PV Interiors Tile and Travertine Cleaning

Shannon's husband and nephew did the work for our home. The quality of the work is good for the price. They seemed to know what to do and did their best to keep from damaging our wood floors or the shower doors. It looks better than I expected. The nephew was just a temporary helper and the husband isn't as picky about how things look as Shannon is. But it turned out good. The husband did a good job of repairing an area of travertine that had a pretty noticeable scratch. It is no longer noticeable.

I contacted PV Interiors because of the company's excellent ratings on Angie's List. On 7/18/11, Wayne and Shannon gave me an estimate of $932.84 inclusive of the Angie's List discount coupon. The tile and grout had not been professionally cleaned in more than 16 years. After explaining the cleaning/sealing process to me, they advised that it would take three of them all day to do the work, and it did. They answered all of my questions--I have a parrot so I was concerned about fumes (none) and noise (power wash would be noisy). They had samples of grout colors with them and we narrowed down the grout colors to two possible matches and they said they would bring both colors with them on the work day and test them on the grout to see which one I liked. I had received an estimate for this work from another company but they did not have samples of grout colors and the estimate was a bit higher and so I decided to go with PV Interiors. They arrived on time and moved a few pieces of furniture from the family room (and moved the furniture back later). We tried out the two grout colors and it was easy to choose between them once they were on the floor. They readily accommodated my request to get my parrot and his cage moved back to his space in the family room as soon as possible by power washing, caulking, grouting, and color sealing the family room/dinette/kitchen area first. My parrot was much happier eating and perching in his familiar spot. Wayne, Shannon, and Greg were courteous, helpful, and professional throughout the process. Although it had not been part of the estimate or discussions, Wayne removed the caulking around a toilet because it was unsightly and uneven and looked unprofessional (even though it had been done by a plumber) and replaced it. Wayne regrouted and recaulked all the areas we had discussed, and then some. I asked what would be a fair price for the extra work they had done and we agreed on adding an $25 to the estimate for a total of $957.84. I am very pleased with their work ethic and the results. My floors look better than I had ever remembered them being--like new. I highly recommend PV Interiors and will call them next year to clean my floors.

This is the kind of small local business that restores your faith in people. They were from the get go knowable, professional, prompt, and attentive. I was amazed by the care that they lavished on our traverine floors. They did an amazing job staining the grout and were equally incredible in repairing damaged tile. The 10+ year old floors look like they were installed yesterday. We would hire them back in a heart beat and recommend them to anyone. We plan to hire them to lay tile for us in the future and only hope they are still in business when we need to have the floors cleaned next. I cannot say whether their price was high or not since theirs was the only estimate that we got. But we felt that the money spent was worth every penny. So we give them a "C" for price where FAIR means appropriate not mediocre. We really cannot recommend this company more highly or strongly.

They arrived just as scheduled. The owners do the work themselves along with an assistant, so they take great care to do a high quality job. I was concerned that removing several cracked tiles would make a big dust mess, but they just chisel the tile out by hand and it doesn't make any dust mess. They do use a shop vacuum that makes it a bit noisy for the several hours that they are working on the project, so just plan to be in another room with the door closed or just leave them to work and go out to lunch. It's been two months since they completed the job and the floor looks better than when it was first installed 12 years ago!

They arrived for a consultation and felt that the original tile work was well done and that they could refurbish it and change the grout color to make it look new again. They are a husband and wife team that work together and take great pride and care in the work to make sure it comes out as good as possible. Shannon is an expert and selecting the correct grout color to enhance the tile color (no easy task). They scheduled a time to come back within a week and complete the job. We had many small tiles and a tremendous amount of grout from them to clean, re-tint and seal. They also replaced broken tiles. They took our shower from dated and dingy to sharp and attractive. Their special epoxy grout makes it easy to keep the grout clean, so no more mildew problems. We also added a glass block shower wall and they had a contractor install it and we love the look!

