Description of Work: Jim Browning was very thorough and professional. He called to ask if he could come early- and he was punctual. He did the outside inspection first as it was very hot at the middle of the day. Then he went room by room, going through a list of items to check. This home was approximately 1,535 sq. ft; included two bedrooms with attached bathrooms; a living room (great room) with a half bath and a den; a big kitchen with dining room; a laundry room and a two car garage. He advised me periodically as to what he was doing and why; what items needed attention; and clearly knew what he was talking about. When I asked, he let me know that he had been in the repair & maintenance field for 25+ years, although in a commercial versus residential arena. That told me that he was well aware of the areas that needed to be checked, beyond just the focused training he had received several years earlier for residential properties. Once the 4 hour detailed inspection was complete, he printed out a preliminary report and went over it with me. The next morning, he emailed a detailed report, including photos, to me. This report will be the starting point for repairs that need to be done to the property prior to moving in.
