Description of Work: Trying to give this provider the benefit of the doubt. Based on reviews, I contacted via phone regarding master shower plumbing/valve problem. After many rings, left vmail message. The voice mail just said unavailable and would return my call. No return call. Called again 2 days later (again giving the benefit of the doubt based on the reviews) and got vmail. I did not leave vmail second time. To this day, still no return call. The website is still up so I don't know if they are no longer in business, but a call back even to say they could not help me would have been appreciated.

Description of Work: Mark is a diamond-in-the-rough and he'll always be the first one called whenever a plumber is needed.. I'll also make sure all friends/family are aware of his honesty, integrity, fairness, and excellent work. Had a leaking drain from kitchen sink that was not noticeable in the house at all. Outside, it was apparent whenever water was put down the drain because it was coming out of the bottom of the wall. We expected the worst and called Mark after being referred to him by my son, only to then find him on Angie's List with top reviews also. He estimated the cost at right around $150.00 (he also warned it could be more depending upon what he found the problem to be after opening a 2x1 foot hole in the stucco wall), and after he was done the cost was right on the mark at $150.00. Highly recommend Mark for any/all plumbing issues, and new construction also which he has experience with too.

+ -1 moreMark did a great job. First, he showed up on time and was very professional and congenial. Mark removed the old sink, cleaned the site, removed the old faucet and RO faucet. He drilled a hole in the new sink for the RO faucet. He then caulked and seated the sink, installed the two faucets, re-directed the garbage disposal, repositioned the RO equipment under the kitchen sink and put extra clear caulking around the sink and backsplash for a tight seal. He cleaned up everything and hauled off the old sink/faucets.
Description of Work: Kitchen sink removed and replaced with new sink, faucet and RO faucet.

+ -1 moreMark arrived promptly at the promised start time. He removed the old sink, helped trim the countertop for the new sink, and went on to install the plumbing. Mark was very concerned about the mess the grinder would make, but I told him it was OK and I would clean up afterwards. It was nice to see a plumber concerned in that way. The overall quality of the installation was good and Mark even did a few extra items for free, like re-caulking the countertop to splash guard seam and installing a new washing machine hose. Mark kindly took the old sink and large boxes which was nice and saved me a trip to the dump.
Description of Work: Contacted Mark due to favorable reviews here. Gave a quote to help install a kitchen sink and all the associated plumbing including a faucet, disposal, etc. He also said he would help with any trimming of the Corian countertop if necessary to get the sink to drop in (many plumbers did not want to tackle this).

water heater repair
+ -1 moreMark was awesome! He came to my rescue in record time! My water heater was leaking all over my garage. I called him at approximately 2:30 and he was at my house with a water heater by 4:00. It was installed by 4:30. He explained the cost and my options clearly, he was friendly, professional, worked very clean. I will DEFINITELY recommend his services to my friends and family! Thanks Mark for a job well done!

+ -1 moreTerrific! That really says a lot. I have never had a good experience with a plumber, sorry plumbers, I am sure there are more good ones, but I have just been unlucky. My past experiences range from the unprepared who couldn't solve a problem to the ones who do get the work done but at such an extreme cost. This was completely different. Even though some parts needed to be hunted down, Mark stayed with it and really went the extra mile to make this all work for me. Mark was very clear in his explanations of what needed and what didn't need to be done. Mark provided alternatives for each portion of the work he completed. I could not be happier! Now I know who I will be calling for all my future plumbing needs.
Description of Work: Mark repaired the kitchen faucet aerator, repaired the hose on the laundry sink faucet, replaced three delta cartridges on bathroom faucets, and installed a new angle stop on a bathroom faucet.

+ -1 moreI am very pleased with Mark's work. He was punctual, kept in contact with me, and completed his work exceptionally quickly and well. He had to tell me that the pipes in my wall that fed into my bathtub were so old and corroded that they should be replaced. I was shocked to hear him say he would replace everything with copper plumbing for only an additional cost of $300.00. He used copper pipes he already had instead of charging me for additional; that was a very kind thing to do in order to keep my costs down. He did a wonderful job, and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking an honest and talented plumber.
Description of Work: Removal of bathtub and replacement with new; removal of sink/vanity; removal of old faucets and pipes in wall for bathtub and replacement with new. Removal of wall tile around tub.

We have used Brooklyn Plumbing a number of times and always been completely satisfied with their work. We never need to call anyone else.
Description of Work: Brooklyn Plumbing installed a water recirculation pump and fixed our shower faucet (the hot and cold water were installed incorrectly by the builder, and the hot and cold were switched).