Responsive to arriving for an estimate, professional in appearance, made excellent suggestions on cleaning and repairs, arrived on time, very helpful in moving larger furniture pieces, work completed on schedule and within budget, outcomes were excellent. It was a pleasure to work with this company. Since we have a nanny who watches our son at home during the week, they were willing to come out on Saturday morning to perform the service. I felt so comfortable having them in my home that we actually left them to work while we went to get breakfast. The results were fantastic - my wife and I commented our tile looks as good as the day it was installed. The results of the work for the price paid is a real value. We plan to use Painted Valley to seal our tile/grout as well as our granite in our new home. I will absolutely refer this company to friends. They deserve all the business they can handle.

They were very thorough and extremely hard workers. They were very courteous and I felt very comfortable having them in our house. They did an absolutely fantastic job. Their work effects were very high. They were on time. They did what they said they were going to do. They explained everything thoroughly before they started. They followup after the job is done. They came back few days later and left an cleaning product for me in case there is a spill. I would use their service in the future too.

In the past couple of years, we have used Painted Valley several time for various floor projects. PV did an outstanding job, at our home, for Carpet Cleaning and Bathroom Tile/Grout refinishing, so we decided to hire PV to install 177sf of Travertine Tile, in our Guest room. The results were fantastic, the experience, as always with PV, very enjoyable. Wayne and Shannon are outstanding people to work with and deliver absolutely outstanding results, Wayne helped us the move several pieces of bulky furniture out and back into of the guest room, which was a tremendousness help. PV, in our opinion, is the best contractor/services provider in the Phoenix area, that we have use for our home maintenance and service needs. As business owners, Wayne and Shannon are very professional, courteous, on time and honest, and just nice people to work with.

Painted Valley is WONDERFUL!! I highly recommend them!! They showed up on time, did a phenomenal job cleaning my tile and grout, and were absolutely wonderful to do business with. I will use them again and again.

It was a pretty complex job that involved a lot of work. They did an excellent job, took their time making sure the job was well-done and it was great overall. They are very professional, they are on time and they do high quality work.

Shannon and Wayne deserve an A+ in our book. They made our badly soiled kitchen floor and bathrooms look like new. I actually think the ceramic tile is beautiful where before I thought it was unattractive. They recolored the grout that looked impossible to clean! My husband commented on how hard they worked and how professional they were. Our feelings are that they do not charge enough for the excellent service that they provide!

I emailed the company and they responded within 24 hours. Met a fews days later for an estimate which was very competitive and they also did a great job of explaining the process and approach to bringing our flooring back to life. Indeed we have not been disappointed with the final results. Our flooring looks fantastic with new grout in some areas and a shower that looks virtually brand new. I highly recommend Painted Valley Grout.

We got three bids, and theirs was in the middle. They repaired some "cleaning chemical" stains on the shower travertine and the floor, as well as cleaning and sealing everything. Very timely, and did thorough work.

Overall it was a great experience and I will use again in the future.

Our house is almost 6 years old, and the grout was pretty darkened in many areas. We have used a high-quality steam cleaner, but it really doesn't do much for removing dark stains in the grout. The tile had also become fairly dirty (we have a child, family member with walker, and a dog), and detracted from newly painted interior. Shannon was extremely friendly and took the time to come to the house in advance to take measurements and explain the different methods they have available to clean & seal. We chose the more expensive path, feeling it would save time and money in the long run. She helped us pick out a color that matched the original grout (some of which had been covered by rugs since new, so were not darkened), and they spent a good amount of hours cleaning and sealing on a day my wife was available. All in all, a very pleasant experience and we now have floor tile that looks the way it did when we moved in... something I hadn't realized had changed so much over the years! I don't spend nearly as much on home maintenance and upkeep as many other families do, and consider this money well spent. I'd recommend them to my best friend or family member!

Shannon was pronpt in coming over and supplying an estimate. Discussed the advantages and limitations of various options. We accepted the estimate and an appointment was made. Shannon was exacly on time for the work. She did more than we expected. We where very pleased with the outcome.

A young lady came out and she was very nice. She was punctual, courteous, and she stayed quite a while to explain various options. We haven?t decided if we are going to do that or just redo the whole bathroom so we haven?t called them back yet. The price seemed reasonable for what she was saying.

Excellent. I think it's important to communicate what you do and what you dont like. If you find something you want redone or touched up in a different way tell the folks and they fixed it promptly. This company show's true pride of original ownership running and working the business. Which is always the sweet spot to do business with any company.
