I was very impressed by their level of customer service, especially given the poor service by other companies. Dale personally helped me resolve issues. When I left the store with the laminate, I took one less pad than I bought. One of their employees drove 10 miles to give it to me, even though I didn't know it was missing yet. The only complaint I had was that when I was shopping, I asked about their Floorcraft brand laminate, trying to understand what company made it so I could compare prices with other stores that sell it. They told me they didn't know, but that it was either Armstrong, Mannington, or Shaw. I wanted Armstrong, but couldn't do any comparisons. When I finally got the product, it was Mannington, which is good also. Then I saw that they knew it was Mannington all along, and the Floorcraft brand isn't even on the packaging. It's purely to confuse customers (they'll say they add to the warranty, but in reality, there is no difference between a 25 and a 50 year warranty on a product that won't last 25 years.). I like the carpet and laminate and had no problems with Flooring America's installers. The prices were good, and I got the 5 star products for prices I was seeing for medium grade flooring elsewhere. The service was good. I just thought that the flooring industry misinformation was annoying.

They were a good company but their prices were too high. They had really good products but were real expensive. He was real friendly and knowledgeable. He brought plenty of materials-he didn't come empty handed but it was too expensive. I told them we wanted dark wood and thick wood- he brought out exactly what I wanted but he just had some real expensive wood I guess. He came out for free- it was a free consultation.

Flooring America just completed installing new floor tile in our home. It was a big job and we were living in 2 small bedrooms during this time. Dale came to our home and explained all the details of the process including a cost proposal. The project began with demolition of our old tile. The crew covered our cabinet doors and little bit of large furniture left inside. After demo there was clean up then laying the new tile. I was home during the whole process so I saw the labor involved. I think Eferen leads the best tile installation crew in the city. They were a team! They all had their jobs and each did what they needed to do so everything went really smooth. As the floors began to take shape I saw the care they took in the install. The tile placement to create the diagonal pattern was precise and always the priority. During the finish stage where all the small pieces are cut around the edges I really saw the skill this team has. The cuts around the doors and edges are impecible. and the grout is the thinnest that can be used. I was really tired of living in very small spaces, but the crew was very tolerant of my many visits out into their work area, always answering my questions and explaining what they were doing. One of my big concerns was what kind of clean up would they do at completion? That was shocking too! They totally cleaned all the outside spaces where they had been sawing tile and mixing cement along with their inside work areas. They even hosed the grass where they had to dump white water so there was no trace of the residue left. They moved the furniture that was inside into place too. I will not need any more new floor tile but Flooring America has other tiles that may interest me later. I recommend Flooring America for their commitment to customer satisfaction, inventory selection, pricing and their installers. We had an estimate done. They were very punctual and polite. When all is said and done they charge over six dollars a square foot for install. This is not broken down in the estimate, you need to do the math yourself. This is way to high, no wonder they have free tear out of your old tile! I don't like this bait and switch.

Too expensive, so we didn't do the job.

We're thrilled with the results of our new tile floor. We used a diagonal pattern with 1/8 inch grout line, which we were told is difficult to install. Ours turned out great. Cole, their young representative, worked hard to make the process work for us and the installers took great pains to make sure we always had access to the essentials for daily living (refrigerator, sinks, beds,etc.).

In-store, it was terrific. Our sales rep Ron was great and when he didn't know the answer to my question about the differences in some of Kahrs' finishes, he found out for me. I was really happy with the product selection. Ron brought all the samples I chose to my house, took measurements, and gave me an estimate on the spot. The installation went less smoothly. The team of four men was uneven in their workmanship. Some guys did terrific jobs; at least one had trouble cutting and fitting baseboards properly and we complained to Ron about the lousy work. Also, the team was really rushing to get out of there and left a HUGE mess (razor blades, bent nails, empty coke cans, construction debris, etc.) at the end of the day. I left all as-is to show Ron, who came over as soon as I called to complain. There was also some damage to the wood in one room which we did not cause, but as I expected, the repair was made without a problem. In the end we were very happy with the floors and Ron.

The employees we dealt with were very professional, and worked with us closely through out the process of choosing materials and getting the installation completed. The installers worked very quickly and did a good job. On a couple of occasions the installers showed up without calling ahead which was inconvenient for us. There was a manufactures defect in one of the flooring planks, and the company worked with us until we were satisfied. We would re-hire without question.
