George Reid Jr. Custom Painting

Painter was spray painting the iron rods of the back fence that backs up into the desert. It is a preserve called Natural Area of Open Space that environmentally sensitive. I stopped the painter and he called Mr. Reid, the owner of the paint company. When I talked to Mr Reid, I told him they can't spray paint b/c of NAOS. He refused to brush paint the iron posts, so I suggested he call the City to ask how to proceed. He said that calling the city was too much hassle for a couple hundred dollars. The painter brought out a screen to sheild the protected desert area behind the fence, but the painter was spraying paint 20 feet from where they put the protection screen. So, the painter was wearing a mask to protect himself from the chemicals that he was spraying into a protected environment. When I asked the painter why he was painting on one side of the yard with the shield on the other side, they walked off the job and left butcher paper with orange tape attached to my adjoining wall.

the crew showed up on time and proceeded to wash the house and patch the stucco where repair was needed. cracked wood was patched. all the windows were sealed with plastic wrap, as were all fixtures and other items that were around and being painted. on day two, the entire house was painted while the crew took care to to cover all furniture and plants. the clean up was generally good, but where things were not cleaned well, they were noticeably missed.

The three person team worked efficiently and professionally. They properly guarded against paint getting on places where it was unwanted such as patio floors and the like. They completed the job in a day and one half. Their clean-up was complete. I am impressed with the job they did.

DOES EXCELLENT WORK. BY FAR THE CHEAPEST OF ALL ESTIMATES AND DID A GREAT JOB. 3000 SQUARE FOOT HOUSE.
