 + 0 moreWe think Bruce Farmer's work is outstanding, as is the work of his team. They are the fourth crew that we have hired to maintain our yard, and it has never looked better. Yes, on occasion he is late. Bruce has a family member who sometimes needs emergency care, and I can certainly live with that; it is not an issue to me. The price I quoted above includes several maintenance visits plus cost of all new plants and getting them planted. Very fair price; less per plant than we paid we for the initial landscaping of our back yard. Bruce really knows the Arizona plants, which ones to plant where, and how to care for them properly. I find him to be an excellent advisor The whole team is extremely diligent, friendly, polite, knowledgeable. They are fanatic about pulling weeds and cleaning up after themselves. They charge more per visit than some others do. But they stay twice or three times as long, and you don't need them as often because they are so thorough. I highly recommend this company!
Description of Work: Bruce and his team come about every six weeks to keep our yard up to date. They provide all the trimming and fertilizer services. Also they have cured a pest situation that was damaging the yellow bells. They are the only ones who have ever managed the weeds properly! We also bought a large number of replacement plants; Bruce purchased very healthy plants at the nursery, gave us great prices, and his team planted all of them. They also properly relocated a number of stations on our irrigation system.He gave us a lifetime guarantee on those plants. They are gorgeous--have been in the ground about six weeks and every one is thriving. Although Bruce does not install or repair irrigation systems, he is very knowledgeable about the system and how much water the plants need at different times of the year. He discovered a problem with our system and recommended someone to fix it, who did so promptly, correctly, and at a reasonable price.

 + -1 moreBruce does good work and our relationship was good for nearly two years. However, he crossed the line when a couple of months ago he asked me, his client, for a loan to pay bills. I refused, and should have fired him then. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and asked him to continue service, which he did. He was scheduled to come back today. He emailed me and said he would be an hour and a half late. He didn't show up. I waited another hour and a half and sent him an email telling him not to bother to come that day and voiced my displeasure in his unprofessionalism. Several hours later I sent another email asking what time I could expect him the next day. He eventually responded and was highly agitated and said he would not be back ever. He has lots of personal and health issues. I feel sorry for him. I can't say I would recommend him.

 + 0 moreBruce the owner came out on Tuesday looked at my property gave me a estimate and said he would be back Thursday to start monthly service. Came out earlier than he told me and did what he said he was going to do and left me a detailed invoice on what was done and what to do with the new seed. I would highly recommend farmer landscape.

 + -1 moreArrival for walk-through was prompt, thorough and professional, providing a written estimate of exact work that would be performed. Although we ultimately decided to do the work ourselves, it's likely we'll use this service provider next season.
Description of Work: Asking for estimates for weed/grass removal from 1 acre property, the response to inquiry/email/phone calls was outstanding! Even returned a call when going out of town for a few days.

 + 0 moreBruce called to ask if they could come a bit earlier than our original appointment. That was a welcome surprise for me as I had an appointment later in the day and the timing made it easier on me. We walked the yard, discussed what needed to be done, Bruce made recommendations which I appreciated and after a discussion with his crew they got right to work. Thank goodness Bruce understands irrigation systems because he discovered a leak in the back-flow fixture and is recommending an irrigation expert for me to call. Plus, someone had turned my entire irrigation system off and while I can follow the directions in the booklet to reset it, but because Bruce knows how much water each plant needs, he set the controls for the hot weather coming up which was much appreciated.
Description of Work: Once again Bruce and his team exceeded my expectations. They removed all parts of the landscaping that was affected by the winter weather. I live in an area where it drops into the 20's on some winter nights and my choice of landscape materials won't tolerate those temperatures. It was a windy day andd not a good day for blowing out leaves and other debris. Bruce let me know that they would come back in a few days on a windless day and ensure the granite was as clean as they could make it considering the granite is large which makes it more difficult to remove every tiny piece of debris. Bruce and his team are truly life savers for me since the house is being sold and he will make sure that it looks its very best when the realtor starts the showings. Bruce is also professional, very knowledgable about landscape materials, a true gentleman and extremely easy to work with. I've come to consider him a friend rather than just an acquaintenance. I will gladly recommend Bruce's company at every opportunity.

Description of Work: Company did a complete landscape renewal of over grown one acre property with many palm trees , other trees and shrubs. They did an outstanding job. They were very responsive, completed the job on time, and communicated very well. Owner is very professional , courteous, and knowledgable. . Completes a checklist of services performed every time. Very service oriented. His team is experienced and hardworking. A pleasure to work with Bruce!

 + -1 moreExcellent!! Bruce listened to what I wanted done, instructed his crew and the whole exprience was very satisfying. I even received a postcard from my HOA complimenting me on my nicely landscaped and maintained yard; what a surprise!!
Description of Work: The crew trimmed all vegetation in the front and backyards, hand pruned my roses, gave the fountain grass a beautiful cut, blew out all debris and double raked the granite.
