He's a very nice guy, usually very reliable and does a thorough job.

The pump replacement was done adequately, but the sand replacement and tile repair were a disaster. The filter valve broke when removed and was replaced with a used one. The re-assembled filter then leaked. This was understandable, given the age of the filter, but I counted on the company to know whether it made more sense to replace the filter or try to maintain it with a sand change. They recommended the latter,not a good idea. The whole process also went on for days, as they never seemed to have the necessary supplies and always started work very late, working well into the night. This did not help job quality, as the tiles were all put back in the wrong position. In the end, I hired another company to simply replace the damaged filter.

Owner, Sarkis, said he would personally inspect the pool himself on Wednesday before noon and call me with an estimate. He never showed up, so I called him Wednesday night. He said he would do it on Thursday morning and call me. He never showed up. On Friday afternoon I received a call from a 3rd party that they were at my house. I immediately called Sarkis, asked him why he didn't go on Thursday, and reminded him he promised he would do the work himself. He said he would call his worker and call me back. He never called me back. I later found out the person he did send out on Friday didn't even work for him. Lucky for me, that guy was awesome. I do NOT recommend Sarkis/Cool Times.

WE HAD GREAT SERVICE. WE'D HAD SOMEONE WHO PREVIOUSLY QUOTED US A MUCH HIGHER AMOUNT. THEY WANTED TO FIX INDIVIDUAL PARTS WHICH WOULD HAVE ULTIMATELY COST US MORE THAN JUST REPLACING THE ENTIRE PUMP. THE VACUUM/PUMP WAS TAKEN AWAY & REPLACED. IT NOW WORKS GREAT & OUR POOL HAS BEEN STAYING VERY CLEAN & SWIM-ABLE.

ONLY PLACE TO ANSWER PHONE ON HOLIDAY WEEKEND. CAME PROMPTLY. PRICE WAS LESS THAN OVER THE PHONE QUOTE. SHOWED ME HOW TO FIX NEXT TIME ON OWN. VERY FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT.
