This was my fourth home purchase in Phoenix, and my sixth lender (!). Needless to say, I've had the entire spectrum of loan experiences--from a lender who wouldn't close the loan due to unrealistic stringency with regard to building permitting (out-of-state lender w/o knowledge of local market), to a loan officer who literally went on vacation and didn't forward the paperwork so the loan would close. Far and away, Nova was the most responsive, organized lender I have ever dealt with. They kept me informed with status updates throughout the process; my LO, Chris Callen, was helpful, on-the-ball, and trustworthy; and their credit dept. even advised me on how to raise my credit score so I could get a better interest rate! Although there was a hiccup with the appraisal, Nova managed to rectify it with only a minimal delay to the closing. This was the least-stressful loan process I have undergone... I have finally found my lender!
