THE KNOWLEDGEABLE HANDYMAN

We contacted Wayne and set up a date within the week. He gave us a quote over the phone, which was reasonable. He arrived early, which we appreciated, since we both go to school. He got right to work, and had everything done in about 2 hours. The caulking job he did around the sink was incredible - extremely neat and professional. Everything was in good working order. He also cleaned up afterward. He also replaced a valve that was stuck. Later that night, the valve began to drip a little and we called him. He was able to come out within the next couple of days to replace the valve. He charged just a little under what he quoted, which was also appreciated!! In all, this was a great experience and we will definitely be calling him for other projects!!!

Wayne is an outstanding find and he will be my go to "handyman" for any future projects. He has already completed two jobs for me with complete professionalism.

I contacted Wayne about a week ago and requested a quote on some repairs needed as a result of a burglary. Door jams repaired and a security door installed. Wayne responded to my phone call shortly after and we set up an appointment that afternoon to get an estimate on the job. Wayne had some other things going on that day and wasn't sure of the exact time he would be able to come over, so we agreed on a 1 hour window. He arrived within the window and after looking over the damage gave me estimate of the cost of the work. The price was significantly less then had been quoted to me by other companies who would just install the security door. I hired Wayne on the spot and the work was scheduled to be performed a week from then. On the appointed day, Wayne showed up promptly at the agreed up time and promptly started on the repairs. I'd taken the day off as I really had no prior association with Wayne and had chosen him solely on the recommendations from Angieslist and his personality from our initial meeting. Wayne worked non-stop from start to finish and was pleasant to have around. The workmanship was solid and well done. In the future Wayne will defiantly be my go-to guy for home repairs.

We could not be happier with Wayne. He did some repair work under a kitchen sink for us and also some drywall work in order to get our house ready for sale. He did a great job. After we moved out of our house and after an inspection, there were a few things we needed to fix before the buyers moved in. We had already moved out of state but arranged for Wayne to get into the house. He went to the house, did all repairs...AND...also fed my turtles that I had yet to come back for. Thanks Wayne....you went above and beyond. We would definitely recommend Wayne as he is professional, punctual and knowledgeable.

Wayne was on time and listened to my ideas to make the shower stall more handicapped-accessible for an aging parent. He was great at problem solving and coming up with ideas I hadn't thought of. We talked and brain-stormed and then he went to work and quickly installed the grab bars. They are sturdy and strong. His work was neat and efficient and we were confident that my mother-in-law would be safe using the shower. The caulking job was not quite as neat as the rest of the installation, however.

It went really well. Wayne was able to get to us on a Saturday and he arrived right when he said he would. True to his reputation, he is very knowledgeable and he gave us a ton of information regarding repairs and maintenance for our newly purchased home. It was incredibly helpful.

He would make an appointment and come exactly when he said. He was reliable and responsible. He worked around my schedule. He was very knowledgeable.

Overall it went OK - I was not able to stay at the home with him, which meant that he missed a couple of the jobs I asked him to do - the trim repair work looks great - definite A work there. The drywall work I was less than impressed with - maybe it was because he did not have enough time to do it right.

We were in the process of installing laminate flooring and we decided to pull all the baseboard for a cleaner look. After removing the old baseboard we decided to replace it with new baseboard since the old stuff was in bad shape. This was going to be a do it yourself job but I ran out of time. I called Wayne and explained the projects I needed done and he accepted the job. He was there all day and was very polite. He did a fantastic job on all three things and I would definitely work with him again.

I called Wayne and explained over the phone exactly what I needed, he came to my house a couple days later. While he was here he seemed very unsure; he didn't know where he could get my door and the baseboard (I guess if it's not from home depot, it's too hard). He said he would send me a bid a few days later. After waiting 6 days he sent me an e-mail with no explanation only saying that he was not going to bid the job. Very unprofessional! I sent him an e-mail and he did not respond. His ad and job description clearly states he does interior and exterior walls, so I don't think it was beyond his scope or was it? I am a very reasonable person and I was very kind and not very picky. I actually let him talk me out of some of the things I wanted. i.e., a closet. I went out of my way to go to Angie's List and find someone with a good reputation I do not think i got my monies worth.

It went well. I reached Wayne directly the first time I called and set up an app't for the following week. We are out of state with a friend living in the house needing fixing, and Wayne was good about communicating with our renter and with us long-distance. We were hoping the leaky faucets could be remedied temporarily since we plan to remodel within the next 12 months. Wayne gave a clear diagnosis and we discussed options. We decided to wait to have the faucets fixed when we do the remodel. Wayne was cool with that and we only paid the $45 service call charge.
