Mark is very professional. He showed up on time. He introduced himself and looked at the pool to assess how much calcium buildup is on the tile. Mark went right to work. He brought all his equipment and went to town. First he lowered to water line to just below the tiles. Mark got in the pool and carefully went around the pool bead blasting the tiles. After he completed the work, he sprayed mineral oil on the tiles. Mark cleaned up, loaded his equipment in the back of his truck and left. Prior to leaving Mark asked if I had anymore questions before leaving. Mark's prices are comparable to other bead blasters. I believe you pay for what you get. I highly recommend Mark for your pool work and bead blasting.

I have several high end investment properties that I have used Arizona Bead Blasting for in the past and I have NEVER been disappointed!! He was not the cheapest bid I received, but when dealing with high priced homes; I wanted someone who knows what they are doing, who has been in the industry for a while, and will stand behind his work. Mark was a pleasure to deal with - he was punctual, professional and without question; an expert in the field. I will gladly pay a little bit extra to have an expert complete the work.... I use him EVERY year for the last 6 years and he has always delivered excellent results!

Because of his 'A' ratings on Angie's List, I called Mark to schedule a cleaning of pool tiles in my small play pool. I stated that I would like to have the cleaning performed as soon as possible because I was having my deck and other areas resurfaced and that I would like to the the tiles cleaned prior to start of that work. Mark suggested that he could do the job on the upcoming Sunday if that was suitable to me. I told him that if he doesn't mind working on a Sunday, that would be ok with me. So, the Sunday morning time was scheduled. On Sunday morning, I received a call from Mark saying that a personal issue has made it impossible for him to do the job that day. After some discussion, it was agreed upon that he would come the next day (Monday) by 1:00 pm to perform the tile cleaning. He was a 'no-show' at 1:00 pm. At 2:00 pm I called Mark and left a message to call me with the approximate time he would be arriving. Still a 'No Show' at 3:30 pm and no call back to let me know when he may arrive. I called again at 3:30 pm and again left a message requesting an arrival time. It is now 6:00 pm with no call back from Mark, so I called Mark and left another message that I would be looking for someone else to do my tile cleaning. This is the first bad rating I have had to give to an Angie's List provider. I really do not like proving bad reports, because there could always be valid underlying reasons for something like this happening. Perhaps Mark had serious problems that prevented him from showing up as scheduled or from responding to my voice mails. If he cares to respond and explain the reason for such unprofessional behavior, I would be willing to adjust or remove this report accordingly.

After obtaining several bids, we selected Arizona Bead Blasters to clean our pool tile. It had been approximately 4 years since we had done this and the tiles were really crusted with calcium. Mark made an appointment with us and after measuring the pool and giving us a final price proceeded with the cleaning. To protect the tile finish, he decided to use Epson Salts, instead of glass beads, as most other tile cleaners use. One nice benefit of Epson Salts, is that any residue dissolves. The finished job was fantastic. The tiles and water feature looked brand new and we could not have been happier.. If you want a professional, reasonable and knowledgeable tile cleaner, I highly recommend Mark and his company.
