Repairman shows up, uses a snake on clog. Goes outside. To check under house. Finds a leak in the water pipe. Says it is spurting 100 gallons every 10 minutes but he can't repair it, he will have to send someone out on Monday to see to that. He then charged $218.81. When the workman shows up, he is going to do a camera. He said it would cost $485.50. I said No. That is too expensive after I had already paid for a snake and it seemed to be ok. He then went out to his truck for about 10 minutes. Returned and said the cost would be $261.78. He then told my husband that the leak needed to be replaced, 18 feet! Only needed to repair or replace about 5 or 6 inches. Charges $2782.50. Then he came back inside and ran the camera again. Said he needed to replace 18 feet of drain pipe. He gave us the part he said he replaced, it was about three feet. Charged us $2782.50. This work took place over a period of five days, at approximately 2 or 3 hours a day. On the last day, they all showed up in two trucks. Went to the backyard, looked at the house and the hole in the ground where they repaired the water line. Told us the had to go for parts. We're gone for about 1 1/2 hrs. With no parts. Two men went under the house, with a light cord. The leader of this group asked me where was the closest place to get bottled water for these guys. I told him, and he disappeared. The other men were under the house. After two hours my husband unplugged the light cord. After 4 hours, I called the office to find out where they were. About 20 minutes later the one who went after water, shows up out front. The two men under the house come out, yawning and stretching. They had been asleep. The driver came in the house, opened both drain caps, left tools on the floor, gathered up their tools and left. After half an hour I called the affice again, and asked when they would be back to finish up. I was told they were finished. I told her that none of the mess was cleaned up and they had left tools in the house. Besides, they had used a jack-hammer to remove cement to fix a pipe. It was when I called about the cement being repaired I was told, " we don't do cement! If you want it reoaired, do it yourself or call someone to come do it! I am angry, I am upset, and I feel like these unscrupulous operators need to be stopped! We talked to the Manager, or owner, he came by to check out the work, and all he and one of the workers did was sneer at us and act like we deserved this nasty treatment. This company preys upon the elderly, and takes advantage of anyone who expects honesty and integrity in the people they hire to do work for them. The amount of work, and the 'total' amount of Tim should have cost around $600, instead it cost more than $6000.

Crooks!! Absolutely horrific customer service. After 5 calls and voice mails left in 12 days I finally received a call back. They came out for a clogged kitchen drain and never checked the p trap. After calling another plumber out that plumber cleared our p trap and our drain unclogged. Pipetech wanted to cut through our masonry block wall to fix it at the cost of $1800. With that said they charged us $400 for the visit and never unclogged our drain. They refuse to refund our money for their gross misdiagnosis of the problem and again they never fixed the problem. They also tried to get us to call our insurance company and told us sincel they had to cut into the exterior wall we could probably get a new kitchen out of it. They are all around dishonest.

Do Not Waste Your Money With Pipetech They do not stand behind their work. Their preventative maintenance agreements are worthless. In May 08, we had Pipetech out to our house for an advertised special. The plumber recommended, among other things that we replace one electric water heater. The total service call was $2175 including $812.93 for new water heater, and $630 for 4-year preventative maintenance agreement. My feeling was that this was very expensive, even for plumbing, but that I was at least getting quality products and service in return. I was wrong. Pipetech came out in 2009 and 2010, to inspect and maintain our plumbing, including the new water heater. On August 27, 2010, we had a catastrophic failure of the new water heater, with water damage to our carpets. Pipetech said that they would cover parts but not labor to replace the 27-month old water heater, which they had installed, and then inspected just 3 months before the failure. They would do nothing for the water damage. They demanded over $300 (on a Friday afternoon) for the repair, or they wouldn't replace the water heater. I refused to give in, and got another water heater from another plumber on Saturday (at a cost of $900). In summary, we replaced a functioning water heater on Pipetech's advice and paid them to inspect and maintain it. In return, we got water damage, no hot water, aggravation, and a demand for more money. This is unacceptable.

The last visit they did not call us for to schedule. I called them and talked to the receptionist and told them we did not get called for the maintenance. They scheduled it with us for today the 16th of April, they did not call and they did not show.

They were very professional and kept their word on all the work that they did. They were very trustworthy and did just what they needed to do. I liked the guys that came out and would use them again for sure.

I liked them because they were quick and efficient, and they came right away when I needed them. However, I think they should be a bit better at cleaning up after themselves. They are coming to my house again next month for duct cleaning.

The job turned out to be very difficult and took the better part of two days. Everything that could go wrong, did (not their fault) but they hung in there and completed the job.

HE WAS KNOWLEDGABLE, BUT KEPT WANTING ME TO BUY EXTRA THINGS THAN WHAT I ASKED HIM TO COME FOR. EXAMPLE HE TRIED TO SELL ME A SERVICE CONTRACT FOR $400 DOLLARS AND A NEW WATER SOFTENER FOR $2000. I JUST WANTED THE LEAK FIXED!

THEY HAVE VERY FAIR RATES. THEY MENTIONED THAT THE SYSTEM WAS IN GOOD CONDITION AND DIDNT NEED ANY UNNECESSARY WORK. THEY DIDNT TRY AND PUSH EXTRA SERVICES/WORK.

THE TECHNICIAN WAS GOOD, BUT THE SUPERVISOR WAS UNTRUTHFUL. THE PRICES WERE HIGH AND THEY MISREPRESENTED THE CONDITION OF OUR PLUMBING, TRYING TO GET US TO DO A $30,000 RE-PIPING. THEY WERE NOT ON TIME FOR APPOINTMENTS. NO CLEANUP WAS DONE, THEY LEFT A REAL MESS.
