DUGAN PLUMBING

My kitchen sink was draining slowly, I contacted my home warranty company and they picked this company based on location to come assess the problem. I was given a four hour window for them to show up on the scheduled day, four hours past and they had not shown up as scheduled. I called and got an excuse why they were late. the plumber ended up showing up about an hour after my phone call. My drain was snaked and mud/dirt was retrieved. They did not use a camera to further investigate or locate the location of the problem in the floor because he said the drain was too small and the camera would not fit. It was concluded I had a slab leak, requiring extensive work that included jackhammering through my foundation, locating the broken drain and then fixing it. Which would have taken 2 days according to this plumber. We scheduled dates and times to have this completed. When they were supposed to show up on the scheduled day and time, again no one came, I called their office and their dispatcher was confused and unaware of what was going on. he said he would call me back. when he called back I just got another excuse as to why they were not going to be on-time and that it would be several hours before coming. At this point I simply cancelled the whole deal.

Dugan is great to work with. No complaints. They communicate well and get the job done right.

They have been out three times and have been unable to complete the repair to the hot water valve in the bathroom sink. Also, they were unable to fix the shower and appeared to not really consider any option but replacement of the expensive assembly.

CUT HOLE IN DRYWALL IN ATTEMPT TO DETERMINE LOCATION. CUT ANOTHER HOLE WHEN THE FIRST DIDN'T REVEAL SOURCE. JACKHAMMERED THE FLOOR TO GET TO LEAK, DENTING ANOTHER PIPE. AFTER 10 HOURS, NOT ABLE TO REPAIR THE LEAK. SAID HE WOULD RETURN IN 2 DAYS. 2 DAYS LATER, A LARGE STREAM OF WATER BEGAN SPRAYING THROUGH BEDROOM WHERE SOLDERING WAS NOT CORRECT. THIS WAS A PLUMBER WHO WAS OUTSOURCED BY THE COMPANY, WHICH WAS EXPERIENCING A LARGE DEMAND FOR WORK.

THEY CAME RIGHT AWAY, AND WHEN THEY HAD TO RETURN FOR A MINOR CHECKUP THEY CAME AT THE APPOINTED TIME. WORK WAS DONE NEATLY, AND THE TECHNICIAN WAS WELL-TRAINED AND PROFESSIONAL. CLEANUP WAS GREAT.
