CHRISMAN'S A/C AND HEATING

Ken arrived shortly after I called and ask what the symptoms were. I suspected the compressor and it checked locked up. Ken found a run capacitor that was bad and installed another, which allowed the compressor to run a short time. He then tried a Hard Start Booster and the compressor purred. Ken installed a permanent Hard Start unit and informed me that the compressor could run for several more years on only a short time. The said the Hard Start Booster was just a way of getting more service out of a tired compressor. I really enjoyed watching Ken work and he was very good about explaining what he was testing or doing and why. Christman's AC & Heating is a quality operation and I am glad to be one of their loyal customers.

The west A/C unit would not cool it's zone. We had just purchased the home and our realtor suggested Chrisman's as a good and honest service source. They arrived promptly and found that the previous owner had removed the thermostat and reinstalled a very cheap model. The wires for the airconditioning and heat had been reversed so when the thermostat requested cooling the heater came on instead. I asked Chrisman's to update the thermostat to a digital model. I was very happy with the quality of work and the problem solving, I could have had only a minimum charge, but it was my decision to upgrade the thermostat. Very prompt, professional and the bill was very detailed with all the work that was done.
