a new garage door opener and performed some general cleaning and lubing of the door. He got my 20 year old garage door working like new again.

Excellentefficient and courteous, worth it

The A1 service man quickly identified the problem and made the repair necessary. I thought, however, he was trying to frighten me into making other expensive replacement to existing parts that were still working fine.
