They were fine. I would not give them a strong recommendation but I would just say that they were okay.

They were very good and their store is very good. The service was good, but their prices were not as good. We purchased the carpet at another store and they were the ones that actually did the installation. It was interesting because we had already looked at carpet there and then they were the company that was contracted to do the installation. They had a supervisor on site that came and checked to make sure the clean up was good. We were very pleased with their work. They were very friendly and efficient. They were very professional and punctual. They were very good even when we had looked in their store.

We started by visiting their showroom to view flooring options. Dan, the salesperson who helped us, was very knowledgeable and helpful about all the flooring options. He helped us select carpet to replace most of our old carpet, including helping us pick a laminate floor for one room in our house. Dan was very responsive and never pressured us at all. After ordering the products it took about two weeks total to get the products, and they were delivered on time without any problems. Installation was excellent, as we had different installers for the carpet and the laminate, both teams were very meticulous and did a quality job. This was a particularly rewarding experience for us because 2 months earlier we had gone to a competitor to purchase new carpet, hoping to have it all installed in between Thanksgiving and Christmas. After putting almost our entire house in boxes in prep for the install, a week before it was scheduled to be delivered the company called and said there was a mistake made and our carpet would not come in for over another week. This pushed the installation too close to Christmas, which was not acceptable to us. So we decided to cancel that order and start all over at the 1st of the new year. So to start all over with a new company, we were so pleased with the service, the quality of product, and the promises kept from Western States Flooring. Our house had been disrupted for over 2 months, so we were fortunate to have picked Western States to recover. And we were extremely pleased with the price, we not only saved a great deal over what we would have paid with the other company, buy we were able to upgrade a room with a laminate flooring and we still saved money! We were very pleased with Western States. The representation they had, our salesperson Dan, the installers, the price, and the quality of the products. We would certainly highly recommend them for consideration.

They were very professional and informative when we visited the showroom. Sales personnel were not pushy but were available and answered questions quickly. Of five sources checked, they were 2nd lowest in price and carpet.pad quality was somewhat better than the lowest price source. Installation was done well; crew was professional. They moved large furniture as part of the cost quote. We had to do minor repairs to a couple of the furniture items moved so it's a good idea to supervise.

I thought that Western States did a fabulous job for me. They showed up on time and they did exactly what they said they were going to do. They finished everything in 1 1/2 hours. After they were done, they cleaned up everything. I was very pleased with them. They were reasonable in terms of price.

They were very professional, explained everything, worked quickly and were efficient cleaning up after themselves when they were done. Everything was just great except that there were a bunch of tiles that sounded hollow when you walked on them.

They wanted $380 per square foot. I was given the run-around. I wasn't happy with it.

LET ME BEGIN BY SAYING THE CARPET IS LOVELY. NO PROBLEMS THERE. HOWEVER, THE TILE INSTALLATION WAS ANOTHER STORY. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN I WAS IN FOR TROUBLE WHEN THE FIRST THING THE INSTALLER ASKED ME IS IF THE TILE EDGES ARE BEVELED. TURNS OUT THE EDGES ARE NOT BEVELED - JUST A 90 DEGREE SHARP CUT. HE MENTIONED IT'S HARDER TO LAY THESE TYPE OF TILES PERFECTLY FLAT. I ASSUME THEY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING (HA!) AND THEY PROCEED TO LAY THE TILE. IT ALL APPEARS GREAT UNTIL THE GROUT DRIES AND I FIND THAT WALKING ON THE TILE HURTS MY FEET. THERE ARE SHARP EDGES EVERYWHERE AND WALKING BAREFOOT IS PAINFUL. THEY DID COME BACK OUT AND RELAID SEVERAL TILES AND REGROUTED AREAS, BUT OVERALL, I HATE MY FLOOR. EVERY TIME THEY CAME OUT TO REGROUT, THE NEW GROUT WAS DARKER THAN THE ORIGINAL SO I NOW HAVE VARIOUS SHADES OF GROUT THROUGHOUT MY HOUSE. THEY THINK THEY DID AN AWESOME JOB AND VIEW ME AS A PICKY CUSTOMER BUT THEY'RE NOT THE ONES WHO HAVE TO WALK ON THIS CRAPPY FLOOR.

GOOD COMPANY. BEAUTIFUL SHOWROOM WITH LOTS OF IDEAS AND PRODUCT TO CHOSE FROM. INSTALLATION OF CARPET AND TILE WAS EXCELLENT. ON TIME TO APPOINTMENTS AS WELL AS BEING NICE AND CLEAN.

I ENJOYED WORKING WITH DESIGN CONSULTANT MAUREEN STAND. SHE HELPED ME PICK OUT THE PERFECT CARPET FOR MY HOME. THE CARPET INSTALLERS DID EXCELLENT WORK.

IN ADDITION TO THIS PROJECT, WESTERN STATES HAD CARPETED AND TILED THE ENTIRE HOME A YEAR EARLIER. I FOUND THEIR WORK TO BE EXCELLENT. THEY DID A GREAT JOB ON LAYING OUT THE TILE AND PROVIDED SOME FINISHING TOUCHES IN THE TILE LAYOUT BETWEEN THE FAMILY ROOM AND HALL THAT MADE IT LOOK NICE. WHEN I DECIDED TO DO THIS PROJECT OF REPLACING A CARPETED AREA WITH TILE IN THE MASTER BEDROOM, I WANTED WESTERN STATES TO DO IT. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
